Natalie sits in the kitchen of their cabin, reading a book. Lottie's getting ready down the hall.
Lottie picks out an orange dress and of course lots of jewelry. She puts on earrings and a watch her father gave her at her last birthday, after they had a good conversation about the past.
Of course, Lottie always wars a necklace that matches the colour of her dress so she picks out a necklace with an orange stone. Lastly she puts on a few rings and, of course, the ring with the two interwining circles thats identical to the one Nat's always wearing. It's the one they gave each other a month ago as they celebrated their one year anniversary of beeing officially a couple.
"How do I look?" Lottie asks as she walks into the kitchen and stands in front of Natalie.
This is their little ritual. They wake up together so that they can spend a little time together before Lottie goes off to do her work at the compound. Natalie has work to do too, but she doesn't have to go out so early. They always eat breakfast together, then Lottie gets ready for the day, while Natalie reads a book or spends a little bit time on her phone.
Natalie swiftly looks up from her book and answers "good".
"Only good?" Lottie asks a little bit flirty. She knows Natalie likes the dress and normally Nat makes sure to check her out.
Natalie puts her book down and says a little bit annoyed "you know you look good."
Lottie lifts an eyebrow at that. "What"s that supposed to mean," she asks.
"You know what I mean, with your tits all out like that" Natalie says and gestures towards Lotties dress.
"Seriously? Lottie asks in disbelief and a little perplex. "I didn't know you have a problem with the way i'm dressing."
"I don't. I just don't like everyone drooling after you. Don't you notice how they all look at you?"
"And that's my fault? And no ones drooling after me." Lottie shakes her head.
The day started out normal but for some reason Natalie wants to argue now. She assumes it's about something else and Natalie just needs to let a little steam off before she can talk about her feelings. So she continues with less anger in her voice "I'm their therapist, I help them, you know that. Of course they look at me when where're in a session or when I'm talking in front of everyone."
Natalie is angry but she's not really angry at Lottie. She knows she's not beeing fair to Lottie right now, she just has trouble talking about her feelings, so she tries to keep her anger at bay.
"I just hate that they can look at you the whole day and I only get to see you in the evening."
Natalie had taken on a few responsibilities outside of the compound, over the last months, because she wanted to get out more and so it happens that they don't often see each other during the day.
Lottie realises what this is about and steps closer to Natalie. She exhales and takes Natalies hands.
"Nat, this isn't really about my tits, is it?" she asks calmly and with a cheaky grin.
Natalie looks down for a moment and then looks up, into Lotties brown eyes, who she never stood a chance against "no, it's not about your tits". She's also grinning now and puts her hands around Lotties waist, who does the same in response.
Lottie waits for Natalie to say more, only tilts her head a little.
Natalie exhales before admitting "I don't like how little we see auch other. We see each other in the morning and then you go and I only get to see you again in the evening." She inhales deep and adds quiet "I miss you Lot, even when you're still here."
Lottie looks affectionatly at the woman befor her and puts a strand of Natalies hair behind her ear. Then she caresses her cheek and says "I know. I miss you too. Every day I'm excited to get home back to you".
She pulls Natalie even closer towards her. " Let's go on a vacation together. Just the two of us, for a week or so."
Natalie slides her hands over Lotties waist to comfort them both. "Yeah, wouldn't that be nice."
"Nat, I'm serious. Let's get away. You know I usually go on a vacation during the winter when most poeple are away but why not go now? I'm searious! Todd and Lisa can easily take over for a week or two."
Natalie smiles at how cute Lottie is when she's excited and gives her a quick kiss. "Are you sure, Lot? I know you don't like to leave for longer than you have to."
"I'm absolutely sure. I'll manage to leave the compound if it means I get to spend a whole week with my woman. We can start planning tonight."
Both of them smile at each other.
Then Lottie says sincerely "and I promise you to come home earlier. No more sitting in my office till it's dark."
"And I promise to take you out more often so that we can spend more time alone," Natalie adds to that.
Both laugh at that because they know, with "take you out" Natalie really means she picks the place they go to und Lottie pays for all of it.
"Sounds like a good idea" Lottie nods and they kiss again. This time longer and Natalie puts her arms around Lotties neck, who pulls her even closer. They both smile into the kiss.
Eventually, they let go of each other and Natalie wipes at Lotties slightly smeared Lipstick with her right thumb.
Lottie smiles apologetic and says "I have to go", before she gives Natalie a quick kiss on the lips and one on her forehead and let's go of her.
Natalie smiles and let's her woman go.
"By the way the dress looks great. Can't wait to look at your tits when you get back."
Lottie, half on her way out, catches Natalie winking at her and answers while laughing "love you."
"Love you more" Natalie calls after Lottie before sitting down to continue reading her book.
She's still smiling.
And the best thing is... she knows Lottie's too.
