Work Text:

Regina George was a freak. There was no other explanation and Janis had no complaints.

They had just got married in the most beautiful venue, white fabric everywhere and little yellow lights decorating everything. Both of them had the vision of an elegant and aesthetic reception, contrary to the freakiness of the move Regina pulled in the reception.

Janis was dancing, enjoying life with Damian when he suddenly handed her something. She noticed it was a Polaroid picture but she didn’t quite catch right away of what. When she did, her eyes widened. There stood her now wife, in the most delicious lingerie she had ever seen her in. Red, all lace, leaving very little to the imagination.

She prepared for what the party had become about.

In a moment Janis was dancing with Gretchen, who had been one of Regina bridesmaids, and when she noticed that Gretchen wasn’t holding any pictures, she felt relieved. Until, god damn her, she reached into the cleavage of her dress and pulled out a Polaroid. She took a deep breath and thanked the universe she did, because now she couldn’t breath. This picture was of Regina dressed in a leather jacket. Janis’s leather jacket. Only the leather jacket. She put it safely in the inside pocket of the vest she had changed into for the party, having prepared for being more comfortable dancing and everything than in her wedding dress.

Two Polaroids, of who knows how many. It was going to be a long party.

After about an hour of having fun with her relatives and friends, Janis finally reunited with Regina.

“You’re a menace”, she said to Regina’s ear.

“You are loving every part of it, baby”, Regina responded, winking at Janis.

They danced and exchanged kisses for a few moments before being separated again.

This time Janis got together with Karen. Karen was in no way a part of this, Janis thought. She was oblivious most of the times to what was happening around her, so she thought that Regina wouldn’t trust her with a Polaroid. But, in a second, Gretchen approached Karen, handed her something and told her to give it to Janis. So, Karen did. She didn’t even look at it, just did what she was told. Now this photo was, how could one put it… unexpected. Regina was dressed, or rather undressed, and wearing an apron. Paint splashed all over the garment and her face. The hot part of the picture? Regina was sitting in a stool, with one leg up and the apron very low on her cleavage. Janis visibly gulped and put the Polaroid with the others in her pocket. She searched for Regina’s eyes through the crowd, only to find them already looking at hers. And she was smirking. Janis jokingly saluted and turned the other way around. How was she going to survive this stunt?

Then came Cady. Sweet little Cady. Janis knew right away what she was about to do because she was clearly very affected by it. Sweating and looking everywhere in case someone looked at the picture before Janis. She handed it over, sighed and turned around to go back dancing with someone. This Polaroid was of Regina in her bikini, by the pool. She was sitting in the edge of it and her feet were in the water.

She looked so pretty that Janis had to remind herself that that girl was hers. Her wife. She could understand why she gave Cady this one, it was much more mild than the previous ones. Who knows what would have happened if Cady had looked at one of those.

A moment later, she was reunited with Regina again.

“How are you holding up, baby girl?”, Regina purred in her ear.

“Oh, you know, can’t wait for this party to be over so I can see how that dress looks on the floor, so fine, I guess”, Janis responded. She thought she sounded confident, but the look in the Regina’s eyes told her otherwise.

“You sure seem fine”, Regina said while she was reaching into her dress pocket. “So let me give you one last gift”.

Janis took the last Polaroid and… God loved her. She wasn’t even religious but she was sure that she was God’s favorite. In this moment, she felt like she was levitating.

Regina was completely naked in their bed. There was a white sheet covering very little of her, so she could appreciate her wife’s figure well. She looked at Regina and found her smirking. That stupid, pretty smirk. Janis cupped her cheeks and kissed her. It was an audience-appropriate kiss, but she did bite Regina’s lower lip when she was separating from her.

“I’m so glad I married you”, Janis told her, and her tone was the most honest it has ever been.

“Me too, baby”, Regina said.

They had been married for only a couple of hours and they already were sure that it had been the best decision they had ever made.

Although, Regina was sharing that place with taking Polaroids for Janis, of course.
