“For this experiment.. I should say I’m testing its effectiveness rather than your response to it.” Albedo said that but Aether knew his eyes weren't lying to him when he saw Albedo’s poorly hidden smug look?
“Uhh.. sure. Okay, cool.”
“Then we shall proceed tonight. Please come to my office tonight alone.” Albedo instructed and then he left.
Aether stares at the ground where Albedo stood earlier and shrugs. It must be some weird potion commissioned by someone and Albedo’s curiosity made him take it.
Dinner was quiet surprisingly. Paimon quickly ate her fill and then demanded she go to sleep after all that food. Every time passes is making Aether nervous. Albedo told him to come at night but didn’t specify what time.. and so he decided to come when Paimon was asleep since Albedo said he should go alone.
The headquarters is quiet when he enters and Aether makes his way as silent as possible to the second floor. He only managed to knock twice when the door opened and Albedo tugs him inside the room.
“Am I too early or late?” Aether asked. “Sorry, you didn’t say what time exactly..”
Aether fell silent when Albedo pressed a finger on his lips and successfully made him quiet.
“I say you’ve come at the right time actually.” Albedo sat him on his chair behind his desk and then walked to his wall of different potions, grabbing a glass vial carefully and returning to his side.
The red liquid slosh inside. Albedo placed it in front of him. It is a small vial now that he takes a closer look, unlike the ones Albedo usually owns.
“Drink it when you’re ready. The amount I concoct was only small since I need you to drink it all. If it fails then I simply just need to make another one..” Albedo explained.
Aether nods silently, ignoring how Albedo’s hand remains on his shoulder and settling his nape when he leaned down to take the potion. It was sweet when he tasted it, like a freshly squeezed sunset time so it was not hard to drink it all. Aether wished Albedo created more potion with this taste, all the ones he tried in the past were either burning, sour or will make him question his choices.
“Aether look at me..” Albedo calls for his attention.
Aether blushed at their sudden proximity but Albedo’s hand on his neck stopped him from backing away. Albedo stares at him deeply and closely.. Aether felt his heart racing and his cheeks warming up even more.
“How does it feel? Do you want to kiss me now?”
His eyes widened and for a moment Aether thought the potion was messing with his head.
“Aether, do answer the question please.” Albedo’s voice is suddenly deep and commanding.
Aether swallowed and nodded shyly, chewing on his lips when Albedo blatantly looked at his mouth.
“Wonderful.” Albedo whispers. “You’re adorable aren’t you?”
Aether was fairly sure it’s not the potion causing his little heart to panic. Albedo does make him want to go crazy in an insane way.
Their lips touched and Albedo felt too smug. Aether is very cute, blushing and so, so obedient. His heart flutters as well.. knowing that he only made a normal juice from sunsettias, no potions, and the real motive is just to kiss Aether.
