When Harua drags him to the coffee shop to see his crush, Euijoo doesn't protest. He doesn't have much else to do and he is always up for a coffee.
The cafe is a little space around the corner of their uni. It has a cozy vibe like a next door house turned into a cafe.
When they enter the cafe the smell of caffeine hits him. Something about the smell of caffeine is addicting to him. There are two baristas on the counter. Euijoo has never seen Harua’s crush so he doesn't know which one it is.
The first guy is a little short. The soft pink hair really suits him, Euijoo notes. Is that fangs? Real fangs? He has only seen that on Yuma and Sunghoon. But Yuma is a cat and Sunghoon is a vampire. They might say they are just human but Euijoo doesn't believe it.
The second guy. Wow there is only one word Euijoo can think of pretty. The guy is really pretty. His face is sharp and soft at the same time. He has broad shoulders and a small waist. Which looks extra snatched because of the apron tied around the waist. Euijoo realises he is staring so he looks away immediately. Thankfully the barista was too busy working to notice.
“Which one is your crush,” Euijoo asks Harua who is practically vibrating on his toes.
“The pink hair,” Harua has not taken his eyes from the guy. “ He is cute,” Euijoo replies even though the other guy is more Euijoo’s type.
“I know right,” Harua sighs.
“Come on, let's order. You can't woo the guy just buy staring at him,” Euijoo pats Harua’s shoulder. “If only it was that easy,”.
It's not that crowded in the cafe today. So they are able to order quickly.
The pink haired guy welcomes Harua with a wide smile. “ Hii, Harua, I thought you found a new place cause you haven't come in two days,” Riwoo, Euijoo learns from the nametag fake pouts.
“Why new place, I could have just got over my coffee addiction too,” Harua argues.
“I don't think that is possible,” Riwoo chuckles. Euijoo watches as they continue to talk while ordering. Harua has grown so much. It's like watching his kid trying to flirt.
“Are you Harua’s friend,” A soft voice startled him. He sees the other barista standing across from him on the counter.
Seeing Euijoo’s face, the guy panics.” Sorry I didn't mean to surprise you,” Euijoo who regained his consciousness shook his head. “ It's ok I was just distracted,” The guy sungho, which once again Euijoo notices from the name tag laughs. The pretty guy has a pretty laugh too. Euijoo mentally slaps himself for sidetracking.
“Yes I am Harua’s friend,” Euijoo answers the question and Sungho is confused till he realises Euijoo is answering his previous question.
“Does Harua have a crush on Riwoo?” Euijoo wasn't expecting such a straightforward question. Maybe Euijoo’s face was enough to answer Sungho's question.
“He is not very subtle you know,” this time Euijoo chuckles.
“Does Riwoo know,” Euijoo asks and Sungho shakes his head. “But I know he has a soft spot for him,” who doesn't have a soft spot for Harua?.
“You haven't told me your name,” Sungho says.
“Euijoo,” Sungho gives him a small smile. “ It's nice to meet you Euijoo-ssi, aren't you going to ask my name too,” there is a slight pout in his face.
“Your name is on the tag, sungho-ssi and it was also nice meeting you,” Harua pokes him to let him know their order was done. He hasn't noticed that. He might have even forgotten what he came here for.
“Then I will go-” Euijoo motions with his hands. “ Wait,” Sungho said and went to the back.
Harua gave him a look asking what was that honestly Euijoo doesn't know.
Sungho comes back with a bunch of cookies and extends it towards him. “I made this, please take it, it's on the house,” Euijoo is surprised. Cause they have just met.
“But-,” Euijoo is once again interrupted by sungho. “Please,”. Euijoo accepts it. “ Thank you,” Euijoo gives Sungho a soft smile.
“See you again,Euijoo-ssi,” Sungho waves goodbye to him and winks. Euijoo’s heart was not ready for that which beats too loudly in his chest. But Euijoo manges to wave back. When Euijoo returns, Harua gives him a knowing look which he ignores.
Later when he finds a number with Sungho's name on it he immediately saves it with a cat emoji. Maybe he sends a message fast too. But no one has to know it yet.
