"I'm going out tonight," Aerith announces.
Something flickers in Tseng's expression. He's used to her making it as difficult as possible for him to keep an eye, not to declare herself ahead of time.
"I got invited to a celebration at the bar," she continues without prompting, "Guess I'll find a boy there to dance with."
Tseng scoffs. Now he understands, it's just a set-up to wear on him—
"—Unless I'm already bringing someone."
