Chapter 1: Morning
Chapter Text
Piper had just woken up after a restless and difficult night. The memories of tormented dreams were still floating in her mind, but this morning the atmosphere seemed calmer. She turned her head towards her radio alarm clock, dazzled by the morning light, and realized that it was about 7.45 a.m.
She pulled her bare feet out of the bed, the freshness of the tiled floor, making her shudder slightly. As she walked towards the bathroom, she felt a strange feeling: she knew she was at home, but there was something different, something she couldn't identify.
On her way out of her room, she encountered a familiar silhouette in the hallway.
"Well, well," the silhouette said to her with a smile, "for once, i'm the early riser".
Piper's heart slowed down. It couldn't have been possible. There was no logic to that. Prue, her beloved sister, who had lost so much, who had been... dead. Piper felt overwhelmed by a wave of emotions. She approached slowly, as if she were afraid that this vision would evaporate.
"Piper. Prue exclaimed as she looked up, a bright smile illuminating her face. "Have you finally decided to get out of the land of dreams?" ”
Piper stopped, her thoughts messed. "Prue, but you are..." She looked for her words, her slightly trembling hands. "You were... dead. ”
Prue squinted her eyes, a mixture of confusion and concern on her face. "I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm here now. You look a little lost, sister. ”
"Maybe you just need a good cocoa to wake up completely," Prue proposed with a reassuring smile. "Come, sit down. ”
Piper hesitated for a moment, her heart beating the belt. She walked towards the couch, sitting in front of Prue. Everything seemed so normal and yet so unreal. Tears began to flow on his cheeks, tears of joy mixed with deep gratitude.
"Prue, I'm so happy to see you." She exclaimed as she stood up to hold her in her arms. She clenched her forcefully, crying with relief and happiness.
"I'm here, Piper," Prue murmured, clutching her hard against her. "I'm here. ”

Piper couldn't understand. It was impossible, and yet Prue was indeed alive there. She was convinced that she was not dreaming.
She tried to ask for something, but her mind was beset by confusion. Suddenly, a cheerful van sound resonated in the air, evoking the signal of an ice merchant.
"But... it's not possible. Cole?" She cried, her thoughts swirling.
In front of her, Cole Turner, the prosecutor's deputy, stood there, wearing a strange clown wig. He distributed balloons to the children with a cheerful smile. Behind him, a more disturbing spectacle was presented to Piper: Zankou, whom she would have recognized between a thousand. Sitting on a chair, he played the bandoneon, dragging the assembly into a catchy melody.
Piper felt increasingly perplexed. What did all this mean? Why were these enemies gathered in this absurd picture? She was torn between anger and confusion, desperately seeking an explanation.
The bright colors, children's laughter and cheerful music seemed to make fun of her tormented state of mind. Everything seemed so familiar and at the same time so far away.

But Prue, these people are demons.
Prue stared at Piper with a surprise air, her eyes magnifying at the disbelief of her sister.
- Demons? What are you talking about? And then, what exactly is a demon?
Panic slowly took to Piper, a silent panic that manifested itself in the trembling of his hands and the shadow that darkened his gaze. Her thoughts swirled, the memories of their previous confrontations with obscure creatures reneging her, like echoes of a past that did not want to stay buried.
As she tried to find her words, an unexpected noise interrupted their exchange. Mr. Bean, with his clumsy pace and contagious good humour, approached the duo of musicians while playing the tambourine, his cheerful presence creating a striking contrast with the tension that reigned around them. The truck, which carried the mysterious "demons", slowly moved away, leaving behind a trail of dust and doubt.
"Listen, Piper," resumed Prue, "I know you seem a little tired." Maybe we should have breakfast together. It will do you good. Then you can put down your day and rest.
She paused, realizing the weight of her words.
I'm bored, but P2 can't work without you.
This sentence struck Piper as a punch. She already felt overwhelmed, the pressure of their responsibilities accumulating on her shoulders. Piper's eyes began to mist, and she felt stars dancing in front of her sight. Before she could react, a vertigo invaded her, and everything became dark.
Piper had lost consciousness.

He gently carried her on his shoulder,to the bed.
"So, how's she doing?" Prue asked, her gaze of concern.
He sketched a slight smile. "I'm not a doctor, but she doesn't have a fever."
Prue frowned her eyebrows, visibly preoccupied. "That's strange. She was talking about completely incoherent things, and now she faints as soon as I mention the P2. But that's how she called her club..."
"Yes," replied the man, the pensive air. "That's really surprising."

Prue rose gently and went to the kitchen, hesitating to go down to see her sister Piper, who was sleeping deeply. She thought she could prepare a tray for her.
The man had gone, and Prue knew that she also had work to do. So she decided to write a word for Piper to let her know that she was thinking of her.

Piper woke up later, the sun gently filtered through the curtains. She blinked, surprised to discover a tray lined with tempering dishes next to her. The fragrance of hot pancakes and maple syrup floated in the air, waking its senses. She stood upright, with a smile drawn on her face when she saw the delicacy of the arrangement.
The tray looked delicious. Fresh fruit was harmoniously arranged, and a cup of hot chocolate fuming waited to be savored. She could not resist and began to eat, with each mouthful warming her heart. The first spoonful of pancake melting in her mouth was a real treat.
It was then that she remembered Prue's remark, an echo of the past that still reverberated in her mind. P2. This simple mention had awakened in her an intense nostalgia. In her original world, she owned a club, but it was called P3. A tribute to Prue, of course, but also to Phoebe, an institution that had seen so many memories parade.
But thinking about it, Piper wondered if P2 didn't mean that her relationship with Phoebe was different in this world. Maybe they didn't have the same strong bond she had known before. A wave of concern seized her. Where was Phoebe? She had not yet seen her sister, or even heard her name since her arrival.
Piper laid down his fork and leaned against the wall, lost in his thoughts. The P3 was much more than just a club. It was a sanctuary of love, laughter and music, a place where she had shared precious moments with her sisters and friends. The evenings spent dancing, discussing the affairs of life, supporting each other in their adventures - these memories were engraved in her heart.
"The P2," she murmured for herself, a nostalgic smile on her lips. She imagined what this place might look like. Perhaps a mixture of the warm atmosphere of the P3 and a touch of novelty, a space where people could gather, have fun and create unforgettable memories. In honor of Prue, who would certainly be proud, but also of Phoebe, even if their relationship seemed different here.
While continuing to savour her breakfast, Piper began to think about the possibilities. Maybe she could revisit the idea of the club, adapt it to this new world while preserving the minds of her sisters. "Yes, I could do it," she thought. “The P2 could become a place of gathering, a space of joy and solidarity, as Prue would have liked. ”
She rose, a new energy traversing her body. Projects and dreams began to emerge in his mind. But Phoebe's concern persisted. She promised to go in search, to discover what had changed between them and to make sure that, despite everything, fraternal love was still there, solid and unshakeable.
