Chapter Text
James sighed as he walked around the motel. From what he recalled, only Him, Aiden, Riyan, Fiore, Miriam, Ellie, Barry, Dahlia and William never went to the motel..... so he broke a record! But he hated being the only one at the motel. At least tomarrow night someone else was gonna be here.
Heading towards the open lobby like room, better the nothing. He wanted something to do. They weren't alowed to be on social media or contact anyone while here, because of legal reasons with spoiling the season.
At entering the room, he saw a tape that said Episode 2 on it. Right, they were told that people at the loser motel could watch the episodes early before they air on tv.
Shurgging, James slid the tape in as he sat on the couch. This could be fun.
"Previously on Disventure Camp. We went around the world in my very expensive private jet to collect all the players for this epic season. Some reunions were friendly and tender, while others...not so much. We finally returned to Camp Tipiskaw where the campers were forced out of a plane. Their parachutes revealed the color of their new team. All 24 campers are now on their way to their respective camps. Now the lingering question is... who will suffer the humiliating title of being the first voted out?"
"That's really nice." James rolled his eyes at hearing Kristal's naration for the intro.
As he watched Dahlia land, and proceed to get nervous about not finding her two friends, he thought of Aiden a little, she was really nervous. But also surprised, her and Barry were the couple? It seemed her and Iris spent more time together. But he didn't know Barry's whole situation yet.
But clearly the three were super close....... even if what Aiden said was true, Barry was seprated for 7 months from them..... again, not his palce.
He winced at seeing Ashley land on Fiore. He knew Fiore was a villain, but she was also a kid, to him, he wouldn't do that.
"I wasn’t lying, I’d never used a parachute before, but I definitely chose to land on Fiore. Far as I'm concerned, even though I'd never wish pain to a little girl, she deserved worse than a kick to the head."
James blinked at hearing that, he didn't hear anyone bring that up! What was that! that was messed up to hear someone said. Rosa would be upset to hear that too!
He watched Jake, Tom and Miriam interact and rolled his eyes at how Jake was behaving, he got it a tiny bit, but still was burned by how Jake treated him.
He chuckled at seein how he interacted with Lake and Aiden, before frowning at seeing how upset Aiden got when he left.
It hurt so much seeing Aiden in pain and not being able to help him.
Watching Ellie, Gabby and Sophia interact got a chuckle. Ellie being the calm one to Gabby and Sophia's bigger energy was amusing. It seemed like Cyan wasn't as much of a hot mess as Magenta was.
He could see how the players were interacting. Tom and Tess were the ones more alone on Cyan at FIrst. Gabby had Ellie. Aiden had Lake. And Sophia had Blake.
But even then, the whole point of this was the three seasons bonding/interacting.
James didn't feel alright with the tone Ashley and Jake used with Fiore. Sure she did stuff on season 1, but again, being an older brother, it rubbed him the wrong way.
He was taken aback at Barry storaming into the camera and insantly being hostile towards jake and Ashley.
“She made that fake flag that won you the first challenge, Will was being too big of a pussy to slide down the log ride, yes, Fiore left you all to look for the Totem, but she still showed up for a change to win, but Will threw it hard, and then tried to let her take the fall for his fears. Saying she was evil, that didn't make you lose then, it was him being too much of a coward to go down a hill. Plus she did do her fear, not losing again." Barry said
James nodded gently, he barley got to interact with Fiore, but if Barry said was true, Ashley was projecting
"Nick screwed your guys change to win the dueling challenge, and did no help in the rowing, so she put in more effort then sabbotage there." Hunter said.
James chuckled, when Hunter got like this, it was most likely true, Hunter was a thinker.
"Plus...... you, Lill, and Ellie all failed to eat the disgusting cooking Alec made.” Dahlia sheepishly added.
James blinked in surprise, he didn't expect her of all people to comment, it was a little funny at hearing her point something out too.
James shook his head, he really was oblivious with how much camp was heated when he got there.
It was a bit depressing, maybe he could of done something to stop all the drama..... or just make it worse.
Watching the yellow team now, he was worried for Connor. Riya was just gonna hurt him in the end.
He was surprised at Miriam calling Grett a human hemorrhoid, but that was past history, before he shook his head at how Yul behaved. Grett deserved better then that...... but still wished Yul got better.
Seeing Riya get pissed at William was amusing to see, and he felt bad for Iris. The girl cleary wasn't ready for villains to be her teamate.
James smiled at seeing Hunter tring his best to remember what Ally liked, before frowning at Jake and Ashley continuing to belittle Fiore, and waiting to do it till after some of them left? that felt wrong.
