Technically, Edd didn’t mean to do that. I mean, not in that way at least.
But he did, and now Tord wouldn’t stop giving him mean glares from behind the icepack pressed to his face.
It had been such a rough morning for Edd. His clothes all sweaty and gross because the room was too hot, this also meant that his hair was all sweaty and gross! That’s 2 inconveniences so far.
He sat up in bed, checked the time from his phone that was way too bright. 10:23. He’d slept through his alarm. That makes 3.
Fine, he wasn't gonna throw a hissy fit over an annoying morning.
He moved up out of bed. Too quick, his body decided. Everything went black, and his head pounded. He stood for a few minutes letting his vision come back. Of course, the headache didn’t go away. Just his luck. No yeah, cool, great, that makes 4.
He went to take his supplements that were supposed to keep his iron levels stable (but never did), and of course, they were out. Are you kidding?! He had specifically told Tord to pick up more the next time he was out! But nooo! That’s just to difficult for Tord!
Fine. 5.
He stormed out of his room to go give Tord a proper lecture, and there he was, frying up bacon for him.
How could Edd stay mad at him? With the scent of his favorite treat wafting through the air, maybe he could get through the day. Maybe he’d been overreacting. His boyfriend was a little absent-minded from time to time, but that didn’t mean he deserved to be yelled at!
Edd walks in, plants a kiss on Tord’s head, and reaches for a strip of bacon.
Smack!
Tord swatted his hand away like he was just some common crook! Edd bought the bacon in the first place! Of course he was gonna fight back a little!
Smack!
You know, Edd really has to work on his strength control, especially with his powers.
Because Tord is now spotting a huge red mark on his arm, and his face is the pinnacle of betrayal.
There was a deafening silence that followed. Edd was the first to speak.
”I- didn’t mean to do that,” was all that he was able to manage.
