Summary
When the Beast opened its mouth to speak, Essek was faced with a mouthful of canine, wolfish fangs and teeth.

Essek was utterly petrified. The small, primal part of him which flinched from flames and the edges of cliffs had woken and declared the thing standing before him a threat. More than a threat, a nightmare.Essek, long having retreated into exile, is trapped by an obscure curse and forced to shelter in a strange isolated manor. His only hope of escape is in the hands of the apparent lord of the manor, a Beast who is appears both charming and repellent in equal measure.
