Normal day on the Argo II
They were going over the coast of the US, the crew only barely passing New Mexico's border and about an hour into Arizona. Leo, down in the engine room was struggling, Bouffard was being a little sh- and not letting him clean him, so in frustration, he just went back to driving the ship. Jason passing by asked Leo “Hey how much longer till we get to Camp Jupiter?” the mechanic simply flashes a stupid grin and gestures vaguely “Till we find a hippie, Superman. That's what you Californians are, right?” The mechanic grabs the windex from a supply closet and tried, key word tried, to clean the sassy table. But to avail by the Windex hating hunk of wood.
This, along with Leo being annoyed and thus far being so sleep deprived he also walked off the edge of the ship. He decided he needed help. So he landed the ship on the edge of the city of Phoenix, Arizona and set off. Table in tow, whilst the others went for food he found a flyer. Just posted on a random tree ‘CASTRO CLEANING SERVICES - Come to my house at ********* ST- CASTRO
SERVICIOS DE LIMPIEZA, Ven a mi casa para obtener información ********* St. Contact: Mierya Castro” the thought intrigued him, could he temporarily offload his sassy table to some random mortal cleaner. So he left. The ladies house was far past the city limit and into the dry desert air. Eventually, after an hour of a dramatic desert scene, he sees a rickety old saloon converted into a house. Full cowboy vibes- was that a tumbleweed?! There was an old dirt pathway leading to the house. He knocked on the door tentatively. What the house was lacking in grandeur, cleanliness and not looking straight out of a wild west movie just with different doors, was homeyness? The house vaguely smelled of cleaning product, sawdust and fresh baked cookies. The door opened, a girl Leo's height, with a similar stature to him (5’5, skinny, tan, with the same small hands). The girl tentatively smiled, speaking softly and nervously, “Hello” the door was open only enough to see the girl. Not the inside. “I saw the flyer for the cleaning service, are you Mierya?” He asked curiously, tapping his foot in excitement. The girl shifted slightly and shook her head “That's my mom, come on she’s in the back”. The girl closed the door behind her and led Leo to the back of the house. She was quiet and walked softly, the girl, in the hot summer weather was wearing a lavender dress and worn down brown doc martens. Her skin was tan and hands looked rough with callouses along her palm. As they walked, Leo using a random abandoned wheelbarrow he stole (ahem borrowed) from a random construction site to carry Bufford. They eventually made it to a garage just outside, it wasn't big, or expensive but it smelled of wood varnish, stain, sawdust and Fabuloso. A woman, tall, lean and strong.
