Work Text:

A hundred years
Or maybe more
Either way, he began anew

At first he was
A simple guy
With no recollections of his life

As years went by
Nothing occurred
But he unknowingly fulfilled his wish

At first it was small
But he made friends
And lasting relationships for many years

Some came and went
While others stayed
Either way it was all the same

A normal school life
That seemed pretty bland
But he made lasting memories over the years

When that was done
He got a job
Thus fulfilled an ordinary life

But then something changed
And so sudden too
Which occurred during a drinking night

A simple thought
A flash of mind
He suddenly remembered it all

A wave of blood
Caused by him
With so many lives lost along the way

His terrible sins
His darkest deeds
And every bloodshed throughout the years

When it was done
He nearly felt sick
Due to a thought that crossed his mind

His life had changed
He became so bland
A life among the mortal crowd

But what to do
Now that he knew
Of the terrible things he did in the past

And thus he knew
This would not do
And vowed to change his life once more

He sold his house
And all of his goods
To purchase a hiking kit built for one

His trip began
He left Japan
With no plans to ever come back

He'll travel the world
And back again
To rediscover his brand new self

He'd meet some folks
Some better or worse
And find a new thing about himself

But there are times
When he's all alone
So he'll contemplate his previous life

He killed so many
Especially that time
But now the thought has made him sick

His face has changed
His life was renewed
So with a smile, he'll make amends

He'll camp and rest
Or dance in the streets
Or spend the night with a lovely face

He knew he was bad
And rather scummy
But thanks to him, he'll smile once more

He remembered the sights
All within the Domain
So he vowed to experience life like that

Then on a day
When he was in prayer
He was visited by an unfamiliar face

A green-haired girl
With a voice so soft
But her eyes were a familiar bright blue

Born with Six Eyes
And nothing else
So she had someone else teleport for her

She asked him some questions
About his new life
And he answered them as best as he could

His remorse was sincere
His curse level at zero
She could even see how powerless he was

So with a smile
She understood
And the two parted on friendly terms

She was gone so sudden
Like she was never there
But her sharp-tongued words echoed in his head

Ever since then
Things remained quiet
Allowing him to resume his travels

What happened next
No one quite knows
Whatever happened to the lone traveler Sukuna
