“So are you finally gonna start dating Soonyoung-hyung?” Jungkook drawls teasingly. “You used to talk about marrying him nonstop when we were younger…”
“Yeah, you were always like, ‘Soonyoungie-hyung, please be my mate! Please, please, please! I wanna be with you forever!’” Dongmin wails in a high-pitched tone, imitating how Mingyu used to talk as a child.
Mingyu groans in displeasure, and Soonyoung’s heartbeat quickens with apprehension. “Oh god. I can’t believe how fucking embarrassing I used to be. I hope he didn’t take me seriously. Those were nothing but a stupid kid’s words—”
Refusing to hear the rest, Soonyoung runs away.
