(Time period Book is in: 2014
Time period Pencil’s in: 2025)
Book was outside late at night one day. All her friends were asleep but she somehow couldn’t manage to sleep. While Book was walking, she found a phone on the ground. Book looked around before picking up the phone and turning it on, surprisingly still working. She tried calling every contact on the phone but none of the numbers seemed to be working.
“Well let me see what this phone can do since it probably doesn’t belong to anyone anymore.” Book said to herself as she began turning on the phone again. She first wanted to see if the phone could still call people or if it was just a brick at this point. Book began typing in a random number from memory, the number being Pencil’s. As the phone kept ringing, there was no answer but she tried again and got an answer this time.
“Hello?” Pencil said, looking pretty confused on who was calling her. While Pencil was holding her phone, she was looking outside to see Book hanging out with her new friends.
“Hey Pencil! It’s Book so I found this phone-“ Book was cut off by Pencil interrupting her. She looked pretty confused on what Pencil was talking about.
“Book!? But I see you outside right now playing with your new friends!” Pencil was now confused as well on what was going on.
“New friends? I don’t remember having any other friends besides you and the rest of FreeSmart.” The two of them were extremely confused on what was going on and what either of them were talking about.
“Wait your voice sounds higher than usual. It’s like the way you sounded in bfdia.” Pencil whispered out while continuing to look out the window.
“Huh? We’re competing in bfdia right now! And my voice sounds exactly the same as it always has.” Book was getting pretty annoyed now at Pencil, still not knowing what’s going on.
“What!? No, we’re literally competing in tpot at the moment! Bfdia ended ten years ago!” Book was extremely confused now. She didn’t know she was talking to someone from a different time period.
“Okay Book, it’s currently 2025 right now and we’re competing in tpot.” Pencil said right before she was about to hang up. Book quickly realized what was going on and decided to clear everything up.
“Wait Pencil! You’re saying it’s 2025 for you but it’s currently 2014 for me.” Book said quickly. It still wasn’t adding up to her how she managed to call someone from 11 years in the future.
After the call ended, Book layed down on the grass with the phone in her hand. She didn’t understand how all this happened and if she could call others from the future.
