Disventure Camp World Tour

Summary:

A Total Drama World Tour rewrite with the Disventure Camp Carnival of Chaos characters!

Chapter 1: Walk Like an Egyptian - Part 1

Chapter Text

Disventure Camp World Tour

Before we begin:

Hello and welcome to my brand new series. Disventure Camp World Tour!

In this fanfiction you will see the 18 new contestants from Disventure Camp Carnival of Chaos battle it out if they were in the Total Drama World Tour season. All of them have replaced the previous contestants and will have a brand new arc or a similar one to their original season (DCCOC).

For host, I’ve kept Chris McLean and have also kept Chef Hatchet; however, I’ve replaced Blaineley with Emily for the aftermaths. And how will they work? I’m planning to make them like a little snippet of episodes and nothing too long or important, mostly like the Carnival of Chaos exit interviews where we learn about the eliminated contestants!

Challenges have been kept MOSTLY the same (one or two will have a bit of altering), and the songs will be removed due to not playing that big of a role in most of those characters' storylines. Some of the dialogue for Chris will stay the same unless it’s a brand new scene with one of the contestants or for the plot itself!

One more thing: This will act like the first season these contestants have been in, so, no, season 4 of Disventure Camp hasn’t happened yet or will never happen in this universe. (+TDI and TDA have happened with the old Total Drama contestants.)

I think that mostly does it and should explain how this series will go! Now, have fun and let me know how you feel about this episode and the rest when it comes out!

The season begins with Chris McLean standing in front of a camera that was located at an airport.

“Season three of Total Drama, folks! The world is going to be mine!” Chris said, smiling at the camera. “Sea to shining sea! Sadly, I’m forced to share my world with a free-ring traveling freak show.” A bus arrived at the airport, and the doors opened while Chris was talking.

“They’ll be competing all around the globe for another million dollars! So let’s meet our brand new players.” The camera focused on the bus, and the contestants started walking out one by one.

Chris started to say their names while they were walking out. “Anastasia! Marissa! Benji! Hannah! Nataliaaa!” The five walked out of the bus, and Anastasia bumped into Benji.

“Oh, sorry! My bad!” Benji panicked and tried to apologize to her.

“Ugh! Are you stupid? Why did you stop, you–”

Hannah decided to help Benji and interrupted Anastasia. “Hey, how about we calm down? He was minding his own business.”

She glared at Hannah, annoyed, and walked past her, bumping her in the shoulder before positioning herself next to Marissa.

“Thanks, I’m not the best at communicating to girls–” Benji thanked Hannah and chuckled.

“It’s okay; some people need to be called out on their behavior anyway.” She glared at Anastasia and rolled her eyes.

“I’m Benji!”

“Hannah. Nice to meet you, Benji!” She shook his hand and stood next to him.

“Come ooooon! Move it; I want to explore the world!” Natalia said with excitement.

Chris moved on to the other contestants. “Ivy!”

She walked out, blowing a kiss at the camera.

“Richard! Logan and… Ted!”

Logan walked out, comforting Richard. “It’s okay! It won’t be that bad. I fly all the time!”

“Out of every show, why did I choose this one!?” Richard yelled in fear.

Ted rolled his eyes. “Oh, come on, you’re like twice as old as the ginger, and you are scared to fly? Mind you, this is the safest way to travel, and–”

“Aw, geez, can you shut it! I couldn’t get any sleep while we were traveling. How is a sweet old lady like me supposed to get her vacation with you on board?” A short, blonde, elderly woman walked out of the bus.

“And we also have with us Lynda, Jade, and–” Before Chris could finish his sentence he got interrupted.

“Ahh, the beauty of nature and our planet! I am so excited to see what will fulfill my soul and hear what the beauty of life will say to me during this amazing tour of the world!” A middle-aged man with shoulder-length hair and a quite big mustache walked out of the bus, looking around the airport.

“Can you move already! I can’t breath in this cheap bus!” A middle-aged, bossy woman pushed the man out of her way and walked out of the bus with a wheeled suitcase.

“And this is Amelie!” He pointed out before ignoring the man and moving to the next person. “Also coming in this season is Zaid!” He walked out of the bus waving at the cameras before tripping on the guy and falling down.

“Making their way into this season too is Tristan!” They walked out of the bus and gently dodged Zaid and the man on the floor.

“Excuse me, sorry!” They walked over to the rest and stood next to Benji and Ivy.

“Uhm, excuse me. I think you forgot about me!” The man got up and spoke.

