Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes Versus Modern Appliances
Steve never used the dishwasher, he washed everything by hand and let it all air dry. He used either Bar Keepers Friend because it was a familiar product or Mrs. Meyers because he likes to think it is a product line his mother would approve of. He also liked to hand wash his uniform and let it hang to dry, The Avengers compound had a single out of place clothes line in the yard that only he used.
No one taught Bucky how to use the dishwasher, he just got tired of handwashing his arm with all its nooks and crannies and decided to give the machine a shot.
Bucky only had laundry detergent on hand, but soap is soap. Right? Wrong. There were suds everywhere in the kitchen. He later caved and asked Sam what kind of soap he used in the machine. And don't get him started on the dryer, he shank so many shirts when he first used it.
