So many fucking bugs. It was all he could think about those past few nights. Even when trying to ignore it when their disgusting selves landed on his face when he tried to sleep, it had become downright impossible to ignore their noisy buzzing wings and the incessant tapping as they hurled their tiny bodies against his ceiling and walls again and again. And again. It was maddening, the noise and the feeling of their many legs crawling across his skin.
There was no way he could sleep like this. Could for the past four nights in which the number of disgusting insects in his room just seemed to grow and grow. From more easily ignored moths to annoying beetles and more lately these truly repulsive massive flying ant like horrors. No matter what he did all he could think about was the annoying noises they made. The whirring buzz and the tap tap tap of stupid fucking insects in his room.
And even when he tried to kill them, as soon as he thought he had gotten them all another disgusting little menace landed right on his face. And it just kept happening. For more than half of the week he had been stuck staying up until after dawn, when the exhaustion began to take its toll and the insects for some fucking reason became less active.
Why they couldn’t leave him the fuck alone when he tried to sleep at a more normal time was beyond him. So was why they could get into his room in such great numbers yet not one was able to get the fuck out. Why they seemed so intent on circling solely around his bed, and landing on him again and again when all it ever brought them was death.
It was as if they were created solely to be the most repulsive and irritating terrors to haunt this damned earth. And in his opinion they were. He thought that this entire cursed planet should be burned to ashes to get rid of them. And he knew that even if that did happen it would not be enough. That he would never be free of the disgusting nightmare that haunted his every waking moment. The crawling horrors that outnumbered him so incredibly vastly.
That would devour and finally crawl within his body when inevitably it came time for him to die.
