Atsuko was full of hope that day. She woke up and was getting out of bed.. but then a second after, she felt a winch. She looked down to see the worst. She managed to stub her toe with one of the parts of the bed.
-Oh well, at least it's not a school day- she thought. -I can play videogames all day until i fall asleep!- But then, when she had almost turned on her computer, there was no light.
-Huh? Is my computer malfunctioning? She said,but when she was turning on the light to see, she realized with horror. It wasn't the computer. The power was off.
-Well..at least i can go to the library...
Her eyes lost her shine when she saw the sign in the front.
"Sorry, the library is closed! We're renovating so we can have more books for you" it said.
She went back home, a frown on her face. She rolled on a blanket and sniffled, almost to cry.
-I think i might just sleep today...
But suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
-Huh? Who is there? I don't usually get any guests home. She murmured.
She opened the door with a groan to see Zim. He wasn't the type of person to visit people, she thought. -Why are you here?
-Oh, nothing. Just felt like.. you needed help.- he said, with a bit of embarassment.
-You...really are something.
She hugged Zim tightly.
-Am i right?
-Yes, you are..
She invited him in and told him everything.
-Your simple human problems are sickening to me.
-Yeah yeah, but it's just so important for me..
-Come here.
He patted Atsuko's head. Atsuko gave in and took a deep breath.
-Thank you.. can we cuddle longer?
-Yeah..but don't get used to it.
