Two time couldn't believe they were going through with this. Their best friend.. No, more than that… their lover, they had to kill them.
It was a sacrifice for the great Almighty Spawn, who was so blessed with its actions, and so persistent on its demands. Two time sharpened their dagger, getting ready for the sacrifice to be made.
If this sacrifice was made, the spawn shall bless him with a second life, and they will forever connect that life to their beautiful flower, Azure.
The nightshade field, the one Azure and then had strolled around often, talked about the blessing of Spawn was filled with an eerie mood.
“You needed me, my little nightshade? “ Azure broke the silence upon his arrival, their body in perfect physique, as always.
Two time broke through their thoughts of the action they were about to take.
“The Spawn is great, don't you agree?” Two Time asked, more so trying to convince them self more than him
“Spawn Alrighty, no such perfect sight other than it exists, I wonder why you asked me that? Have you believed my faith has broken? “ Azure asked, clearly puzzled by the statement Two Time made. They have worshipped it side by side before, praying for its grace of a second life.
“Spawn Almighty demands me to make a sacrifice, and in return it will give it's grace to me” Two Time spoke, bringing their dagger to their side
“Would I be permitted to question this sacrifice?”
“Im sorry… Azure”
“What are you-”
Two time tackled and climbed on Azure, positioning their dagger to his heart. Although Azure would be able to easily get Two Time off them, he was grateful that they were the sacrifice that Two Time mentioned, they would do anything for his little nightshade to gain their second life.
Sadly, they didn't get to utter his last words, as two time twisted the dagger in their heart, he did however, give a smile even after death.
Two time looked at Azures rotten corpse, their blood etching into the nightshades. Two time plucked a nightshade and put it in his pocket, a forever reminder of what they did.
