Work Text:

“Dinner tonight?” Cecil asked. Manuel leaned on the wall. “I dunno..” He drawled. “C’monn..” Cecil whined. “We haven’t had a night together in so long.” He grinned, His arms wrapping around Manuel’s waist. Manuel leaned into it, grinning. Cecil felt someone brush against him and he stiffened. “Dr.Morgenstern.” Cecil said, pulling away. The doctor nodded curtly before walking off. Cecil looked around. “Come with me,” He mumbled, grabbing Manuel’s wrist and taking off down the hall, the two giggling.

They enter the elevator, their eyes locking and hands intertwining. “Haynes.” Someone says, their authoritative voice cutting through. “..Dr. Jensen.” He pulls away, pressing himself to the back of the elevator. “Where are the films for the kid in 2?” “Uh.. Radiology’s backed up. We– I’m heading there right now.” Cecil nodded. Jensen looked between the two. “Blood alcohol from that GSW?” “..’S on his chart.” “Good.” Jensen nodded. Manuels hand sneakily meets Cecil’s behind his back. “I want you scrubbing in on that appendectomy at 4.” Jensen says, looking at his pager. “..Yes sir.” Cecil said curtly. The doors parted finally, and Manuel and Cecil hastily left the elevator, Jensen eyes lingering on them for a moment.

“That was close.” Manuel whispers. Cecil’s eyes darted to him, a grin spreading across his face. He checked his watch. “..I have two hours.” The two slipped into a dim radiology room.

“That’s more than enough time.” Manuel said, pressing Cecil to the table behind him. “Oh, is it?” Cecil teased, his hands slipping underneath Manuel’s scrub shirt, grabbing at the soft skin underneath. Manuel’s breath hitched. “You’re handsy today.” He murmured. Cecil looked up at him through thick eyelashes.

Manuel leaned onto Cecil, his breath warm and light against Cecil’s neck. Cecil leaned back, pulling his legs up onto the table with him, giving Manuel room.

Manuel adorned Cecil’s pale neck with kisses. Cecil’s grip on him tightened as Manuel propped a knee onto the table to lean into him further. Cecil’s heart pounded as their lips met, their foreheads bumping into each other. Cecil had to come up for air, a needy sound leaving him.

“I can’t believe I have you all to myself,” Manuel grinned into another kiss, his sharp canine sinking into Cecil’s upper lip, leaving it a rosy color. They let their hands wander, both ending up on the table, bumping Cecil’s back against the x-ray presentation screen.

A soft beeping noise started, crescendoing until it became annoying. “Paging Dr. Flores?” Cecil quipped, his hands tangling in Manuel’s hair. Manuel’s eyes darted to his pager. He unclipped it from his waistband, sliding it across the table. “..I’m sure it can wait.” He breathed out. Cecil grinned, leaning back in, before a thought occurred to him.

“Shit.” Manuel’s eyes fluttered open, pulling away from him. “What?” He asked. “..What time is it..?” Manuel checks his watch. “..A quarter till four.” Cecil slipped off the table, tucking his scrub top back in and dusting himself off. “I have to.. to scrub in at four.” Manuel sighed sadly, untangling from him. “I know, I’m sorry baby..” Cecil said softly. “After our shift? I’ll make it up to you. Let me take you to that nice place I mentioned earlier.” Manuel rolled his eyes, grinning. “I just might take you up on that.”
