Chapter Text
TeeTee's mornings were always the same, wake up at 7 am, eat breakfast and off to work he goes. The café opened at nine but he liked to be there an hour earlier to prepare everything. Call him a professional, but he actually loved his job, he loved the people that would come in, different people.
Sure there was horrible customers, crazy people, but again that was part of the job and he always saw the positive in everything.
8:45 AM
At nine he would be alone until eleven when the other barista would come in and help him during rush hour, he worked with his two best friends, Kong and Save, they met at Uni, when TeeTee entered the wrong classroom and sat next to Kong whom just laughed it off and told him where to go, Save was next to him. And after that they were inseparable.
King Kong
- you're there early aren't you ?
Save Him
why do you even ask? of course he is..-
Baby Tee
its kind of obvious, he's obsessed with me -
King Kong
- full of yourself, stfu
TeeTee put his phone in his pocket, immediately putting on an apron, turning the coffee machine on and sighing happily. He adores his job so much, he wouldn't choose to work anywhere else.
9:00 AM
Tee flipped the sign to Open and immediately went behind the counter, about three people walked in and thats how TeeTee's day started.
"Good Morning! What can i get for you?"
"A Cappuccino please."
1:00 PM
"Kong could you please make two iced matchas with strawberry syrup in it?"
"Coming right up, Tee!"
"Thank youuu.. Hi! What can I get for you?"
"One Iced caramel latte please." The pale man spoke up whilst he typed on his phone.
"Coming right up, sir!" TeeTee responded happily, he did a small double take at the man in front of him, almost bumping with Kong and immediately apologizing, he decided to make the coffee this time giving the fact that it was mainly calm and Kong was cleaning up some tables.
He wondered what kind of serious looking man would order such a sweet drink, but he didn't put much thought into it.
"That'll be 152,72฿, please!" He beamed but the man didn't even spare him a glance nor a smile, placing 170฿ on the counter and nodding a "Thank You." before going to sit down at a table, opening his laptop and immediately focusing on the screen.
Immediately, Kong appeared from the back, whispering. "Damn, he didn't even spare you a glance.." He let out a giggle as Teetee pouted at him. his favorite thing was to make people smile and happy with his coffee and well his attitude. Everyone left the café with a smile on their faces. So if this pale man turned out to be a regular he was going to turn him into his new mission to make him smile at least once. "No one leaves this café without a smile."
Tuesday, 1:00 PM
"Kong one matcha latte for table four please! Save can you cut the tiramisu cake for the same table please?"
"Yes Boss!"
Teetee turned to the counter when he realized someone was standing in front of it, waiting to order. "I'm sorry ! Hi! What can i-" As he looked up, he saw those familiar big eyes, pale skin, and that classy outfit, it was Grumpy Man! Yep he gave him a nickname, for now. "Ah hi again! What would you like this time?" He smiled politely at him hoping to get a smile in return.
"One iced caramel latte, please." The man spoke up, once again typing on his phone, it was like a deja vu for Teetee.
"Coming right up!" He repeated himself from yesterday, while he made his coffee, he thought of a few things that could bring someone to smile, but some of them wouldn't be appropiate giving the fact that they didn't know each other..
"That'll be 1-" He didn't even finish his sentence as Grumpy Man plaaced 170 baht on the counter, nodding a "Thank you" and leaving to sit down at a table, with his laptop.
Teetee huffed, defeated once again, he was not going to give up though. One way or another he was going to bring a smile to that man's face. "Game on, Grumpy man."
"With who are you talking to, Tee..?" Save spoke up a little concerned while tapping Teetee on the shoulder, he looked at Kong and mumbled, I think too much coffee making has made him gone mad.. While Teetee, huffed again, looking at his friends, explaining his situation to them, and all he got was shaking heads. "What? You think its weird?"
"No it's sweet, but how are you going to try to make him smile..? With coffee? That he already orders?"
"I have my ways.."
