A sound "soul" dwells within a sound mind and a sound body. Death Weapon Meister Academy… popularly knows as the DWMA. It's an institution to train weapons and meisters, established by Death, to prevent Kishins, the demon gods who plunged the entire world into the depths of terror, drove people into a maelstrom of madness, and nearly destroyed everything, from ever being born again.
The gist of it is, it's an organization of justice, to keep the peace. Why is it a technical school, anyway? Oh well. Now then, let's all get ourselves duly keyed up, and get going!
Death City is a seemingly peaceful place. Although no city is so 100% safe. Especially at night. Then in the streets and in dark corners lurk all sorts of monsters, hooligans and the very evil that is afraid of the sun. All in all, no one was surprised. By day the sun, by night by the moon, they both always smiled with their big mouths, and either laughed all the time, or streams of blood dripped from their closed, wide mouths. But that didn't bother those who were born there. One of them was the teenage Noira. On the surface, she was a quiet and attentive girl, but under that face she was friendly and, above all, brilliant. Extremely intelligent. She inherited her mind from her father, her beauty from her mother.
Fair skin, tall, slim. She always wore dresses in one color, usually black. In the same way as her long, straight hair. Her greenish-blue eyes were huge and always lit up when she thought of something. Her family also had an interesting history. His father was a DWMA graduate, while his mother was a scientist. Unfortunately, Noira's mother died during her childbirth, so the girl never met her mother. My father, on the other hand, had a controversial way of upbringing. He was quite controversial himself. But it doesn't matter at the moment. Noira, like her father, wanted to get into the academy, but there was one problem.
She didn't have any Meister. She was alone.
Her father always told her "not having a Meister is not a bad thing. You are self-sufficient." At first, it was ridiculous for her. But over time, she admitted to herself that her father was right. After all, you can be a weapon and a Meister in one form. So, hardened, she decided that I would enrol in the DWMA and complete it as a weapon and a Meister at the same time.
