Our true love never divided, only of to be prided
They had been together for a long while now.
The civil war, the Rebellion, all of those a thing of the past.
And so now, their life together, while having its ups and downs was certainly filled with very much love and certainly pride. Pride, of daring to venture beyond the norms, old hangups, old habits and teachings of good and bad, all but gone.
The two, having become the loving couple the two now were with their family in their new home shared.
As yes, it was large by comparison. The love and family both as well.
As it wasn’t just their former colleagues the two shared their lives with. Their friends and family having formed during the Rebellion, true, but also the Lasat found on Lira San. All of them having accepted the two into their fold.
And so, the family having started growing with kits of varied ages as well. Alex and Zeb wanting nothing more than to share their love and their home for those in need. The smaller and the bigger having all been welcomed to their loving house.
The two dads taking care of their ever growing litter, their love never wavering. Not for their children nor each other. Their hearts filled with joy and much love, but mostly, it was the pride. That they both could finally be whom they were all the while caring for others as the second chances in life were well worth the taking.
As had Alex and Zeb done so.
The ex-Imperial and the Rebel Lasat, the two lovers forming together a union most did not even dare to imagine.
But Alex and Zeb had and did make it work oh so very well.
In love, in pride, for all that the two and their family were. Together.