Wednesday, 2:00 PM
Teetee was worried, maybe the man had heard him about his plan and decided to never come again. His intention was not to make him uncomfortable. He just wanted to see the smile on everyones faces and he wanted to be the reason. He was a little disappointed at the fact the man decided to not com- "Hello? Are you okay? Hello.." Pale man waved his hand over Tee's face, trying to get him out of whatever trance he was in.
Teetee realized who just talked to him, who he was making wait, he snapped back to reality, bowing and apologizing like a thousand times. "One iced caramel latte.. on the house." Tee, announced, again making the coffee himself, peeking to see if there was any reaction to what he just said. The only thing he saw was the man tipping him, putting 200 baht in the tip jar. So Tee placed the coffee on the counter and before the other man could leave, Teetee spoke up. "Wait there's something else!" He quickly went to the kitchen and grabbed slice of Kongs special tiramisu cake that everyone loved. He placed it on a plate and brought it to the counter. "This is in the house too, i have a feeling you're a new regular, or i hope so." He bowed out of respect and thanking him.
The other man, was a little taken aback, yet what he did after was unexpected and made Teetee's day even better, he let out a small chuckle, a tiny smile on his lip whilst he grabbed his coffee and cake. "Thank you.. Teetee" He read his nametag. "I guess you do have a new regular." He walked to his usual table, leaving Teetee speechless because that was the cutest, most handsome man to ever exist, and he smiled at him. And he was so sure he was not going to let go of the fact he said his name so casually with his soft voice.
Thank You Teetee.
Ohmygod he was developing a crush on a customer..
Thursday, 12:00 PM
"So you have a small crush on him, and so what? That's how i met Auau.. though I kind of poured his coffee on him after he complained and he said that was attractive of me. I don't know my boyfriend is weird.." Save spoke with his mouth full of tiramisu cake.
"I don't even know anything about him.. for God's sake i call him either Pale man or Grumpy man!" Teetee whined as he hid his head between his hands, even kneeling down in defeat. He looked at Kong and grabbed his pants, pulling on them in a pleading way, making his best inpression of an abandoned puppy face.
"What..? " Kong asked a little confused, trying to look disgusted, yet he ended up laughing instead. "What should i do? Act on it? not act on it? Help me guys!" Teetee whined again, shaking his head and rubbing his face on Kong's pants. "I think.. you should act on it. I don't think you've ever felt like this.. at least not after your ex I mean." Kong sighed and shook his head at the memory of Teetee being heartbroken, days of not going out, helping him get out of bed. He didn't wanna see his friend like that again but.. maybe this time would be different.
Teetee stood up, taking a deep breath and looking at his two best friends with a determined face. "And so the courting starts.. do you think he'll fall for my flirting? Have you guys even seen-"
"Good evening." The Pale man spoke as Teetee was about to mention him, making the said man's ears go red, if he had walked in a second later, he would've probably heard what he was saying about Grumpy man. "A-Ah! Good- Good Evening.. same as always?" The man behind the counter nodded, as Teetee went to work, his two friends smirked as they realiyed now who his friend was suddenly so head over heels for. As Teetee finished making the coffee, he placed it on the counter, not even bothering to say the price anymore since he knew the man was going to pay as always the same amount of money. But before he could leave he had to know something. "Oh wait!" He grew a little nervous when the Pale man looked at him, yet he stood his guard and cleared his throat. "May i have your name? Since um.. you're a regular here.. you know so i can just-"
"Por."
"Pardon?"
"Por Suppakarn Jirachotikul, but you can just call me Por." He smiled politely again, turning around and sitting at his usual table.
Por Suppakarn Jirachotikul.
Even his name was as beautiful as him.
"Teetee? Are you there? Earth to Tee?" He could hear save in the distance but he couldn't get a certain pale boy out of his head. "We lost him Kong.."
Get ready P'Por, because you'll face Teetee's flirting when you least expect it.
