Her white, knee-high boots hurriedly clanked against the silver tile.
The speaker started, “Students, you have ten minutes left to find your team. Make haste.”
Large red circles were scattered about the floor, pulsing faintly with magical resonance.
“Oops, sorry! I thought you were someone else!” she continuously apologized while poking her head throughout the semi complete groups standing within the red rings.
“This’ll be harder than I thought,” she mumbled to herself.
“Students, remember, you can always look up if you need assistance,” the speaker echoed again.
She halted and looked around, cheeks flushed red, as she drew out a small rectangular slip of paper with the number 404 printed on it from the folds of her white pleated skirt. Her eyes explored the ceiling. 515… 427… 408… 404.
A toothy grin tugged at her lips as she leapt towards the people who would become her future.
