Chapter Text
It’s not easy being one of the most famous K-pop idols globally, especially if you’re Jennie Kim, one of the renowned K-pop stars of her generation. While she’s loved by millions of fans around the world, it’s normal for her to have haters. However, what’s not normal is for them to take extreme measures to try to endanger her life. There was one incident where a fan almost did something to her, which scared her to the point that she considered staying in her house for a while. This made her fans miss her, and she felt guilty, but she was doing it for her safety.
Right now, Jennie is at her house, a bit bored, as she hasn’t been outside in a while after someone tried to attack her for supposedly dating their idol. That wasn’t true, as Jennie has never even met the guy, but those crazy people won’t listen or care about that. At the moment, she sat down and played with her dog, Kuma. As she watched TV, she then heard a knock at her door, which meant there was a visitor. She decided to check who it was and sighed with relief when she saw it was just her best friend, Kim Jisoo, who is a very famous actress and singer. She opened the door for her so she could enter her house.
When Jisoo entered the house, she stared at Jennie. “What, you think I was a sasaeng? Like no one knows where you live anyway?” was the first thing she said, and Jennie smiled at her sadly. “Sorry, Jisoo, I was just paranoid, I guess,” Jennie told Jisoo, who looked at her with pity. “Don’t worry, Jendeuk, I understand,” she told her. “So what are you doing here other than visiting me?” was Jennie’s question to Jisoo. “Oh yeah, I’m here to help you with your problem,” she revealed to Jennie, who looked interested. “Remember the effective bodyguards I had back then?” Jisoo said, and Jennie remembered those guys; they were truly effective in protecting her. “Yeah, they were referred by Rosé, right?” Jennie said as she remembered the lawyer Park Chaeyoung, also known as Rosé, who Jisoo is secretly dating and who also helped Jisoo find efficient bodyguards to protect her.
Jisoo nodded at what Jennie said. “Hearing about what happened to you, she told me that she wants to help you,” Jisoo revealed to Jennie. “I’m amazed she has connections to that bodyguard agency,” Jennie noted. “Oh, it’s because her best friend runs the agency; that’s why she can do that,” Jisoo explained to Jennie, who was impressed by her. “Okay, I’ll give her a call,” she then said, and after that, the two decided to hang out at Jennie’s home. The next day, Jennie called Rosé, and they started talking about it. “I’ll tell the CEO, who’s my friend, to help you with this. I’ll give you her number,” she told Jennie. “Thank you, Chaeng,” she said to Rosé, and after that, the conversation ended.
