Sunnyside Ocs of Cora

Summary:

This is a story relating to my ocs and some others from the upcoming web series Sunnyside: Royals of Cora. I’ve been hyperfixated for quite a while now and now I want to make a fanfiction. I think I’m the first to make one.

Chapter Text

Horace barged into Amelia and Iris’ room with a half-awake Falcon right behind him. Horace was fully dressed and awake while Falcon still had a blanket wrapped around him.

Horace had a giant grin on his face, his hair was golden, straight with maroon tips, that went with his tan skin. He wore a red and white striped shirt with a golden sash adorned with hourglass and clock symbols. He wore navy blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Falcon’s skin was a bit darker than Horace’s and his eyes were a forest green. His blanket had creature and plants all over in colors of indigo, orange, yellow, and green. His glasses were poorly put on, and he had a look that was ready to explode at any minute.

“WAKE UP LADIESSSSS!!” Horace shouted at the top of his lungs, waking both the Colour Royal Iris and the Crystal Royal Amelia up.

“Are you SERIOUS Horace?!” Amelia said in a grumpy manner. Her dark purple, yet thick and wavy hair with a pinkish streak was messy and her blanket was off the bed, showing her long nightgown beneath.

“I really should’ve worn those pins overnight.” Thought Amelia as she moved her hair out of the way.

“YEAH!” Horace replied. “It’s time for school!”

”We have three hours moron.” Falcon replied.

Iris chimed in, her long hair was not in its usual multicolored pigtails with both hair bands on her nightstand, and a few stuffed animals on the ground. Her pajamas were in a tartan pattern and she always looked worried about something.

“Let me sleep!” She said in a quiet, and tearful tone. She grabbed a stuffed toy that was beside her and hugged it tightly.

“Grow up Iris.” Said Amelia as she grabbed her comforter off the floor.

Amelia’s room had a construction diorama right in the middle of the room. Several pouches were hanging on the walls, which were adorned with the finest jewelry, paint, and patterns made off the best materials which were almost exclusive to royals.

“I’m leaving.” Falcon said as Horace turned around to see his friend walk back to his and Horace’s room. “I got stuff to do.” He continued.

”No, WAIT!!” Horace let out his hand, which originally was holding his signature clock necklace, which looked absolutely ridiculous on him, but he loved it, Horace even used it to defeat a student in Core Resistance, which Mr. Topaz wasn’t surprised that Horace even did such a thing.

Falcon turned around, his blanket, then was dropped to the floor. he was fully clothed alongside Horace. With ripped pants at his knees and a vest with a polo shirt.

“I’ll go work on Ms. Helibe’s assignment. You can be as crazy as you’d like.”

Horace was bursting with energy and was fidgeting with his necklace.

Horace sighed. “Fiiinnnee.” Horace rolled his eyes.

“Why can’t he have any fun?” Horace thought to himself, he slammed the door to Amelia and Iris’ room which made the house slightly tremble.

“Horace,” Falcon said in a stern tone. “This house is sentient, you can’t just do that.”

“Uggghhhh! I don’t CARE ANIMAL BOY!” Horace fought back in a sassy tone, trying to act more like how he always acts.

Horace couldn’t think of anything else to say, so he just called Falcon a nerd yet another time.

Falcon went back to his room. Flora and fauna patterns surrounded his side of the room. His desk was as messy as his hair and random creatures were on his bed. He hadn’t made his bed yet and his bookshelf was the only thing that was neat, only because it had both his bubblecases and he hadn’t finished reading the first book he started to read once arriving at Sunnyside, which wasn’t too long ago.

Horace, on the other hand, swung his clock necklace around, trying to get some form of stimulation, it was dark outside, and he suspected that Syneffa, the cloud princess at Sunnyside, was still in her night dress, which Falcon kept asking her about it despite knowing her longer than Horace did. Horace had gotten a bad rap for being friends with one of the resident mixed royals at Sunnyside: Corentin, mixed between Wind and deception, who was feared and looked down upon by both students and teachers alike. Corentin was still a heir either way, which surprised many. But Horace didn’t care. Once in Corran History, Horace and the Star heir Crescenta argued against the water heir River about classism with the whole class silently watching, including the headmistress Ms. Ayla.

Horace then decided to get up and confront Falcon. His palms were a bit sweaty because he feared that Falcon might’ve been put-off by him, but he just wanted to give everyone a great, fun time before they had to rule or put themselves into another line of work.

A knock was heard on the door, separating Horace and Falcon. Falcon was reading an alchemy textbook in silence. He didn’t have many friends outside of River, Hazel, and especially Horace. Falcon knew Hazel, the flora heir since they were young. Flora was only allies with Fauna, and were quite isolated as opposed to other kingdoms, especially the Kingdom of Stars, long after the incident that is. But both kingdoms used to be allies. Falcon tried to talk to Hazel’s bastardized cousin Lavender, but wasn’t able to due to him being locked up for so long. He wondered about him, after losing his mother right after birth and all.

“Come on in.” Falcon said hesitantly. He wanted to be left alone, but Horace was a bit like sunshine, you don’t wanna look at it but you need it anyways.

“Horace opened the door and slid in, slipping on the wooden floors and onto his head.
Falcon laughed in return.

“Holy moly bro!” Falcon replied in delight. “You really ARE a clown!” Horace quickly got up, he rubbed the back of his head.
“That’s what I do!” Horace made guns with his fingers and winked at his friend, almost forgetting what he was gonna say.

“So, we good? We still got a couple hours left!” He said, trying to make a subtle apology towards Falcon.

“Yeah, we’re cool.” Falcon tried to smile.

“Please don’t lie to me Falc.” Horace said worryingly.

“Just give me some time Clown Boy.” Falcon replied reassuringly. “Just shut that door and mind your business.”

Horace walked out, eyes and head down, and slumped his shoulders. Horace slammed the door another time.

“Please don’t slam the door!” Falcon shouted.

“Nerd.” Horace said to himself.

Notes:

Ok so the mentioned character Lavender belongs to my discord opp Entropy.

Horace, Falcon, Amelia, and Iris belong to me.
The rest belong to the SROC crew. Sorry for the baby chapter, I promise that longer chapters will come.