“Right.. And Alessio, I guess.” Chris rolled his eyes and told Alessio and Zaid to go stand to the others with hand gestures.

“Next in line is the academic nerd, Spencer!”

“I joined your bonkers show, and I get called a nerd in return? Wow, aren’t you classy, McLean?” He rolled his eyes and walked over to the rest.

“Well, I guess I am not his cup of tea!” Chris laughed at his own joke while getting stared at by the others. “Next we have Diego, a tourist guide that can probably communicate with the plane rats!”

“I’m a guide, not some type of whisperer.” He let out a nervous chuckle and looked at Chris.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever floats your boat.” He shooed him away from the bus.

“Anyway, last but not least, we have an innocent and sweet nun who is here for who knows what reason, Isabel!”

She walked out of the bus and did the sign of the cross with her hand. “Hello, everyone! I’m glad to meet you, and I pray to Jesus we shall stay safe during our time here!”

Ted looked in confusion. “What is a nun doing here in the first place? Isn’t this a little…. Not your type of thing?”

“I’m doing it for my own reasons and to help out anyone in need with the money once I win.” She smiled and walked to the group.

Jade scoffed and mumbled. “More like, if you win.”

Spencer looked at Jade with a grin.

Ivy looked around. “Excuse me, Chris? Where is the plane? Also, can I get first class since I’m a… star?” She looked proud after clarifying herself as a “star.”

“And who are you again?” Amelie raised her eyebrow before breaking Ivy’s fantasies.

“Ivy Berki, famous Hungarian act–” She got interrupted by the heavy, rusty sound of the plane arriving.

The plane was driven by Chef. It looked very old and had rust all over it. It was letting a few exhaust gasses out of itself, and it looked poorly made. The wheels were very squeaky, and it had a giant sticker of Chris’ face on the side. Once it stopped, a few bolts fell from it.

“Is that… safe? I think you need to double-check it.” Marissa asked with concern.

“Yeah, more like triple-check.” Lynda scoffed.

“Relax, it’s perfectly safe!” Chris said before a part of the plane fell off that it revealed a raccoon was hiding inside the plane.

“Now boarding!” Chris yelled with excitement.

“I CAN’T GET ON THAT!? I HAVE A FAMILY, A WHOLE LIFE IN FRONT OF ME! GET ME OUT OF HERE, GET ME OUT OF HERE! I’M CALLING A CAB TO GET ME HO–” Richard started screaming from fear before Chris smashed him in the head with a pan, knocking him unconscious.

“Oh, that’s got to hurt–” Tristan said, worried about Richard.

“Anyone else got a problem with it?” Chris asked, holding the pan.

The contestants started glazing the plane once Chris asked them.

“Now boarding on a voyage to a million big ones!” He threw the pan and faced the camera, pointing at it. “We’re saving you a first-class seat for all the action, right here! On Total… Drama… World Tour!”

“Seriously?” Jade uttered.

[Theme song]

Chris and the contestants walked in the plane. They were in the dining area, and it looked just as bad as it looked on the outside.

“So… when are we heading off to our first destination?” Diego asked out of curiosity.

“Yeah, I want the money as fast as possible, so let’s get out of here.” Ted crossed his arms and backed up Diego, annoyed.

“Forget that, do we get any food, or are those tables just for decor?” Zaid looked at Chris, waiting for an answer.

“Oh, can we visit Paris? Or maybe Rome? I would love to go there!” Ivy offered.

“If we do, we might as well throw you out of the plane then.” Jade rolled her eyes.

Ivy gasped and crossed her arms. “Well, excuse you!”

“Why are you doing this to us? All of us thought this was going to be some fancy plane, not… this.” Logan asked, upset.

“No, I never said anything about a fancy plane. This is something all of you thought when coming here, but it shows you’ve not seen the last 2 seasons.”

They started complaining before Chris cut them off.

“Anywho, this is the dining area! Where you’ll enjoy in-flight meals.” He glanced at Zaid.

“I have a feeling the in-flight meals won’t be so good.” Zaid uttered in slight disgust.

“Well, I am sure most won’t need it because half of the people here are complaining over small things and will probably be gone in no time.” Amelie said while looking at her nails.

“Not trying to be rude or anything, but are you this mean naturally, or do you get it from your parents?” Hannah asked as nicely as possible.

“Excusez-Moi!? What are you implying?!” She asked, insisting on an answer.

Hannah moved away from Amelie. “Nothing, just asking.”

Amelie scoffed. “For your information, I am stronger, faster, and smarter than you are!”

“And more chatty, blabby, and can’t-shut-up-y. Now zip it and let me finish the tour so we can get this bird in flight!”

