Chapter Text

At the age of 22, you lost your memory in a fight. You were found with blood all over you, but there were no wounds that would cause that amount of blood. You only a few scratches and bruises…?

When you woke up the police interviewed you about what had happened, but you had no memory of what happened that night and what happened in your life before then.

They called in the best neurosurgeon in the hospital; you had many surgeries to try to regain your memory back. None of the surgeries helped and you had to recover on your own instead.

After around 3 months of close watching, there was no improvement. So they sent you home, praying one day that you would get your memory back and give your statement.

When you got home, you didn’t recall the place you had once called home. It felt odd… cold, so you redecorated and kept decorating until it looked like what you had imagined.

Over the months, you had gained back the memory of your family and your childhood dog. You reached out to them and told them what had happened to you.

Every time you called, they said that they would ‘fly over right now’ but they never came. You kept calling, hoping for someone to pick up the home phone. Nevertheless, every time it hit the fifth ring, it simply responded, “This number can’t be reached at the moment, please try again later.”

So, you tried to start your life again with a new phone number and a new dog. Over the next 5 years, you got little more memory back about your ex lovers and the schools you went to—not the memories of school just the place.

Now, it had been exactly 5 years and 2 months since this had happened. Sp, you pick up the phone and dialled your parents number! 61+*********.   The phone rang—RING RING!—and the same robotic voice spoke, “This number can’t be reached at the moment, please try again later.”

Every time she rang, it said the same thing. After a little more time, she rang again and someone finally answered: it was her dad.

“Don’t call this number again, once you get your memory back you’ll understand!” What did he mean he mean? What did you do? Y/N thought, confused.
