Nico was on his way to the Apollo cabin with a special surprise for Will. Will had told him to join one of the camps for peaceful activities as a stress reliever, so Nico joined arts and crafts, but it was arguably less a stress reliever more a stress inducer.
He moved silently and quickly throughout the camp, hoping that no one would notice him, if they found out about what he had made as a gift more Will, his image would be tainted.
Shaking his head to get out of his own thoughts, he continued his speed walk to the Apollo cabin, absolutely focused on just arriving.
He would have preferred shadow travelling, but Will would just endlessly berate him and make him take a bunch of tests just to prove that he was ok “Doctors orders” he could hear Will saying, sighing, distracting himself from his thoughts, he focused on his journey once more.
Nico froze up when he saw Kayla and Austin standing on the Apollo cabins front porch, he calculated the possibilities of getting through without them seeing him, but in every case it was no good.
They were standing right in front of the door, there was simply no way to get through without being in their line of sight. Nico considered shadow travelling for what felt like the umpteenth time, but the fear of Will in his worry wart mother hen mode, was enough to make him try and find another solution.
He calculated the risks and decided to just go through the front porch, but use the shadows to encapsulate him.
Nico sneaked past Kayla and Austin and silently and quickly opened and shut the door. He looked around and found Will sitting down, reading a book. That was one of the things that Will was working on, not being in the infirmary 24/7.
Nico came up to Will holding the package he had carefully in his hands and he wordlessly put it down on the desk in front of Will.
Will raised an eyebrow and opened it, in it was a hand painted mug with a black sun and a yellow, bright skull.
Will looked at Nico and took him in his arms and kissed him on the lips softly. Nico blushed and nuzzled into Wills chest.