Amelie was mocking him while he was talking.

“Uh, excuse me? Is there a ladies room?” Lynda asked Chris nicely.

“Just through there!” He pointed behind him.

“Uff da! I will be back very soon; don’t finish without me!” She walked over to the bathroom.

[Confession: Lynda]

She entered the bathroom and looked at the mirror. “There’s a camera in the potty!? Oh, geez, can’t have a woman live a little.” She walked out and shut the door behind her.

[Confession: Ends]

After Lynda returned, the contestants were gathered all together in the economy class.

“The losing team will enjoy luxurious economy class accommodations between destinations!” Chris was explaining to them while showing off the economy class.

“Right, okay, but where are our beds? How am I supposed to have my beauty sleep?” Natalia asked, concerned about her looks.

“Richard over here can demonstrate!” Chris pointed towards Richard being strapped by safety harnesses by his arms, still unconscious.

“That does not look comfortable.” Ivy voiced her concerns with the sleeping positions.

“No comfort for losers! Safety harnesses and an emergency exit, but no comfort here, here, or here!” Chris pointed out and laughed.

Logan pointed at Richard. “Uh, is he going to be okay? I’m worried for the guy.”

Anastasia cut Logan off. “Yeah, yeah, let’s move on to the winners compartment. I want to see my motivation for winning the challenges.”

Lynda rolled her eyes. “Gee, I wish I also didn’t care about anyone as much as this one doesn’t.” She muttered to herself before Anastasia glanced at her.

The cameras cut to the first-class compartment. “This is the first-class cabin, the domain of each week's winners!”

Diego sat down on one of the chairs and let out a relaxed sigh. “Now this is the type of accommodation we deserve!”

Logan sat next to him. “I agree! Too bad we won’t be here every day!”

“Speak about yourself, amigo!” He chuckled and closed his eyes to relax.

“Don’t get too comfortable, you guys; you never know what can happen!” Marissa joined in with a little joke.

Logan let out a sarcastic laugh. “Ha ha, how bad can you be to not win a single challenge?”

Benji was looking around the first class. “Is this real gold!?”

Jade heard him say that and approached him with her hand on her hip. “You know this is just golden paint used to make the chairs look fancy.”

Alessio also approached the two and joined in. “And it doesn’t even look good! What a shameful way to express your art, by cheap paint.”

Benji got curious. “Are you an expert?”

“An expert? I’m the best of the best! My paintings are worldwide known!”

Jade raised her eyebrow. “Really? Name one.”

“Ocean’s Heaven, I’m sure you’ve–”

“Never heard of it.” Jade shrugged and walked away.

“Tough crowd.” Benji said, trying to cheer the mood.

[Confession: Benji]

He was sitting in the pilot’s cockpit, where Chef was driving in the back. “I don’t think a lot of people like me. I mean, there is Hannah, but she only defended me against Anastasia, so I’m not really confident yet.”

“The girl’s nice; you’ve got to try and befriend her, man.” Chef pitched in.

“Uhm, I’m trying to vent here if you don’t mind. As I was saying, besides Hannah, maybe Alessio could be another friend of mine; I'm not too sure about Jade yet. She’s a bit-”

“Too serious for your taste?”

“Seriously, why are you eavesdropping?”

“Boy, I’m trying to get this plane somewhere; you’re the one interrupting.”

[Confession: End]

Tristan and Zaid were in a fancy room with a grand piano, a wood-burning pizza oven, and a four-person hot tub with LED lights and dancing waters.

“Woah, where are we now? This place looks amazing!” Wow, Tristan said, amazed by the room.

“How do we get to be in this room, Chris? Eating pizza while having the time of my life in a hot tub is a dream come true!” Zaid asked with curiosity and excitement in his voice.

Chris walked up to him and pushed him away from the hot tub. “Easy, tiger. These are my quarters. And they’re off limits! Clear?” He responded angrily to the two of them.

Tristan looked disappointed. “Aww, man...”

Zaid patted Tristan on the shoulder, and the two of them left.

[Confession: Isabel]

“After observing most of the people here, my smartest choice for an alliance would probably be Marissa, Natalia, Jade, and maybe Anastasia. Lynda and Amelie seem too bossy to align with and I heard Hannah hasn’t seen anything of the show, so she won’t be very…. Great of a choice for an ally if you know what I mean.”

[Confession: End]

Back at the dining area.

“And that’s pretty much it!” Chris said. “I skipped the cargo hold and galley, but I’m sure you’ll find these exciting destinations later when I ‘accidentally’ lock you in them.”

