Chapter Text
[This will be set 2000 years after the events of the books, when no one remembers the war between Burn, Blaze, and Blister, and DarkStalkers appearance, and there are no scrolls about it because I don't want to get many things wrong. There will however be a few hints about them here and there, but not much. Here, a new war will be going on between the kingdoms. The SeaWings, RainWings and NightWings, and MudWings allied, while the SandWings, IceWings, and SkyWings are allied. It was caused when a new vicious queen of the SkyWings took over. Queen Sunset. She wanted to take over all of Pyrrhia and Pantala, and promised the IceWings, SilkWings, and SandWings large portions of land. The three queens, greedy for land and power, allied with Queen Sunset. But from somewhere once unknown to the dragons of Pyrrhia or Pantala, a prophecy came.
The six kingdoms continue to fight.
One day the sky will darken with rain as black as night.
Four new dragons will rise, bringing light.
One of Storm, One of Fire, One of Rock, and One of Tree.
With the new found darkness six fighting queens will become three.]
---
The SkyWing queen tapped her claws onto the stone table, frustrated. Her red scales gleamed in the sunlight that poured through the library's windows in the sky kingdom. The IceWing and SandWing queens looked at each other uneasily. Spread out on the stone table was a large map, just barely larger than the table, that showed all of Pyrrhia. "Can someone tell me why, with our enormous army," She swung her tail and a large stone bookshelf filled with scrolls was knocked over with a loud crash. "We are failing to take over the other three kingdoms?!" She roared. The SkyWing gaurds in the room backed up in fear of their queen. Queen Polarbear stepped forward, the chain's connected to her large, round, icy blue glasses making a jingling noise. "Sunset, our enemies have a large army as well. Knowing MudWings they have very trained troops, and the RainWings and NightWings are both close allies, not to mention the RainWing's camouflage and NightWing's stealth. The SeaWings have the advantage of the sea as well."
Queen Sunset slammed her fist onto the stone table. "SkyWings have the sky and strong wings! SandWings have their barbed tails! And IceWings have their ice breath, and serated talons! We have hundreds upon thousands of souls in our talons willing to fight!" But, that didn't sound as good as the other kingdoms abilities and ranks. Just then, the scrambling of talons echoed down the hall outside the map room's door. The door slammed open and a small SandWing scrambled over to them, panting. His tail was waving about, just narrowly missing a IceWing guard. "Your majesties!" He panted. "I have received a disturbing message!" Sunset didn't have time to wait. "Well?" She growled. The SandWing messenger fumbled with the large sack tied around his neck, and pulled out a scroll. He set it down on top of the map. Polarbear examined the scroll and looked at the messenger. "Where did you find this Fennec?" The SandWing immediately burst out, explaining what happened. "I-I was flying to send a message to one of our troops, from his relatives, when a weird looking dragon signaled me to them."
Queen Beetle seemed interested. "Go on?" He rubbed his head. "She looked so.... Odd. Nothing like any dragon I've ever seen. She was covered in white fur, with small wings and feline like paws. Her eyes were so creepy. They were blue, not a cold blue but like an electric blue. When I landed, she seemed friendly. I asked for her name. She didn't reply. She then stared at me, and her eyes, they felt like they were hypnotizing me. My vision started turning black, and her voice was all echoey and weird. She held up this scroll, and told me to bring it to every queen of Pyrrhia. She said no one but the queens can see it, and if I show it to someone who isn't royalty first, I'd be punished. And then I found myself falling from the sky, in the exact spot where I had been flying, as if it was a hallucination or something." Sunset's mood had changed from agitated, to intruiged. She reached out her talons and grabbed the scroll, unrolling it. The writing unsettled her.
The six kingdoms continue to fight.
One day the sky will darken with rain as black as night.
Four new dragons will rise, bringing light.
One of Storm, One of Fire, One of Rock, and One of Tree.
With the new found darkness six fighting queens will become three.
The three queens will be blinded by hate, and be met with a horrible fate.
To find these dragons you must listen.
To find the egg of storm fly to the highest peak, where you must seek.
To find the egg of fire look in the dark sand, be careful not to burn your hand.
To find the egg of rock you must dig, for where it is hidden is big.
To find the egg of tree you must go to the forest, where there hides the poorest.
If you do not find them, look for the eyes of emerald that will come from above.
Then you have found the ones I speak of.
The place to look is not near, a journey you must bear.
Go to a land to the east, and you find things you like least.
Each queen looked at each other uneasily. Polar bear shook her head. "I had no idea there were more dragon species, let alone an entire new continent." Beetle examined the prophecy. "This says three queens blinded by hate will meet a horrible fate. It seems we will lose the war." Sunset's face curled into an unsettling smile. "Perhaps we could change our fates." Beetle gave her a questioning look. "If there is a new continent, there will be kingdoms. If we get the queens of the new continent on our side, then we will be more powerful than the other three kingdoms." Polarbear smiled, showing her glittering white teeth. "Well then, I suppose we should send out messengers." Fennec spoke up. "But, what about the dragons who will rise up?" Beetle played with a cactus shaped gem she wore around her neck. "We could simply find them first, and destroy them."
---
Immediately messengers and scouts, to find the eggs, were sent to find the continent. They searched, and searched, but to no avail. Until a month later, a scout came back. "Your majesty!" She exclaimed as she bowed beneath Sunset. "We found the continent!" The SkyWing clapped her hands together. "Oh how wonderful! Now then, have you started on finding the eggs?" The scout nodded. "As soon as we found it, we immediately went to work as the messengers searched for the continents queens. But, there is something wrong." Sunset narrowed her yellow eyes. "And what issssss that?" She hissed. The scout looked down in fear. "We went to every area that matched the prophecy's description, but there were holes, dug out. There were no eggs. We believe someone from that continent has already found them!" Sunset flared her massive wings, the light from the windows behind her shining through the webbing and covering the front of the room in orangeish light. "WHAT?!"
