“Aoi. What is this?” Miyuki pointed at the pile of stacked Yabaley’s tomato juice cans on the floor. This was the last thing she wanted to see when she came back to the house.
Aoi fiddled with her sleeves. Seeing that Miyuki probably knew what the cans were already, she instead explained why they were there. “Yabaley’s is holding a collaboration with a cooking equipment company. The more Yabaley’s cans you buy, the greater the chance to win the raffle prize.”
Miyuki raised an eyebrow. “So what’s the prize?” She couldn’t think of anything Aoi would want even more than Yabaley’s.
“The prize is a pressure cooker. You said you’ve been wanting one for a while.”
Miyuki’s eyes widened. She was touched but honestly… how many cans did Aoi buy? She asked Aoi this and Aoi paused before she started to count the cans, her index finger moving to each one.
“Fifty,” Aoi answered.
Miyuki sighed. She couldn’t really be mad at Aoi because her girlfriend had good intentions. It wouldn’t be too hard to cook some dishes using Yabaley’s. She just had to figure out where to store all the cans.