The plane shook, and Anastasia fell in Marissa's lap. “Woah!”

“Are you okay, Ana?” She asked her in concern, but Anastasia just stared at her.

“Oh, sorry, is it too early for nicknames?” Marissa made sure to apologize, but Anastasia’s smile showed she didn’t mind.

“I’m okay, thanks–”

Natalia chuckled. “Not even trying to hide it, huh?” She mumbled.

“One more thing. I’m sure you remember a little something called “the elimination ceremony,” which takes place right in there, my friends.” Chris pointed before the cameras cut to them at the elimination ceremony area.

“If you don’t receive a barf bag full of airline-issued peanuts–”

“What if one of us is allergic? Don’t you think this is a bit poor organization on your part?” Ivy remarked, trying to make a good impression on the others.

Chris rolled his eyes and spoke. “You will be forced to take the drop of shame.”

“No, but she is right. I mean, when I was little, I used to ha–” Benji started speaking before Chris grabbed him by the shirt and threw him off the plane.

“Like this!”

Benji rolled on the ground and got up in a hurry. “Hey, Chris! I was joking, wait! Stop the plane! Chris! Chef!? Anyone! Wait for me!” He was chasing after the plane.

Back in the plane, Hannah looked at Chris mad.

“What? I had to demonstrate.” He smiled before the camera cut to the plane traveling.

Cameras cut back to the contestants in the dining area.

“Every second we’re getting closer to adventure and further from home.” Zaid said with sadness in his voice.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. I finally get the deserved vacation I needed from my kids and husband.” Lynda responded with a smile.

Richard had awoken by now and was also with them. “But won’t you miss them? They are your family.”

“Well, I will, but sometimes being a housewife gets tiring. I’m a sucker for reality shows, so I wanted to try out and see how far I get!”

“Me personally, I barely get any time to watch any shows; heck, I’ve not even seen the first 2 seasons of this show.” Hannah said after hearing what Lynda said.

“Good, they are a waste of valuable time, not to mention absolute bollocks.” Spencer responded to Hannah’s statement.

Chris walked up to the contestants. “Wow, you guys are truly boring. Nothing better to talk about?”

“Do I need to remind you this is our first time together? What do you expect?” Ted asked.

Suddenly the speaker in the plane turned on, and Chef was on it. “Get ready because we are landing soon.”

“Well–”

Chris got interrupted by Chef on the speaker. “About dang time, this plane smells like mold. Chris really needs to start seeking some help from the producers because this show will die sooner or later. What an idiot.” He then realized the speaker was still on. “Oh, sh-” It cut off.

Chris didn’t look very happy about what he heard: “We will be right back.” The cameras cut.

The cameras cut to the plane already landed in Giza, Egypt. The contestants were standing in the sand while waiting for Chris, who arrived carried by his interns with a drink in hand.

“You guys ready for a little fun, huh?” The interns stopped in front of the contestants. “Wow, it’s a scorcher out here, huh?” He took a sip out of his drink. ”I call today’s challenge ‘Pyramid Over Under!’”

“Are you kidding me!? After a 3-hour-long bus trip!” Lynda spoke up.

“And an 11-hour flight!” Richard also added to her complaints.

“And Chef’s questionable cuisine.” Zaid joined in too.

“Now a challenge too? You can’t be for real.” Jade concluded.

“Don’t you love this game!” Chris said while getting fanned by one of his interns with a big leaf.

The cameras cut to the contestants lined up next to each other at a starting point and Chris standing in front of them. All of the contestants were sweating and complaining.

“I feel like I’m being cooked alive on a grill.” Logan mumbled under his breath.

“Hmm, I don’t know, hun; I feel fine!” Natalia said with sunglasses on and two handheld fans in her hands.

“W-Where did you get that from!?” Ivy asked her, trying to be close to the cold wind from the fans.

“A girl’s always supposed to be ready in case she gets stuck in a desert, you get what I’m saying?”

Ivy was staring at her, confused. “N-No? Not really.”

Richard walked up to her. “Mind if I get one?”

Natalia thought about it for a bit and gave him one of the fans. “I suppose so!”

Ivy scoffed and crossed her arms.

Chris hit two golden cymbals together, scaring the contestants and stopping them from talking. “Man! That’s satisfying!” He grinned. “Alright, Pyramid Over Under means you choose how to get to the finish line. Either over or under the pyramid, got it?”

They all nodded their heads. “Ready.” The contestants took positions to start running. “Set!”

