You wake up to banging on your front door. You let out a groan and rolled over in bed, hoping the banging would stop soon. … It didn’t, if anything the banging got louder till it stopped completely. After a few minutes of quiet, the front door is slammed open and you hear stomping coming up the stairs to your room. The door is (rudely) slammed opened. You suddenly felt a huge weight on top of me.
“Lettie? What time is it? I thought you were at Toge’s for the night? Get off me dude. If it’s before ten then it’s too early for this.”
You heard a sigh and felt some of the weight roll over next to you while the rest stayed on top of you. “No it’s not Lettie. Don’t think she’s home. Saw her location still at the boys place. But I brought a friend who wanted to ask something!”
You felt the other person get off of me and stand at the foot of my bed. “Yuji Itadori! Nice to meet you!” You sit up with my blanket pooling around you at your waist. You look at him up and down and glance over to Nobara, who’s sitting real nice and pretty on your bed.
“What time is it?” you ask while stretching my arms above your head. “Like 8:30. Why? Got something planned?” she leaned into your face with a look on her face. “Yea. More sleep. Now out. Both y’all.” you slump back down and pull the covers over your face.
“Waiiit-“ she starts pulling at your covers while Yuji just watches, confused and thinking maybe he should have thought a little bit more before asking some random girl from his class for help.
“He didn’t get to say what he wanted to say. Come on! Yuji pick her up.” “Yuji don’t pick me up!” you start kicking my legs to make sure he can’t grab you. “Oh.. um so like do I grab her or like?” “What do y’all want?” you say, your voice muffled from being under the covers.
“Well Yuji here heard about the battle of the bands and wanted in on a group.” Oh right. Battle of the bands. Something you’re pretty sure Lettie and Nobara signed y’all up for without even asking you or Maki if we wanted to even do it. Heard there was a cash prize tho so better be worth it.
“And how do y'all expect me to help?” You finally get out from under the cover and sit up. You look at Yuji and motion for him to sit at your vanity chair. When he doesn't, you motion for your bed and he sits down happily. “So do you play anything or you more of a singer?” you ask him as you get up from bed and go to my mirror. You start undoing your hair from its braid and start brushing it out.
“Um, I can play the drums and maybe the bass if I really tried. I kinda have the basics of guitar. It’s the same thing right?” he looks at Nobara who’s just lying on her stomach on her phone. “Did she bring you here first or have you gone anywhere else before?” You walk over to your closet.
“Um like another group wise? Cus no. All she said is ‘I know just the person’ and brought me here. Or told me to meet her at this cafe, we talked a bit and then we came over here.” You look through your shirts.
“Well sorry to say it hun but we’ve already got our drummer. She’s at her boy toy’s house at the moment though.” “Boy toy?” “Her boyfriend dumbass.” “Nobara, be nice to him. Poor boy doesn’t know what he got himself into by talking to you. Should I wear this or something else?” You pull out a pink halter top. “Jeans or leggings? Oh! I have skirts too!” “Leggings. Do you have those wedges? The ones with little flowers on them. The brown ones. Those would look cute.” “Ooo wait yea.” You turn to look at him as you throw the shirt onto your bed between them and open up your drawer.
“Have you tried Yuta’s group? I’m pretty sure Toge wants to sign them up for the battle of the bands thing but Fushiguro said they shouldn’t since they don’t have someone for drums. Something like that I think.”
Nobara shot up from where she was lying down “Oh my god you’re right! Ugh, I remember now. Yuta was talking about it to Toge who told Lettie who told me. That’s why we signed up for it. We should ask Fushiguro!” You get your shirt from the bed and make your way to the closet “Don’t bother. It’s Saturday at 8:30 something in the morning. No ways he’s gonna be free. He's either with Gojo and Geto or at the clinic helping the animals there, or the dog park with his own dogs.”
You close the door to the closet, turning on the light to change. “And how do you know that?” You can hear the accusation in her voice. “Told me one time. We were talking about weekend plans a while back. Said what he normally does on Saturdays.” “And you remembered?” You open the closet door. “I guess I did? Is that a bit weird?” “Kinda is yea. Anyways, Yuji what do you think?”
You look at Yuji on your unmade bed (that you probably should make at some today) who’s been sitting there listening to our conversation completely forgotten about. “I think we should just ask this Fushiguro guy if I can join his group. Can we go now pleaseeeee.” He gets on his knees on your bed and starts pouting at us. “You’re like some puppy. so full of energy. You got the looks too.” You go over to him and grab his face in your hands. “Girls hit on you? Guys?” You let go of his face and walk over to your vanity to do some makeup. “Um.. Yea a few why?” “Don’t worry about it sugar. But yea we can go. Do yall wanna take my car or do yall wanna walk?” You look over to them from my mirror. Yuji looks at Nobara before the question registers in his mind. “Car.” They both say at the same time. “Alright then. Let’s go.” You get up and walk out your room down the stairs to the front door. You hear them get up from the bed and make their way downstairs. you get your keys, put on your shoes and make sure you have everything before you step out the door.
“Make sure you lock the door. Maki’s gonna get on our asses about that if it’s unlocked when she comes back from her run.” “Yea yea heard ya.” We get inside the car and you turn it on. “So where are we going first?” Nobara pulls out her phone and shows you a location. “What am I supposed to do with this?” “It’s his location.” “Why do you just have his location?” She just shrugs at you and takes the aux.
“Yall got y’all’s seatbelts on?” You turn around to make sure Yuji buckled up. When you see them both buckled up, you back out of the driveway and follow the gps to Fushiguro’s location. After a few minutes of Nobara and Yuji doing karaoke to Rihanna’s ‘Shut up and drive’, we make it to the veterinary clinic. Before you even park, both of them are out the car.
