'Where am I?' Thought John Nolan as he slowly opened his eyes to the blinding light.
Well, apparentley he was in some kind of a theatre. It was a large room, there were about 3 rows of chairs and sofas in the middle, and in front of them there was a huge tv screen. there were doors at the sides of the room, probably an exit or a toilet.
As he slowly adjusted his eyes tothe light, he saw that he wasn't the only person on the theatre.
There, on the floor, next to him, layed:
Lucy Chen, Jackson West, Tim Bradford, His T.O. Talia Bishop, Angela Lopez, sergeant Wade Grey, Captain Zoe Andersen,
and 6 strangers, in which he have never seen before.
Just as he was about to wake them up, there was suddenly an alarm sound all around the room.
Everyone woke with a start.
"What's going on?" asked one of the strangers, a blond skinny young looking man.
"It seems like we're in some sort of theatre" said Nolan. "Yeah no shit" said Bradford.
"The real question here is how we got here and why are we here" said one of the strangers, a bit hysteric.
after that people started to talk between themselves, panic in their voices.
"Everyone let's first calm down!" said captain andersen with a commending voice "Hi everyone I'm captain Zoe Andersen. I, as well as you don't know what's going on. But I can assure you that freaking out isn't gonna help anyone. Let's introduce ourselves first, alright?"
At that people started to calm down, "I'll start" said sargeant grey, "My name is Wade Grey, I'm a sergeant at the Mid Wilshire police station"
"Sargeant?" heard nolan one of the strangers, a young looking man with a Texas sounding accent, say. "Isn't he a lieutenant? or did I hurt my head or sum'?"
"I'm John nolan" said John
"Lucy Chen"
"Jackson West"
"Tim Bradford"
"Angela Lopez"
"Talia Bishop"
"Celina Juarez"
"Nyla Harper"
"Seth Ridley"
"Wesley Evers"
"Miles Penn here"
"Aaron Thorsen"
"Wait is That THE Aaron Thorsen? the one that killed his roomate at paris?" Nolan heard Lucy whisper to him. "He did?" he asked. "Yes didn't you hear about it? it was all over the news when it happened" said Jackson, who joined the conversation, "apparently I didn't".
Just as they finished saying their names the screen lit up with a message on it:
"Hello police officers... and Wesley.
My name is irrelevant.
I'm the one who brought you all here.
You were brought here to react to your future and past, starting from the first day as rookies for John Nolan, Lucy Chen and Jackson West, in the form of a TV show
You will be granted breaks between episodes.
now let's begin the first episode as soon as everyone are sat."
after everyone sat down the screen lit up again:

episode 1: the pilot