“Wait, hold on!” Benji ran in and crossed the starting point. “Sorry, Chris, I was in the bathroom; you almost forgot me!”

Chris looked surprised. “Didn’t we leave you back at the airport…?”

“Yeah, I helped him get up afterwards.” Hannah backed Benji up. “Not cool to throw him off like that!”

“Wow, it’s really obvious you’ve never seen the show.” He rolled his eyes. “Set!” He hit the cymbals together again, this time in Benji’s face. “Go!”

All of them started running towards the pyramid, either in or over it.

The cameras cut to the inside of the pyramid and three hallways leading to different parts of it. The first one had a picture of the Ankh, the second one seemed to have a scarab, and the third one a mummy.

“Oh, bloody hell, what is this!?” Spencer spoke up, annoyed by the different paths.

“Ahem, language. The Lord is watching.” Isabel walked up to him.

He just took a quick glance at her before focusing on the paths again.

Lynda walked in front of the group. “Personally, I think one of the boys should go first.”

“Yeah, right, why should I follow your instructions?” Ted crossed his arms and asked her.

“Aren’t you gentlemen? You should always consider ladies first.”

“Well, in that case, ladies first then.” He grinned and pointed at the hallways.

Amelie walked over to the second path, sure in her decision. “Oh, please, you two are acting like some scaredy little kitties. Just follow me; my intuition is always correct.”

Ted and Lynda shrugged and followed Amelie.

Ivy looked at the paths one more time. “I’m going through the first one! Gold is always good, and so is first place!” Ivy started walking.

Zaid thought about it and followed after her. “Wait up!”

They were also followed by Tristan and Spencer.

While Isabel was deciding, the others also arrived.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Jade said.

“What are you thinking about, Isabel?” Natalia questioned the nun who was doubting which path to take.

“Well… no one has gone through the third path yet… So I might just go there.” She responded to Natalia.

“Okay, girly! I will come with you!” The two left through the third pathway, and Richard decided to follow after them as well.

As for Benji, Jade, and Alessio, they were still deciding on which one to go for.

Meanwhile, over the pyramid were Anastasia, Marissa, Hannah, Diego, and Logan.

“Is it too late to go under?” Logan asked after seeing how huge the pyramid is.

Marissa bumped him in the shoulder with a smile. “Come on, look how great Diego and Hannah are doing!”

Diego and Hannah were climbing the pyramid slowly so they wouldn’t get tired, while talking.

“Didn’t take you for a climb-type of gal.” Diego laughed.

“Well, I’ve got my set of skills too, you know!” She grinned, followed by a chuckle.

“Got personal experience?”

“Not really, just an athletic girl, I suppose! And you?”

“Well, as a tour guide I get to do a lot of things, and climbing is one of them, whether it’s mountains or a pile of all-natural cow–”

“Okay, don’t finish that!” The two of them laughed and continued climbing.

The cameras shot back to Logan, Marissa, and Anastasia still trying to figure out a way to make it faster.

“Okay, we can’t keep thinking we have to start climbing; hurry up.” Anastasia climbed the first block but almost fell over. “See, that wasn’t so hard.”

Logan chuckled. “Yeah, definitely not.”

Marissa looked at the sand and saw a rope. She picked it up and noticed it’s really long. “What if we use this? We can just pull each other so if one gets stuck, the other two can get them up.”

Anastasia gave Marissa a thumbs-up, and the three of them tied themselves with the rope.

The cameras cut back to the inside of the pyramid, focusing on Natalia, Richard and Isabel who took the mummy path.

As the three were walking, Natalia decided to break the awkward silence. “Sooo, how is it going so far?” She asked out of curiosity.

“Oh, well, I really like it. The other contestants are mostly nice. Also, I know you think me being on the show is bad, but come on, not all of us are here to be mean towards others.” She shared with Natalia.

“Girl, don’t worry, I think you’re slaying it, and I love the cause of why you joined the show. Pop off, queen!” Natalia put her arm on Isabel’s shoulder and smiled at her.

Richard laughed. “I wish I had your confidence when I was your age, girls. Now I’m just an old fart!”

“Aww, Richard, don’t say that. If it helps, you’re my favorite old person I’ve seen on reality TV.” She chuckled and winked at him.

“…Thanks?” Richard said in confusion.

Isabel smiled before stopping in front of a pile of bandages. She picked them up and looked at them carefully. “These are mummy bandages.”

“Well, duh! We’re in a pyramid. But don’t the bandages come with, uh… A mummy?” Natalia glanced at Isabel before hearing a strange noise.

