“Welcome to Mobile Legends! ”
A voice filled with fiery passion shouted out as 5 heroes materialized on their base’s spawn point one by one. Each hero ran energetically to their respective lanes to ensure victory to their team, except for 2 heroes that were slowly walking out of their base. “I hope you can show me your epic skills this time, ‘’Pinnacle Ninja’’,” Hanabi jeered as her squadmate, He grunted in response. “Try not to miss your Higanbana again, ‘’Scarlett Ninja’’,”
The urge to stab him with her soul scroll was strong but her willpower showed him who's the bigger person and she picked up the pace and darted straight to the gold lane without saying a word, leaving Hanzo to farm the red buff.
Usually Hanabi would avoid going in rank at all cost, but today felt different, she felt confident on upping her rank. And compete in rank she did, the first few matches were a breeze. With her companions on her side, Hayabusa and Kagura, despite the randoms that occasionally ruined the matches, teamwork made the dream work. With Hayabusa farming effectively, overfeeding himself and overpowering the enemies, Kagura's deadly umbrella burst. They were unstoppable. As if her lucky stars have run out of fuel, winning matches gets harder and harder, her companions getting banned more frequently in matches, the odds are against her but she's not one to back down.
Until he came along, at first he was performing okay, with a few mistakes and greedy decisions. For example, killing himself in the process of stealing the enemies’ buff and trying to 1v1 someone that was higher level than him. She, of course, graced him with constructive feedback, which he did not take too well. After that clutch victory match it all went downhill. His purposely feeding and throwing matches had her tearing her hair off, they almost destroyed the enemies’ turret but the “pinnacle ninja” decided to do his good deeds and feed him to the enemies, causing them to overfed and had an epic comeback.
Draft picks were covered with tension and sarcasm, with their teammates suffocating with their undertones and passive aggressiveness. Both of them wanted to ban one another but the system didn't let them pick at all, Hanabi wanted to call it a day but she's no quitter, and continued playing with the deadweight named Hanzo.
Back to the present, the team was decently fed and they were ahead of gold, so far they have the upper hand of the match. Hanabi is pleased to know that a certain teammate is doing his duties, as she was musing to herself while clearing minions at gold lane, she didn't notice that the hidden enemy's Chip was planning to ambush her.
Spawning a portal in the bushes to teleport his allies, the portal was different than usual, the portal was of a shade of blue that's out of this world and was sparkling with stars, Chip didn't notice much and tried stunning the occupied Hanabi, but before he could move an inch, a demonic figure dashed towards Chip, airborning him to halt him.
Hanzo successfully saved his clueless teammate, his body merged back with the demonic form and waited for his ungrateful teammate to throw some snarky remarks, only to hear distress scream from his back. He turned to see Hanabi clawing the ground, trying to not get sucked by the weird portal.
“Help!!!” She tried to dig her nails deeper into the dirt ground but to no avail, she felt the portal vacuuming her legs, consuming her. Dropping his greatsword in a panic. Hanzo as he rushes towards her, grabbing her wrist to pull her out, “Don't you dare let go of me!” Hanabi screeches as she feels her lower back slowly being consumed. “The p-portal it's too strong,” he tried to pull her out, his feet standing grounded, leaving trails of dirt behind him as he was slowly dragged into the portal.
Blue rays of light shine brightly and as if the portal had enough, it ended the tug of war, sucking both victims as well as Hanzo's Hanakage into the void as Hanabi screams slowly faded, the portal evaporated into thin air, leaving the device medium behind. Chip was dazed by what just happened before him, scratching his furry head as the ninjas' teammate, Nana and Zilong stopped on their tracks, also in the same confusion as the furry test subject. The minimap no longer had their icon popped out and even the bystanders more confused as two system messages popped out in chat.
