Summary:

007n7 is an expendable, he just had his first death and is now on his way to revive by the ferryman. But then he heard a booming voice in the water, who could that be?

Chapter 1

Chapter Text

When you're put into somewhere after being jailed on death row for your crimes of well burning a whole pizzeria down and killing many is a no brainer, but being put to work as an expendable to urbanshade is a thing you probably never expect. 007n7 was breathing hard, he was just revived by the ferryman.. well the woman called that. He just looks across the banlands where he was taken, a kind of place before he was fully back he thought. He heard some stirring at the surrounding landscape, he was gonna go through the portal but truly he was interested in everything around the banlands. He looks up and see's a floating mask, strange what could that be about? He goes near the ledge, till he saw something emerge to come for its mask. The creature was massive, and took up a good most of the sky for 007n7. Noli looked at the human that was staring up at him, he frequently saw those expendables be brought here by the ferryman but they would leave fairly fast but this one was just staring. He didn't mind and went to sit on the ledge, and 007n7 was quick to climb up the stairs to get a better look at the giant before him. " Wow.. " 007n7 mutters, he was scared but for some reason he felt drawn to it. 007n7 just stayed at the ledge, admiring Noli not even caring to come back into life right now. The portal was closed at the time anyways, so he can admire all he liked.

Noli was starting to notice the eye on him, " Now what may you be staring at huh? " His voice booms it was glitchy and hard to hear. 007n7 didn't really understand but knew Noli had to be talking about him, he kept staring and Noli just chuckled. 007n7 was super tiny compared to him so he just thinks his tiny human ears can't process such a voice like his. Noli jumps back into the water, then lifts out a bit so he is face to face with 007n7. He found the Human silly with the strange hat he had on, and glasses. This human was too wimpy looking, what could he have done to get here? 007n7 was taken aback when Noli did this, he didn't make any moves though wondering what the giant would say or do. Noli's mask just idlily floats as he reaches a hand out the 007n7 presumebly for him to get onto. 007n7 quickly climbs onto his finger, and sat on his palm. Noli got 007n7 closer to his face, and made some distorted chuckles. " What a cute human, I shall draw you.. " Noli hums, he went to sit back on the ledge once more getting a book out to draw in. 007n7 was snug on his hand, wondering what Noli was doing with that book. 007n7 was set down, and Noli started to draw. 007n7 just sat next to Noli as periodically Noli would lift 007n7 back up close to his face to get details on the little human. 007n7 was weirdly fine with this, and he didn't even know why. He knew at some point he had to go back but, staying here a little while longer wouldn't hurt...

Chapter 2: More and more I just keep coming back

Summary:

007n7 kind of is excited to die (with a token) just to see Noli again.

I didn't expect much people to enjoy this, It was originally a oneshot due to well how I worded it but hey heres another chapter lol. A bit rushed due to I wanna deliver to the masses.

Chapter Text

007n7 has asked many expendables about Noli, what was his name what they knew about him and most things come up short but at least he had a name for that giant he met. He luckily was able to keep a small note book, and every info he could get of Noli he wrote it down even if it was something small about him. But there were still so many mystery's about Noli, what's with the drawing he does? Or maybe he's writing down, 007n7 couldn't get much about the book he held when he was there. 007n7 sighed finally at the dock, once again ready to die by something. He hardly cared for the entities in this place, all he wanted to do was figure Noli out and be free. Every run at the back of his head he wanted to meet Noli again, but he didn't have any ferryman tokens to even do so. He was now in one of those side rooms, he has been taking time to look into the research he was collecting for the off chance its about Noli but nothing as always. 007n7 sighed, how would there be nothing about a giant like that? It was strange, he then started to focus on this run. Maybe he can find a ferryman token on a dead body, maybe on the floor he was diligent with checking the floors for loot anyways. All this work was much on his body, due to not really being all that fit in life. He joked to other expendables all this work would slim him down, make him look presentable to the ladies.

 

Now on the other hand Noli kept thinking about 007n7, even as a friend of the devil he can get a bit sidetracked for the smallest of things... literally. He doesn't know the humans name but he weirdly interested the smaller. He hasn't seen the little guy lately and it made noli a bit down, he kept drawing 007n7 over and over from what he remembered of the guy. But he knew that humans are not forever and shouldn't get attached, but how the human looked at him with such awestruck wonder and went on his hand was just the cutest! He badly wanted to know more, but how can he learn more with such barriers as this? Could he ask his friend the devil for advice, or maybe the ferryman. He didn't know it just sat at the cliff ledge doodling 007n7 but with a comedy mask, he liked that idea. Maybe he could take the little guy under his wing and write books together, or maybe even learn about that "urbanshade" these expendable humans rave on about. It excited the giant and yet he couldn't really do much about it right now, so to think on it even more he chose to go for a quick swim. He sometimes checks if a human coming the banlands was that human but for the most part nothing on that front.

Chapter 3: Meeting once more

Summary:

007n7 finally finds a ferryman token, all he has gained about this Noli he hopes to find out more.

007n7 was feeling heavy, he was useless for the most part. He hasn't even gotten to see the crystal, always dying before that room. He was a mess, and even more of a mess he couldn't see the thing that has been kind of grounding him as of late Noli. 007n7 was fighting for his life against pandemonium, every time he met this creature he left feeling more tired than shaken up like some normal person. He had gotten better with holding the lockers shut but god did he hate the stench the monster left behind, as he left the locker he noticed something shiny on the floor. A token! 007n7 lights up seeing the token that was burned into his mind, he swiftly picked it up and pockets it for later. Now he was excited to die, he kept going through the doors till the lights flickered he didn't really care if this was gonna be a stupid death he wanted no needed to see Noli now! Has it been a week since he last saw Noli? He forgot even, all he cared about was finding more information on this mystery nothing more nothing less. His next death was uneventful, he died to pinkie due to not being near a locker when she was coming through the facility.

The banlands, he was happy to be back there and to see noli. Noli was in the water right now, his mask above the water. He then went above the water, getting his mask back to his face. " Oh it's that human! " Noli was quick to notice due to the funny burger hat the smaller adorned on his head. " Noli! " 007n7 calls out, the taller tilts his head understanding his name was being said. " It's hard to get information out of people, maybe you can let me look in your book there...? " 007n7 pointed to the book hoisted on noli's hip hopping he understands what he was going for due to well the height difference. Noli thinks a bit, and then gets a bit closer seeing where was 007n7 even pointing at he makes a distorted hum understanding what 007n7 wanted. Noli knew how rare the necrobloxicon was so maybe bend a bit to give it easier for 007n7, the smaller clearly wants to read a book of course! Noli found it really adorable, he grabs his necrobloxicon off his hip and made a smaller version of it to drop to 007n7. As he did so, 007n7 yelped as a book dropped on his head. " Thank you! " He yelled, holding the book he felt like something may be answered. When opening it it was colorful, a light. He squinted, what was even the language in here? 007n7 got a bit frustrated, but he breathed in. No worries he can probably use his C00lgui to translate it, yea he can just do that. He was thankful for how easy Noli was being, Noli just was admiring how silly 007n7 burger hat is. He forgot how cute it was!