From the hallway behind them, they heard mummy noises and footsteps.

Richard started running. “RUN, IT’S COMING!”

Isabel was frozen in fear and praying to the Lord, and Natalia just snatched her. “GIRL, RUN!”

The three ran away, and from the hallway Benji walked up to where they just left from, giggling. “Oh, that was awesome!”

Jade just smiled a bit and continued walking. “Come on, let’s go.”

Alessio stopped for a bit to look at the bandages. He picked one up and lifted his glasses from his eyes. “Ahh, this is perfection. The old and dusty bandages used for wrapping mummified corpses to preserve their bodies for the afterlife and give them a lifelike form.”

Jade groaned. “Alessio, let’s go! Enough with the art.”

“So ungrateful.” He muttered before following after Benji and Jade.

Back to the outside, where Hannah and Diego had just made it to the top of the pyramid.

“Phew, that was quite the exercise.” Hannah said before sitting down for a break.

“Are you going to rest a bit? Don’t you want to win?” Diego asked her while also taking a bit of a break.

“I think I will wait a bit. There’s no one there yet, plus I am beat as heck! A 5-minute break won’t hurt.” She answered him and chuckled.

“Well, take as much time as you need; I will start heading down! It was nice talking to you, Hannah.” He shook her hand and started heading down the pyramid.

Meanwhile, Logan, Anastasia, and Marissa were almost at the top too.

“Come on, Logan! Get your butt up here!” Anastasia yelled at him, waiting for Logan to climb over a block.

“I’m– trying!” He said, exhausted from all the  climbing.

Anastasia grunted and crossed her arms while Marissa was giggling a bit.

The cameras switched over to the people that went through the hallway with the symbol of the Ankh.

“This is so cool! I’ve always wanted to visit the inside of a pyramid!” Tristan said while looking around, excited.

“You know, I’ve auditioned for a few plays that were themed around pyramids and Egypt!” Ivy mentioned to Tristan and the others that were with her that she was trying to impress them.

“Really? Wow, what were they about?” They asked Ivy, curious about her roles.

“Well–” While Ivy was walking, she stepped on a tile on the floor that activated a trap. Multiple arrows were shot at the 4 of them, and while Tristan and Spencer noticed them, Zaid had to push over Ivy so she wouldn’t get hit.

“Oops! Didn’t see that, sorry guys!” Ivy apologized and got up.

“Be more careful next time.” Zaid chuckled and got up as well.

“You know what? I am continuing alone; this bloke will kill us by the time we get out. See you later, lads.” Spencer walked by them and continued on his own.

“I get the feeling he doesn’t like us that much…” Tristan said, worried about Spencer.

“You know what? That’s on him; the more, the merrier!” Ivy said, pissed off about what had just happened.

Outside the pyramid, Hannah had already started going down, and Anastasia, Marissa, and Logan had finally made it to the top.

Marissa looked down and saw the finish line. “Okay, we are almost there! We just have to go down now.”

Anastasia chuckled. “Easy as pie.”

“...Right.” Logan climbed the last block and fell face first on top of the pyramid.

The cameras cut to Amelie, Lynda, and Ted running through the scarab hallway.

“See, I told you I’m always right; this is the perfect path. No traps, no annoying people.”

“Well, besides you.” Lynda mumbled.

“Excusez-moi!?” Amelie suddenly stopped and gasped at what Lynda said.

“Oh, don’t take it to heart, sweetie. I was just messing around.”

“Hey, can we move? We’re so close to escaping this maze.” Ted spoke.

“Yeah, come on, you’re wasting time.” Lynda said, trying to move but getting blocked by Amelie.

“You’re trying to disrespect me, and I am protecting myself. I don’t see the bad in that.” Amelie raised her eyebrow and put her hands on her hips.

“SERIOUSLY, LET’S MOVE. WE DON’T HAVE ALL DAY!” Ted shouted, angered by the two women.

“Aw, geez, people nowadays can’t take a joke. Do you really expect me to respect you if you don’t have a sense of humor?” Lynda grinned and rolled her eyes.

Suddenly the sound of a thousand tiny legs could be heard crawling on the floor, the walls, and the ceiling. Everywhere. There were scarabs coming for the three of them.

“OH NO, NO, NO, NO. I AM NOT BECOMING A MUMMY.” Ted grabbed Amelie and Lynda and started running.

“Scarabs don’t turn you into a mummy, idiote!” Amelie corrected him.

Cameras cut back to Natalia, Richard and Isabel still running and screaming for their lives.

“WAS THAT A REAL MUMMY!?” Natalia yelled in fear.

