“Cellbit, Cellbit, I have a gift for you.” Roier’s voice calls above all the excited chatter of his rescue party.
Cellbit turns to him and can’t help but grin as Roier tosses something at him. Cellbit is too distracted by how Roier looks in the treelight to see what Roier was tossing at him or to even catch it. Cellbit tries to look around for whatever Roier was trying to give to him but can’t seem to find it and looks up at Roier with empty hands. Cellbit also takes a moment to look in his inventory but finds it just as sparsely filled as when they left the place The Federation was keeping him.
“Someone have a magnet?” Roier asks, as he looks around at their friends that surround them. “Fuck.”
Cellbit can’t help but laugh. He doesn’t know if he is laughing because of the lightness he feels in being rescued or the slight pout Roier has as he looks for whatever he was trying to throw at him. Roier frowns as he seems to give up looking for whatever he was trying to give him. Cellbit is disappointed that
“No, no. I have another one. No, no, come here.” Roier replies, leading Cellbit farther away from the group. “Oh, where’s the camera?”
Cellbit follows Roier and can’t help but think about proposing to Roier here in the middle of the woods. Cellbit can’t help but wonder if Roier got his letter from before he was taken by The Federation and nothing had changed between them or if he never got the letter and what that would mean for them. Sure, The Federation was still looming over him- looming over all of them and their children but The Federation was no longer recruiting him and he no longer needed to keep his distance from everyone despite how much he still needs to investigate what he has forgotten since he ended up in The Federation with Felps. He could finally choose to be happy while they look for a way off the island and maybe even be happy once they finally get off the island.
Cellbit can’t help but reach around his neck as he moves to follow Roier. Silently he prays that The Federation did not take the necklace that he asked Pac and Mike to make. Cellbit lets out a breath as he feels the chain against his fingertips. The idea of having the ability to redo the moment was reassuring. Sure, making a perfect proposal was not the original use for the device but it wasn’t like he was told by either of the other men that he couldn’t use the device for personal use. The device was originally supposed to be used in case of emergency regarding Richarlyson’s life with as risky as the island could be but luckily he hasn’t had to use it yet. The scientists had not been able to give Cellbit a limit of how far back he could go but he knew he could at least turn back the clock a few minutes and try again in either situation. Cellbit was actually surprised he still had it; he supposed The Federation thought it to be unimportant enough to let him keep it unlike most of the things he had thought he had had before his recruitment.
Cellbit’s path is quickly blocked by Maximus walking into his path halfway between him and Roier. It is obvious that Maximus wants to talk to him and was not going to give Cellbit a choice in the matter. Cellbit bites back a groan as the other man starts to speak.
“Are you feeling good? Did they do something to you? Are you feeling alright?” Maximus asks; one question being fired off one after the other and not leaving a moment between each question for Cellbit to actually answer him.
“I don’t know. I don’t remember anything.” Cellbit replies, trying to not focus too much on the unknown of the time that he can’t remember.
“Come.” Roier calls again and Cellbit moves past Maximus and walks the rest of the way to Roier.
Celbit is glad when he doesn’t hear Maximus immediately following him. He wanted space to do what he wanted and any other people would run his plans. He wanted his proposal to be personal and between the two of them.
“I have a gift for you.” Roier replies, as he struggles with a small camera and portable printer.
“Roier.” Cellbit starts to speak.
“Wait.” Roier replies, cutting him off, as he messes with the printer a bit more.
Cellbit can’t help but stare fondly at Roier for a moment. How the sunlight dances on him from between the treetops as he messes with the equipment, his lip pulled between his teeth as he obviously bites back curses at the printer and camera. Cellbit almost wants to tell him that he is sure it can wait till they have some better equipment to make it easier.
“Do you want to marry me?” Cellbit asks instead.
“¿Como?” Roier asks but is quickly drowned out by all their friends joining them.
Cellbit can’t help but feel his heart lurch into his throat as he glances at their approaching friends before glancing back at Roier’s confused face. Cellbit sighs and lets his shoulders drop as he reaches for the necklace. Cellbit carefully turns the gears on the necklace just a tiny bit hoping that he doesn’t go back too far.

Cellbit can’t help but feel a bit disoriented as he is pulled back in time. Once he stops feeling like he is in a moving car, Cellbit looks around and is glad to see that he is not back in the white walls of The Federation and that he is just in the woods again. Cellbit lets out a sigh of relief as he looks around.
“Cellbit, Cellbit, I have a gift for you.” Roier calls out to him and Cellbit feels himself relax a small amount at the sound of the other man’s voice.
