Adrien was still getting used to making his own decisions, living his life. Without anyone telling him who to be or what to do. His life was His now. Everything felt weird. He almost missed being under his father's control. Luka had told him it's normal for abuse victims to feel that way, he was the only one he felt free talking to. But still, could he really define himself an abuse victim? Gabriel tried his best, afterall. He let him date Marinette, even if after a lot of complications. He had started saying yes, Making him food. God, Adrien was almost used to barely eating anything all day If it wasn't for his girlfriend who is a baker. Gabriel even allowed him to call him "Dad". But even so, the last memories Adrien has of his father is him forcefully taking him to London, and closing him in a room with almost nothing but cameras, with a girl he didn't like, forced to pretend to date her. Not to mention how he used his image without his consent and put him on everyone's ring, even threatened him to make him be a model again if he wasn't okay with it. So then why? Bugnoir had told him Gabriel sacrificed himself to save Nathalie and defeat Monarch. He was proud? Sad? Angry? Out of all moments he could have chosen to be a good person he chose his death. And now Adrien could never tell him how he felt. Deep Down, he dreamed of confronting him, hoping to fix their relationship. And now, he will never be able to do it, and he's not even allowed to remember him as a bad father anymore. He's everyone's hero. And everyone will remind Adrien of it. But at the end of the day, these are only thoughts he has sometimes. Things that will never get out of his head, not anymore.