“I DON’T KNOW, BUT IT SOUNDED LIKE ONE.” Isabel answered before bumping into Spencer.

“Ow! Are you blind or something?” Spencer turned around to see what hit him.

Isabel fell on the floor, and Natalia and Richard helped her up.

“Spencer? What are you doing here? Didn’t you take the Ankh path with Ivy, Zaid, and Tristan?” Richard asked him.

“Well, at first yeah, but Ivy got on my nerves so I left them and–”

“Ended up going in circles? Been there before.” Natalia cut him off and basically finished what he was about to say.

“Don’t worry you can walk with us, we should be pretty close.” Isabel said, making him an offer.

Spencer shrugged, and the four of them just continued to walk forward.

Back at the top of the pyramid, the three were thinking about how to make it down in the safest way possible.

“Well, we can try to hold the rope while one of us just goes down?” Marissa offered.

“But how will the person holding the rope get down after that?” Anastasia asked.

In the meantime, Logan got up, and before he could do anything, the guy fell over, and the rope tied around his waist untied, and he just started falling down while hitting every single block.

“LOGAN!” Marissa yelled as she and Anastasia watched him falling down.

Hannah heard the sound of something falling down, and when she looked back, she saw Logan coming towards her. She moved out of the way, and Logan continued falling, hitting Diego in the meantime.

“What the–” Hannah looked at Anastasia and Marissa, who were as confused as she was.

Meanwhile, at the finish line. Ted, Lynda, and Amelie ran out of the pyramid and crossed the finish line.

Chris looked at them and smiled. “Good work, guys!”

Lynda spat out a scarab and looked around. “We’re first!?”

Ted also looked around and smiled. “WE’RE FIRST!”

Chris pointed behind where he was standing. “Go stand behind the number one!”

Amelie smiled proudly. “Told you I’m always right.”

Back inside the pyramid, Ivy, Tristan, and Zaid were running away from a giant rolling ball made out of metal.

“I’M TOO BEAUTIFUL TO DIE!” Ivy noted.

“JUST KEEP RUNNING!” Tristan yelled out.

Zaid noticed a small crack. “IN HERE!” He grabbed the two of them, and they hid in the crack for the ball. “Phew.”

Ivy hugged him. “Oh, my savior!”

Zaid chuckled nervously, and Tristan raised their eyebrow with a smile on their face.

Meanwhile, Benji, Jade, and Alessio were still trying to find their way out.

“So, do you like any comics?” Benji asked Jade.

“I suppose I like a few, but I am not too focused on them that much.” She responded and saw his eyes lighten up.

“Really!?” Which ones do you like? Tell meeeeee!” He asked, wanting to learn more about her.

“I do like–” As Jade was about to answer, she noticed Alessio was gone. “Where did Alessio go!?”

Benji looked behind them. “He was just here!?” The two glanced at each other and ran back to where they came from to find Alessio.

On the outside, Logan and Diego finally arrived on the ground with a few bruises. Diego got up and ran to the finish line, crossing it, and Logan got up from the ground, spitting a bunch of sand before also crossing the finish line.

From the top of the pyramid, Anastasia and Marissa broke a sign that was placed on top of the pyramid and got on top of it like a sled, then started sliding off.

Ivy, Tristan, and Zaid finally got out of the pyramid and ran towards the finish line.

“Come on, you guys first!” Zaid said, making way for Ivy and Tristan.

“Aww, thanks, Zaid.” Ivy crossed the finish line, and before Tristan could, they got stopped by Chris.

“Not so fast.” He put his hand in the way. “This season… three teams!” Chris showed 3 fingers on his hand to symbolize the three teams.

Chris put his arms around Zaid and Tristan, who stared at him confused. “Since you let Ivy cross before the two of you, she rounds out team number one. Tristan and Zaid, you will be the first members of team number two!”

Ivy looked upset. “Aww, good luck, you guys!” She waved at the two of them.

Chris ignored Ivy’s comment and went back to the two of them standing in front of him. “If it’s any consolation, you do get.” He pointed at Marissa and Anastasia running over Hannah right before she jumped out of the last block and hit the sand face first.

“Oof, sorry Hannah!” Marissa yelped before crossing the finish line with Anastasia.

Anastasia walked up to Zaid and Tristan. “So we are on the same team, huh?”

Tristan smiled. “Looks about right!” They tried to shake Anastasia's hand, but she ignored them politely.

Chris pointed out the pyramid’s exit. “And you also get.” Isabel and Spencer ran out of the pyramid, followed by Natalia.

