Chapter Text
Tord stood up from his bed and made his way to the balcony door. He entered the balcony, and lit a cigarette. He was angry. So angry that he could just kill himself on the spot. He looked at his mechanical arm. It felt cold. He didn’t like it. He didn’t like it at all. It was all that fucking Tom’s fault, where did he even get that harpoon gun? That didn’t matter anymore, as he was away from them now.
“I shouldn’t have gone back,” Tord sighed. Right after he said that, Paul entered his room. “Tord?” He asked as he walked onto the balcony. Paul didn’t go further than the door. “Are you okay? It’s like four in the morning, shouldn’t you be sleeping by now?” Paul asked him. “You’re not my fucking mom, Paul. Also, we’re grown adults, no one’s telling us to go to sleep,” Tord said, frustrated. “Wow, sorry. Are you fine, though? Still bitter about what happened.. You know?”
“Fuck you,” Tord growled. “I’m not bitter, Paul. Just.. Angry. I spent YEARS on that robot, and for what? Tom just blowing it to pieces with just one harpoon?” Tord explained. “He will pay for that.” Tord clenched his robot fist, as he took a hit from the cigarette. “What are you going to do, Tord? Are you gonna kill him, or?” Paul asked. Tord looked down from the balcony. He wanted to do that. He wanted to kill Tom. So bad. But also he didn’t. He didn’t know what, but something was keeping him from killing him. “Probably not. Forget everything I said, Paul. It doesn’t matter anyway,” Tord mumbled. Paul was shocked. He didn’t think that Tord would say no. “Okay… I’ll go back to sleep, so that I won’t sleep till noon again. Night, Tord,” he said as he turned around and left his room.
Tord was alone again. He finished the cigarette, and threw the stump down from the balcony. He was tired, but he didn’t want to sleep. Despite that, he went to bed. He read for a while, until inevitably falling asleep.
