Summary
Four weeks had passed since Lady rescued Dante from the clutches of Darkom. Four weeks of constant flight, hiding in the shadows, and living under the unrelenting weight of anticipation—always expecting Bains and his men to strike. Exhaustion clung to her bones, but it was the guilt that truly haunted her.