“Wait, guys–!” She pants. “Cardio isn’t really in my top 5.” She rested her arm on the pyramid before walking over to the finish line.

Richard walked out of the pyramid behind Natalia and fell on the ground. “Mine neither.”

“Natalia and Richard, you’re on team 3; hope you’re happy!” Chris grinned at them, and she looked at him with annoyance in her eyes.

[Confession: Natalia]

“I spend my whole afternoon with Isabel just for the two of us to end up on separate teams? Chris, you’ve aged like a fine wine, but this is not your brightest moment.” She put on lip lipgloss before the confessional ended.

[Confession: End]

Hannah finally got up and walked over to the finish line with her tongue out covered in sand. “I didn’t like this challenge.”

After she crossed the finish line, Benji and Jade came out of the pyramid, dragging Alessio on the floor.

He broke free from their grip and stood up. “Let me go! It’s not my fault your brains cannot comprehend the beautiful art expressed in ancient writings and paintings.”

“You were slowing us down!” Jade poked him in the chest, visibly upset.

Hannah walked over to Benji and offered him a fist bump. “Looks like we’re on the same team, Benj!”

Benji looked at her in excitement. “Hannah! Oh, I’m so relieved!”

The two exchanged fist bumps and stood by the others on their team.

“So, three teams this time around, huh?” Jade pointed out after seeing the three groups.

Isabel whispered something to Marissa, and she nodded with a smile. Anastasia got curious but decided not to bring it up for now.

[Confession: Marissa]

“Okay, Isabel just offered me an alliance with her, me and Anastasia. This might be very out of the blue, but if this is gonna help me stay in longer, I’m afraid this is my best chance of doing so.”

[Confession: End]

Amelie looked at the other teams and grinned. “Our team might be the best one here.” She mumbled.

“Oh, yeah? What makes you think that?” Lynda asked her.

“Don’t you see? We’ve got brains, muscles, and even an actress on our team. We can dominate everyone!”

“Sorry to interrupt, but no need to jinx us right off the bat—” Ivy joined in and added.

Ted glanced at her and rolled his eyes.

Spencer raised his hand. “And what now? We did your bonkers challenge; what’s next?”

“Okay, teams! Talk amongst yourselves and determine a team name! You have three minutes!” He showed the number three with his hand again. “While I enjoy this ice cream cone.” Chris said after pulling an ice cream cone from behind his back.

Amelie, Lynda, Ted, Ivy, Diego, and Logan were discussing how to name their team, and after being first and most of them being successful and good at what they do, they came up with the name. “Team Victory!”

Team Victory’s icon was a trophy that was in the color gold.

The team with Anastasia, Marissa, Zaid, Spencer, Isabel, and Tristan was thinking of something more exotic and unique; in the end, they settled on one all of them were fine with. “Team Amazon!”

Team Amazon’s icon was the female symbol in a color close to magenta.

The last team was discussing it; they were trying to come up with something original, not boring, and also something that describes their team.

Natalia suddenly smiled and announced their team name. “I got it! Team Chris is really, really, really, really hot!”

“WHAT?” They all said in confusion.

Team Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot’s icon was Chris’ face, and it was in the color blue.

“Alright! Best team name EVER!” Chris gave their team name a thumbs-up. He then pointed behind himself. “And here are your rewards!”

He pointed at Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot. “Team Chris is Really REALLY Really Really  REALLY Hot, you win a camel!”

They gasped and were shocked that they won such a good reward.

“Team Amazon, you win a goat!” After Chris announced Team Amazon’s price, the goat charged and hit Spencer in the kiwis.

“C-Check…mate.” He fell over on the ground.

“And Team Victory, here you go!” Chris was holding a stick.

“Hold on, the losers get gold, and we get… bronze?” Logan said, disappointed. “That sucks, maaaaan!”

“All will be explained! If I feel like it.” Chris responded before pointing at the camera. “Next time! Right here! On Total… Drama… World Tour!”

Quick summary of the teams:

Team Victory - Amelie, Diego, Ivy, Logan, Lynda, Ted

Team Amazon - Anastasia, Isabel, Marissa, Spencer, Tristan, Zaid

Team Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot - Alessio, Benji, Hannah, Jade, Richard, Natalia

Notes:

Okay, this was the first episode. I personally enjoyed it and think I got most of the characters close to their originals (this is my first time ever writing for them). I really hope you enjoyed this first episode, and I will get the second out as soon as possible.

In the meantime, let me know what your expectations are of the seasons going forward and who you think will be the first boot!

See you guys soon!
