Chapter Text
An afternoon much like any other for Andy and Leyley was about to conclude. For young Andrew was tasked with doing some shopping for his dear mother who tolerates him so. After they had gathered the bags into the tote they’d been given to make carrying easier just by the door, Andy had stepped out briefly to walk the shopping cart to the return, leaving Leyley a few feet behind him. With a sly chuckle, the youngest asked. “Aandyyy, come on, who cares.”
Andy pauses, the casters of the cart against the tile stopping. They weren’t exactly far from the cart return. “What’re you on about?”
“The cart, Andy. Who cares if you put it back?” His sister retorts so cleverly, snickering again. “Nothing’s gonna happen~”
“If I don’t put the cart back, it’ll probably be in someone’s way, LeyLey.” Though you doubt she really understands the problem of being in people’s way.
“So? Who cares, you’ll be gone and they won’t know who did it.”
“Leyley, it’s… it’s more complicated than that??”
Another laugh. “What’s so hard about it? Just leave the cart, Andy~” Andy just pauses and sighs deeply, annoyed that this little gremlin of a sister was insisting he just ignore a basic principle of the social contract. Andy was a respectful person, not returning the cart is frankly disrespectful isn’t it? Ergo…?
The brother just sighs heavily and lets go of the cart and turns around. “Fine! Whatever.” Anxiously he takes a step away from it, looking around like he killed _ _ _ _ again.
“Hehe~” Leyley giggles. “Now let’s go, maybe we’ll get home before mom does~”
