fic is set in an Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamics universe dean Winchester is an omega dick Grayson is an alpha
batman, dick Grayson, tim drake all stand around a photo
the photo is of dean Winchester with ben Braeden, who in this universe is dean's son with dick Grayson, he looks like dick Grayson.
batman: that looks like the mercenary's son i sent you to spy on as dick Grayson when you were robin
dick: hehe, which one?
batman: the one who's father almost killed you as robin
tim: what!?!
dick: oh, that one.
batman: remind me why i had to stop his father from killing you? and how he found out robin was dick Grayson?
Dick: he smelled his son's heat scent on me
tim: what?!?
Batman: yes that.
Dick: he said he'd take a morning after pill.
Batman: clearly he didn't.
in this universe john becomes a mercenary as well as a hunter to pay the bills and get more resources
he gets jobs where he has hunts and gets hunts where he has jobs
allot of them are both, hits from crimelords that don't know their rivals are supernatural and if your going to kill them anyway might as well see if someone is paying.
john takes work in gotham and decides to stick around for the school year because there's a ton of both type of jobs
bruce send dick to spy on john through dean, as dick grayson.
the two become friends,
john takes jobs while dodging batman and robin(dick)
dean goes into heat early and dick spends it with him(consensually but john doesn't think that even after they leave and dean explains)
john gets into a scuffle with robin and scents dean's heat scent and goes into a rage almost killing him (not sure if john should be alpha or omega), batman stops him
dean forgets the pill in the rush to leave and handle sam being pissed and talk john down
john wants dean to abort, he winds up telling him the whole truth about sam, angels, demons etc. because he wants dean to understand the stakes before he decides to go through with the pregnancy. dean decides to keep the baby