Despite knowing he isn’t going to get the gift Cellbit can’t help but turn towards Roier with a smile. He still can’t see what Roier tosses at him. Cellbit still doesn’t get to see what it is as it is quickly tugged away from him.
“Someone have a magnet?” Roier asks, as he looks around at his friends that surround them. “Fuck.”
Cellbit can’t help but laugh. Cellbit feels the way his heart tugs at Roier’s confusion and he almost wants to tell Roier that it is alright and that he doesn’t need to be given anything but part of him is still curious what Roier was going to give him.
“No, no. I have another one. No, no, come here.” Roier replies, leading Cellbit farther away from the group. “Oh, where’s the camera?”
Cellbit can't help but feel at his neck again for the chain that holds the time travel device. Cellbit feels relief when he finds that the chain is still there and he has more chances. Cellbit goes to approach Roier again but his path is quickly blocked by Maximus. Despite knowing the man was going to block his path, Cellbit bites back a groan as the other man starts to speak.
“Are you feeling good? Did they do something to you? Are you feeling alright?” The man asks once again.
“I don’t know. I think they brainwashed me. Look at me. I don’t remember anything. I don’t know what happened.” Cellbit replies, once again trying to not focus too much on the unknown of the time that he can’t remember.
“Come.” Roier calls again and Cellbit moves past Maximus and walks to Roier.
Celbit is glad when he doesn’t hear Maximus follow. He knows that the man is bound to follow him shortly but he can’t help but feel relieved that he can get a moment or two alone with Roier again.
“I have a gift for you.” Roier replies, as he struggles with a small camera and portable printer. “Wait.”
“How many days did pass?” Cellbit asks, as the rest of their friends approach.
“I don’t know. Like 4 days I think.” Roier replies, as he stops messing with the printer.
“What?” Cellbit asks the weight of how much he could have done and not known of it weighing on his shoulders.
“Yeah, like 4 days.” Bad confirms.
“I just don’t remember like anything.” Cellbit says, more to himself than to anyone else.
“You’re white, like a Cucurucho. You’re white. What the fuck.” Maximus says and Cellbit can’t help but glance down at the outfit he was wearing.
“I don’t know- I don’t know what’s happening.”
“What are you wearing?” Bad asks, the calmness of his voice making Cellbit a bit calmer like it used to during the war.
“I don’t know.” Cellbit replies, taking a deep breath. “I just woke up like this. I don’t remember wearing this. I don’t remember anything.”
“They want to convert him to Cucurucho.” Maximus jokes.
Cellbit wonders if Maximus’ joke isn’t too far off from the truth. The thought terrifies him a bit but why else would they have dressed him up in white and let him join The Federation?. Cellbit feels as if he was doused in cold water at the idea that they were trying to make him like them and what he could have done. He fears that maybe he could have done something to an islander or worse the kids.
“I have something.” Bad states, drawing Cellbit out of his thoughts as he places down a sharestone. “Quick. Everyone go to spawn.”
Cellbit touches the sharestone before he remembers he doesn’t have anything to pay for his travel. The Federation seemed to be thorough with taking almost everything from him. Cellbit tries not to think of the possibility that he had died and respawned while with The Federation.
“I don’t have XP.” Cellbit calls, hoping that someone has a solution that isn’t him walking all the way home.
“Oh shit.” Roier says digging in his pockets the moment that Cellbit opened his mouth. “Here. Take this. Take this.”
Before Cellbit can even see what Roier is trying to hand him, Maximus is stepping between them. Cellbit almost wants to hit him and shove him out of the way.
“Oh, thank you.” Maximus says.
“No tu, pendejo.” Roier says and Cellbit can’t help but smile as Roier smacks Maximus.
Maximus seems to get the hint and moves to bug someone else for help. The moment Maximus is gone, Cellbit can see the purple warpstone in Roier’s hand. Cellbit can’t help but frown at the thought of how many things of his he lost and would have to remake or ask people for. The sharestone would be the first of many things he was going to find that he lost in the past 4 days.
“Come here. Come here.” Roier says as he starts to walk farther away from the group.
Cellbit almost thinks this would be another good moment for him to try and propose to Roier. He needs to do it before something can happen to them but he needs it to be perfect. Cellbit hears Bad calling his name and he knows the time is not right.
“Here you can use this.” Bad says as he hands a block of XP to Cellbit.
“Okay, okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.” Roier says as Cellbit takes the block and puts it in his pocket.