He did hold a chuckle in a little at seeing how Barry treated FIore, it was like how he treated his sister, before getting confused at hearing Barry use "Mumpsimus." he never heard that word before, nor was he fully sure Barry used that word right, before James sat up straight when he heard Barry's voice go cold. That wasn't the inocent, cheerful person he heard Dahlia and Iris talk about on the plane for 2 hours.
As the yellow team at night was being shown, James raised a brow at Iris taking a pill in the confessional, he didn't know she had pills..... but it looked like she only had a few in her hands. Not enough for two months.
James now concluded Yellow team was the biggest hot mess right now.
Yul was cuasing shit. Riya was too. Iris was scared of mostly everyone, William seemed done with everyone's shit, it was amazingly shit.
He didn't remember what happened with Fiore or Alec, but clearly there was some pasts issues from season 1.
Barry having her back like that was possibly a bad idea with how many people didn't seem to like Fiore.
"I know who she is. Just because she's a villain, doesn't mean I should treat her like she's worthless, no one should feel that way..... but I guess you know a little too much about making people feel like that.....considering you were married"
James almost choked on his drink, hot damn that was more cold then anything he heard Yul say, that was one that was aimed for the throat!
How did no one notice Barry held his tounge longer then they all thought?
At Aiden mentioning James always helping with thunderstorms, it got James smiling, he would always have Aiden's back.
James felt bad for Lake, having to recal that terrible night with her parents.... he had to do better with keeping in touch with her after this ended. She was their friend too....... but she was also super busy.
James shook his head at Tom causing another fight with Ellie. Maybe Jake and him were made for each other, they really caused shit a lot.
Watching the drama with Magenta was still in James mind, and it was two nights ago!
Ashley wasn't right, Fiore was getting some of those apples form what Barry showed...... he hoped it got better for Magenta..... nah. They had Jake on the team.
James did scowl at Jake and Ashley not wanting him to help Aiden, after all the shit they gave Fiore, he understands where Barry was coming from now.
James winced at how badly they went at the animals, him and Dahlia were winners and they went for the hard ones first...... not the smartest when he's watching it.
Expesilly at seeing Gabby, Ellie, Tess and Sophia manage the animals better then Magenta was already doing. Why did they split the genders again?
Seeing Magenta and Cyan fight was good too, before blinking at seeing his former teamates deal with teh goat, or Ally snapping at Fiore and Barry tackling the goat, before chuckling at Dahlia and Iris's confessons about Barry.
He was impressed with how Iris and Riya got the wolf. He didn't think they would smoovly get it down like that.
James wasn't amused at seeing Jake and Alec talk. The fact Jake beleived Alec like that after their season and think Aiden would cheat on him still annoyed him. Jake was an idiot who was being coddled by Ashley.
Losing the first challenge stung because they made a poor early choice. But he was curious about the votes.
Ashey got two votes, and from what he saw, he knew it was Barry and Dahlia. Nither of them had issues with him. But she clearly was following Barry's idea there, even if flawed.
So Fiore got two votes from Hunter and Ally...... clearly Hunter knew no one was voting for her and wanted to prove something to Ashley and Jake...... they were stupid for not playing a smarter game.
He of course voted for Jake. He implied Aiden was cheating, and got hostile over everything, but he was the bad guy for getting angry? Ashley's apolgy confessional wasn't even good, she was defending the fact she sided with Jake who was being a bitch!
Of course Fiore jumped onto that vote because she was scared.... he didn't blame her, but if would of been smarter to go for Ashley, since she'd know it would be three votes then, expesilly if Hunter and Ally were voting for her.
Maybe he should of tried to not cause as much fighitng, but he wanted to behave for Aiden...... oh man Aiden was gonna be so upset hen he found out he was gone.... he couldn't doubt how Aiden was gonna play. He was strong. He would fight back, expesilly with Lake there to back him up!
Plush he'll enjoy seeing Jake get out for fucking up the first vote the way he did, he knows Magenta wasn't gonna play ball with the two season 1 players.
James rubbed his eyes as the episode ended. It could of been worse. He didn't look like a complete ass like last time. He went out knowing he was right, and he didn't beleive an idiot's conspiracy idea.
He was trusting Aiden will be alright. He was already a strong fighter, d he was gonna fight till he couldn't anymore.
The next day was just as boring.
lying on the couch, he despied being here with how quiet it really was, besides the staff coming and going.
James was waiting for the next player to show up, he coulnd't see the enxt episode till tomarrow, and no one was here to do anything with it! So he was boredly scrolled through his phone as he heard the loser bus pull up. Getting up, he walked over to the door and opened it and blinked as he saw Oliver filming a girl with red hair.
"Lake?" James asked, what the hell happened in the last two days?!
And how was Aiden reacting to this?! What the hell was going on!
