Lee Suhyeok and Choi Namra had been dating for who knows when. Ask anyone at Hyosan High-students, teachers, even the janitor-and you'd get the same answer: "They've been together since forever."
The quiet class president and the reformed delinquent. The perfect couple. The school's royalty. Together, they made sense-too much sense. Namra with her cold stares and quiet brilliance. Suhyeok with his brooding silence and sharp jawline. They never argued, never kissed in public, never seemed to need to.
That's because it was all a lie.
A very convenient, necessary, and deliberate lie.
In reality, Namra didn't love Suhyeok, and Suhyeok didn't love Namra. Not like that.
They were each hiding something much more dangerous than awkward teenage crushes. Something deeper than hormones and longing.
They were both in love with someone else.
No-someones else.
The Choi twins.
Choi Sekyung and Choi Seokheon. The infamous duo. Known for their strange habits, messy emotions, and being borderline unhinged. One was a walking contradiction: a beautiful girl with social anxiety and a taste for glazed donuts, who skipped school to sit on rooftops and once barked at a vending machine expecting itvto give her free drink. The other was a charming disaster: tall, expressive, and dangerously loyal, with a history of violence wrapped in soft smiles. They had matching birthmarks and matching scars, and rumors swirled about their colorblind eyes and odd immunity to food poisoning.
Namra had fallen for Sekyung the way stars fall out of the sky-quietly, violently, inevitably. She saw the fire beneath the frost. She saw the pain behind the glare. And she wanted her-all of her. In ways she couldn't even say out loud.
Suhyeok, on the other hand, was drawn to Seokheon like a moth to a flame. And like any good moth, he would burn for him, every time. He didn't understand it, not fully. But he didn't care to. He just wanted to hold him, claim him, ruin him, love him.
So they faked it. The relationship. The romance. The perfect couple act. Because Namra wasn't ready to come out. And Suhyeok didn't even know what he was, only that he wanted him.
But behind closed doors, in empty classrooms, over phone calls late into the night, they confessed in whispers and touches-to them.
They didn't just love the Choi twins.
They hooked up with them.
Spending a loving night at the Choi's luxury house, acting like it was some sort of love hotel.
They worshipped them. Wanted them. Obsessed over them.
And everyone else at Hyosan?
They had no idea.
Because some secrets are dangerous.
And some lies...
Are just too perfect to ruin.
