Chapter Text
Peter woke up with a sharp jolt
The last thing he remembered was Mr. Stark holding onto him his voice shaky and fading then… nothing.
Now, he was lying down in a damp, unfamiliar alley. The smell of rain and blood clung to the air. His spider man suite was torn slightly but it was still on. It seemed to be loading. He pushed himself up his eyes wandering while studying his surrounding
“Where… am I?”
Before he could make sense of it, his spider-sense buzzed the feeling sharp and electric. Someone was coming towards him.
Peter crouched low, instincts kicking in. A figure emerged from the shadows tall and thin dressed in purple and green. A painted white face stretched into a disturbing grin. The man... no, thing let out a giggle that ringed out making peters skin crawl.
“Hey there, kiddo,” the clown said, voice dripping with menace.
Peter’s pulse spiked. His first clenched.
“Back off!” he warned.
The clown only laughed and took another step forward.
Peter didn’t wait
He swung, hard.
The clown dropped instantly his face crumpled in blood leaking down
“Oh no… oh crap,” he muttered, realizing he went to far his instincts causing him to hit full force without a second thought.
Suddenly, a grappling hook shot down from above. A figure swung into view, landing cleanly at the entrance to the alley
The man was tall in a dark suite with a blue insignia
He scanned the screen; He started to talk then stopped clearly shocked and confused. “Wait. Who are you?”
“I’m, uh…Spider-man?” Peter offered, raising a hand awkwardly.