Cellbit turns back to Roier as Bad runs off to rejoin the others.. Once again they were momentarily alone. Cellbit takes a breath as he takes a step towards Roier. He seems to be working on putting the warpstone back in his inventory or maybe looking for something else.
“Roier, do you want to get married?”
Roier freezes his hands still in his inventory, frozen where they were when Cellbit opened his mouth. Cellbit can’t help but regret asking Roier in the moment, they weren’t safe and anyone could still walk over to see if they were struggling with something. Cellbit doesn’t hesitate to reach for the necklace as Roier starts to open his mouth. Cellbit doesn’t get to hear what Roier says before he is once again thrown back in time.

Cellbit can’t help but smile and laugh at the ingualsinho cat image that Roier hands him. The humor of the image despite the horrors that everyone had gone through and the gaps in Cellbit’s own memory that are haunting him makes Cellbit want to kiss Roier for the gift. He holds himself back knowing that now is not the time, especially when he might have to rewind time to make up for yet another imperfect proposal. He doesn’t want Roier to forget their first kiss.
The action lingers in Cellbit’s mind even as he enters The Favela and enters the Ordo Theoritas’ meeting room. Cellbit listens to everyone talk and can’t help but be soothed by the voices of his friends and family. Cellbit still finds himself distracted as Roier silently enters the room. Only now that everything has calmed down does Cellbit realize that Roier is dressed in the same style and color of clothing that Vengetta normally wears.
“Why are you dressed like Vengetta?” Cellbit asks as he approaches Roier, he can’t help but let his eyes linger as he looks over Roier’s outfit.
“Huh?” Roier asks, tilting his head a little bit.
“Why are you dressed like Vengetta?” Cellbit repeats.
“A long story.” Roier replies, pausing for a moment before speaking again. “A long story.”
“Okay, Okay.” Cellbit replies and he can’t help but frown a little bit at the lack of an answer.
Roier seems to notice Cellbit’s frown and quickly speaks again. “Later. Later. Later I can tell you.”
Cellbit offers Roier a small smile before he moves back to the head of the table. It was time to start the meeting. It seemed as if everyone had arrived and there was no reason to delay the meeting.
“Guys it’s good to be back. Thank you so much for doing everything you all did.”
Cellbit can’t help but smile as everyone cheers. It feels good to be back around his family and friends again.
“I have no idea what happened the last couple days. I have no recollection of joining The Federation.”
“Me to.” Felps adds.
Cellbit tries not to think about him frozen in ice but he can’t seem to shake the image from his mind as he forces himself to continue. The chill he feels makes Cellbit wonder if he was frozen like Felps during his time within The Federation.
“Let me try to summarize what happened the last week. I pretended I was betraying everyone and I acted like an asshole. I’m so sorry.” Cellbit says trying to look at everyone. “But that was the only way we could make Cucurucho believe in me and it worked, I guess.”
“I don’t know why I’m dressed like this,” Cellbit continues as he gestures down at his white clothes. “But maybe I worked for The Federation for some time and maybe they erased my memory.”
Cellbit takes a deep breath as he tries to shove down all the fear of what The Federation could have had him do that he doesn’t remember. Trying to piece together what had happened was something that he needed to do when he was alone in his office.
“I don’t- I remember flashes. I like remember Felps in a block of ice. I remember seeing books and soap but I have no recollection of what exactly happened. Felps also told me that he doesn’t remember very well. Can you tell them what you remember, Felps?” Cellbit asks, wanting to get the attention off him for a moment.
“I just remember Cucurucho being a nice guy to me and bringing me to some room and closing the wall. That’s it. Just that.” Felps explains.
“The last thing I remember is Cucurucho giving me a book saying that tomorrow was going to be the day of the process where I would enter The Federation and I don’t remember anything else.” Cellbit remembers that that interaction was 5 days before today and tries not to focus on how much time he has lost. “I don’t remember talking to Cucurucho again. I don’t remember if I actually got into The Federation- or if they brainwashed me. I don’t know what happened but I think at least something went right, because we got Felps back and that was our main mission. So, welcome back, Felps.”
Cellbit can’t help but smile as everyone echoes his sentiment and says welcome back. Cellbit gives everyone a moment before he continues.
“They took all my items.” Cellbit lies as he ignores how heavy the necklace with the time machine rests around his neck, no one else needed to know it was there. “I don’t know if I wrote something down while I was working for The Federation. I don’t know if something happened. I hope I can investigate this more in the next days to come but for today I just want to say that I love you guys so much and thank you for doing everything you could to get us back.”
