Missed my roommate So I made her into a cookie

Summary:

Omg I wld luv 2 🐝 made in2 a 🍪’

The follow up being a link to some Twitter normie crying about missing their significant other so she could understand the context.

Because if that, she found herself driven by some unknown force, urging her to hurry up and make the pastel roommate into a baked treat.

She practiced first.

Work Text:

Morticia watched from a distance, her chin resting in her open palm as she stared towards her only daughters direction.

There was a lot Wednesday excelled in, the things she would push the envelope of just to prove a point.

She’s made a statement of her independence since she was nine years old.

Pushing away any form of coddling.

Which is why the sight was so peculiar…

Wednesday wasn’t sure what spell was casted upon her. This hex was certainly ruining her schedule.

For some reason since returning after break, she’s found herself in her phone more often than Thing.

She blamed her social butterfly of a roommate for forcing her into the world of online.

Text messages, apps, videos, nonsense! It was full of needless information of morons who had nothing better to do but yet she couldn’t stop herself from replying.

She couldn’t deny the Sinclair her attention even when they were thousands of miles away.

Which is why when she send that text..

‘Omg I wld luv 2 🐝 made in2 a 🍪’

The follow up being a link to some Twitter normie crying about missing their significant other so she could understand the context.

Because if that, she found herself driven by some unknown force, urging her to hurry up and make the pastel roommate into a baked treat.

She practiced first.

Sending Thing to retrieve the best substitutes of clay that could match the fragility of raw cookie dough.

It took a few days.

She was anything if not meticulous.

If Enid was impressed by such a juvenile display of baking then she’ll show her true skill from an Addams.

The exposure to the Sinclair year round helped her color allergy a great deal.

Wednesday easily alternated between colors with little care of how much stained her palms from the fondant. Her best scalpel precisely cutting and shaping the ‘clothes and accessories’ like her very own Polly pocket. Another thing Enid had mentioned in passing about her childhood.

Everything was looking perfect.

The sugar cookie dough kneaded by hand into different colors before blending them into an eyesore of vibrant tie-dyes.

The timer was due to go off in any moment, she had been painstakingly waiting for the cookie to finish cooling.

Her tweezers were to the side prepared to cautiously move everything into place.

Wednesday didn’t accept any of Things help, his annoyed drumming against the counter earned him a knife toss which impaled the dark wooden top.

It was his job to take the photo for the Sinclair as a surprise.

Wednesday wiped her color stained palms against her smock, the black material instantly looking like a rainbow had threw up on her.

The young Addams held the finished work carefully, her eyes drawn to Thing,

“Hurry up and take it.” She spoke, holding the cookie out before her.

He didn’t raise the phone, tapping the counter to suggest an alternative presentation.

Wednesday exhaled through her nose, exhausted but complying as she brought the half wolf half girl shaped cookie to her mouth, her teeth sinking past the artificial taste of color dyes and fondant.

The flash was instant.

She reviewed it for a second before agreeing for him to send it.

The horridly baked good in her mouth was atrocious, yet she didn’t dare to spit it out.

She eyes the little cookie based on her roommate before taking a second bite, her eyes briefly meet her mothers mid chew as Morticia enters the kitchen area, appalled by the amount of colored bowls and candy colored smudges decorating the scene.

Her thoughts rang louder then the alarms going off in her mind, her trauma endured daughter needed a vacation.

Enid’s fork fell out of her hand in the middle of dinner with her family. The utensil clattering as it bounced off the table and onto the floor.

The bothered look from her mother didn’t matter right now.

Her mint blue eyes could only take in the photo from Thing with his caption ‘ThiNG sAiD He mIssES yOU~’

The food in her mouth nearly choked her as she forgot to chew, how to swallow, how to breath!

She didn’t realize he was present during their make up / apology sesh.

Her hands instantly saved the photo taking it to her instagram knowing the raven didn’t follow her.

Unable to withhold this as she posted the image with her own caption,

“Guys, is it gay if your roommate makes a cookie version of you and eats it?”

Thanks for reading my nonsense!
