Chapter Text
Luke stared up at the ceiling from the messy sheets that layed on his bed. The room was dimmed out by the curtains blocking the sun light from the window, only a few spectators of light dared to shine through the gaps.
He just felt numb and he didn't mean his body even though his body did hurt, but he was used to it feeling sore. Instead, he felt numb mentally, he felt like his body was decaying right before his eyes. It felt like he was watchinsg someone else's life go on instead of his own.
Luke felt stupid, how did he let his life go away like this?
Was it because of the tour life? Maybe it was because he wasted away his teen years performing in a band.
He had many regrets in his life, but he'd never regret the people who he was friends with, he'd never give them away.
Luke just held his breathe as he heard someone turning off the shower, before walking out. They threw the towel on the floor before grabbing their clothes that were scattered on the carpet floor. Luke still didn't move, his eyes still staring at the ceiling.
The guy then brushes his hand against Luke's thigh before his hand moved towards his cheek. Their skins in complete contrast from each other. Lukes's skin looked tan from their fair skin.
Luke eyes still didn't dare to look away from the dark ceiling. Their touch felt cold and off, no passion or connection. Luke didn't move or lean into their touch like usual. He just layed there being numb before they let out a frustrated sigh.
They muttered something softly, it sounded sweet. Sweet like a grapefruit, having to get through the sour parts just for the sweetness that won 'tlast.
When they finally walked away, Luke's gaze fell from the ceiling and looked at the back of their head.
Red messy hair that belong to Michael Clifford, the guitarist of their band and his situationship.
He finally felt like he could breathe again when he heard the click of the bedroom door shutting.