“It was a pleasure, Gatinho.” Roier replies and it sounds far too genuine and Cellbit can’t help how his heart starts to beat faster.
“Let’s do it again next week.” Foolish jokes with a laugh.
“Yeah.” Fit agrees.
Cellbit can’t help but laugh. “Let’s not do it again. You know The Federation tried to break us and they made their biggest mistake cause now we’re more stronger than ever and we’re more together than ever and we’re going to leave this fucking island-”
Cellbit can’t help but grin as everyone cheers. He almost feels like there will be a day where they defeat The Federation and make it off of this fucking island together.
“-and destroy The Federation.” Cellbit adds as everyone continues to cheer. “Down with The Federation.”
Cellbit feels the love of his friends spread through his body as all of his friends echo his words. Cellbit isn’t sure who says about it but someone mentions a party and everyone starts to leave the room.
“Roier. Wait.” Cellbit calls, not wanting to miss his chance to propose again.
Cellbit is surprised at how quickly Roier stops and moves closer to Cellbit as everyone else is leaving to go to the Favela to party. Cellbit takes a deep breath as he waits for everyone to move farther away from the meeting room. He doesn’t want anyone to ruin the moment again.
“Do you want to get married?” Cellbit asks once the halls had grown silent, unable to take his eyes off Roier as he asks.
“Married?” Roier asks, staring at Cellbit with furrowed eyebrows.
Cellbit’s heart sinks to the bottom of his stomach at Roier’s reaction. It wasn’t exactly a rejection but it almost feels like one and Cellbit can’t risk letting his feelings ruin the playful flirting and friendship they have. Cellbit reaches up for the necklace around his neck and turns the gears before Roier can say another word. As once again gets thrown back in time he decides that he will not propose to Roier again.

Cellbit wanted to go to the party to try and take his mind off of everything that had happened, unfortunately he couldn’t get his mind to stop thinking. His mind kept drifting to the gaps in his memory and the failed proposals. Cellbit wished one of them would have been good enough to stick if Roier actually wanted something more serious with him like Cellbit had thought he did. Cellbit is drawn out of his thoughts by Felps face inches from his.
“Por que está me olhando aqui, psicopata?” Cellbit asks suddenly, hoping to scare his friend with his sudden words.
“Eu gosto de olhar.” Felps replies, not seeming phased by Cellbit’s outburst.
“Eu estava só- estava só ouvindo a paisagem pensando na vida.” Cellbit replies, before turning to walk back to the party.
“Welcome back, I like your pajamas.” Foolish says the moment Cellbit returns to the party.
Cellbit glances down at the stark white suit before he replies. “ Thanks, I think it’s supposed to be like a suit or something, right?”
“Oh, I thought it was more of like a sleepover.” Foolish replies.
“Yeah, no. I think it’s like a white suit because of The Federation.” Cellbit explains, as he scans the party for Roier before he realizes that Roier had joined them at some point during the conversation.
“Yeah, right, that could make sense.” Foolish replies.
Cellbit can’t help but notice the purple of the outfit that Roier is wearing and his question from earlier about why Roier was wearing it comes back.
“So what’s up with the Vengetta outfit, Roier?” Cellbit asks, taking a moment to look over Roier again.
“There-” Roier starts to say before he is cut off by music that someone starts to randomly play.
Cellbit looks around and can’t decide who is actually the cause for the music. He sees two of the children lingering around all of them and can’t help but assume it was one of the children.
“Cellbit.” Foolish says, drawing Cellbit’s attention back to their conversation. “ I would like you to meet my son, Roier.”
“What?” Celbit says, unable to hide the shock from his voice.
“Yeah.” Roier replies.
“Oh, congratulations.” Cellbit says, not knowing what else to say.
“So, now I am Vengetta’s son and Follish’s son, so that’s why I have this.” Roier replies, gesturing to his clothing and Cellbit can’t help but let his eyes linger as he looks over Roier’s body.
“I like it.” Cellbit says, desperately not trying to say how attractive Roier looks dressed as he is. “It’s good to see you again, man.”
Roier smiles softly and Cellbit can feel his heart clench at the gesture. “ Aw, man. It’s good to see you, man. It’s good to see you.”
“How were the last couple days?” Cellbit asks, unable to take his eyes off Roier.
“Huh?” Roier asks, his facial expression reminding Cellbit of the failed proposals.
“Como foram os últimos dias?” Cellbit repeats.
