Chapter Text
“I’m… really sorry for everything.”
Harumi didn’t dare look at him, they couldn’t. As they both stared into the sunset on the balcony of the Monastery, Harumi wondered when the other would speak. They were quiet, and neither said a peep until exactly 5 minutes had passed.
“I tried to move on from what you did, but I just... couldn’t,” Lloyd’s voice was shaky as he spoke. “I’m happy that you switched sides, even if I can’t forgive you for… some of the things you’ve done,” Lloyd expressed, shifting his position on the balcony to face them.
Understandable, Harumi thought. Shuddering at the memory of when they broke his heart into a million pieces.
Harumi kept quiet, so Lloyd added “So, what are you going to do now?” Harumi pondered that question. What were they going to do? They hadn’t thought about that. After they were resurrected, they had no freedom outside of serving the Crystal King.
For the first time in Harumi’s life, they felt they had no purpose. Their anger and hatred had driven them for many years. Without that, they had no clue what to do next.
“I don’t know where to start,” Harumi said softly.
“Well, that is something you have to decide on your own,” Lloyd replied, offering a hint of encouragement. “And I, for one, trust that you will make the right choice”.
Harumi sadly smiled at Lloyd, before turning around and promptly leaving. Still pondering Lloyd's words. Trust? What did he mean by that?
After a few months of helping rebuild the Monastery, it was time for Harumi to face the consequences of their actions.
“Alright, it’s time to put you away, Quiet One.” the Officer exclaimed. Harumi was then put in handcuffs and placed in the back of the police car. They noticed Lloyd staring from a distance, his face reflecting a sense of sorrow. However, his expression soon changed to acceptance, knowing they deserved this.
The door closed, and the vehicle began to move. Harumi leaned back, mentally preparing for the road ahead.

Harumi stepped into their new cell. They looked around, taking in the new scenery. It was empty and cold, and the cracks in the walls reminded Harumi of their parents' old apartment.
It seemed as though they didn’t even bother getting them a roommate either, knowing it might cause trouble. They’d also given them a new outfit adorned in black and white stripes, the classic prisoner uniform. It wasn’t really Harumi’s style, though.
They had their red face paint washed off, now nothing but a memory.
Harumi scratched their head a little as they sat on their new bed. Even the beds were stiff and not very comfortable. Either way, Harumi attempted to make the best of what they had, since this would be their new life now.
They noticed a newspaper that was left lying on the bed, labeled “RELIC STOLEN
FROM BORG TOWER”. That’s weird, who left this here? Harumi quickly glanced at the title out of curiosity, before yawning and placing it on the floor next to their bed. They were too tired to care.
As Harumi started to get in bed and close their eyes, an officer came up to their cell and called Harumi’s name.
What is it now? Harumi thought, turning their head in annoyance. They had just gotten comfortable.
“You have a visitor.” the officer stated.