Cellbit can’t help but notice how Roier hesitates to answer him. He didn’t think a few days without him would affect the other man that badly. He can’t help but wonder how much the other man slept after he found out Cellbit was missing. Part of Cellbit hopes that it means something more or that his letter had something to do with it.
“Complicado.” Roier finally replies. “Dificil- Dificil sin ti. Complicado no se explicarlo.”
Cellbit can’t help but feel a bit guilty at his disappearance being a reason for Roier to have a bad few days. He didn’t want to hurt the other man. He had tried so hard during the time he was trying to show The Federation he was on their side not to hurt Roier. Despite how hard he tried, he still ended up hurting the man. Cellbit is pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of Richas putting down a sign.
‘Pai o titio roier e vc vão se casar :D’
Cellbit can’t help but feel his cheeks turning pink in embarrassment. “ Porque? Vai se casar? Calma la. Calma la.”
Cellbit always found his son’s mischievous signs at least a bit amusing. Normally, Cellbit could get to the signs before anyone could see but there were too many people too close to the sign to hide the evidence.
“Como?” Roier says and Cellbit can’t help but think of all the failed proposals, at least this one was not his fault.
“Para o que?” Felps asks, as he pushes Cellbit’s shoulder a bit, obviously trying to look at the sign.
Cellbit hears the sign of Richas putting down another sign and feels a sense of dread settle in his stomach at the prospect of what his son wrote on the sign.
‘Foi decidido 2 dias atrás’
“Foi decidido por quem?” Cellbit asked, trying to get more information out of his son.
“Você não estava aqui.” Felps adds before he tilts his head. “Espera, se vai casar Cellbit?”
“Eu não sei. Eu não sei.” Cellbit answers as he turns to Roier. “Vamos a casar?”
“Como?” Roier asks and Cellbit tries not to think of the failed proposals or instinctively reach for the necklace. “Casar?”
“Você pediu em casamento agora, Cellbit.” Felps teases.
“Eu não sei.” Cellbit replies, his question being more if Roier wants to than it being an actual proposal.
“Acabou de fazer isso.” Felps replies with a raised eyebrow and a slight mischievous smile.
“Eu não quero dizer.” Cellbit defends himself.
“Você pediu ele em casamento.” Felps replies, with a smile.
“Wait. You guys are going to get married?” Foolish asks, seeming excited at the idea. “Cellbit”
“I don’t have a ring on my finger.” Roier replies, cutting off whatever Foolish was going to say. “I don’t know.”
Cellbit can’t believe that he forgot to get some sort of ring for Roier. Cellbit wishes he had something that was enough of a ring to give to the other man.
“Cellbit will marry Roier.” Felps says, as if it has already been agreed upon.
“Cellbit-” Foolish starts to say again before being cut off by Roier once again.
“Okay. Okay. Stop the music.” Roier commands.
Cellbit can’t help but look to the kids to turn off the music. “Stop- okay.”
Cellbit can’t help but take a deep breath in the momentary silence. One last moment before Roier ends up letting him down. Why else would the other man want the music turned down?
“This would make me your father in law.” Foolish says, breaking the moment of silence.
“I don’t have a ring on my finger . I don’t know.” Roier repeats.
Cellbit holds back a laugh as Richas throws a diamond at Roier.
“No, this is a diamond. I need a ring.” Roier says.
Cellbit can’t help but feel an inkling of hope at the fact that it almost sounds as if Roier is going to agree to marry him. Cellbit knows he doesn’t have a ring in his inventory but still can help but look for one or something that would at least make do.
“How do I make a ring?” Foolish asks, seeming almost as concerned as Cellbit about making a ring.
“Is there a way to make a ring?” Cellbit asks, as he flips through the recipes he has.
“No. No.” Roier replies, with a frown.
“All this shit and no ring?” Foolish asks, gesturing to everything around them.
Cellbit almost wants to grab the necklace and go back before Richas places the sign. Maybe he could find a way to stop Richas from placing the sign and then not have to deal with this. Despite that and despite wanting perfection, Roier’s focus on the ring and lack of a direct no gives him hope and Cellbit can’t help but ask again.
“Do you want to get married?”
“If you want, yes.” Roier replies.
Cellbit can’t help but grin. “Alright. Alright. Okay. We’re getting married.”
“Ok.” Roier says, a small smile creeping on his face.
Cellbit can’t help but smile more at Roier’s faint smile. He can’t bring himself to use the knowledge that Roier would accept to make a better proposal for Roier. Maybe it wasn’t perfect but it was perfectly imperfect.
