Tracen academy is a wide place where uma musumes gather to be the number one horsegirl and conquer the tracks. One of the most notorious thing in the academy is the well known three goddess statue that lies somewhere in the place, looming over every horsegirl that passes by. Those who prays over will be blessed with surging energy and luck.
"P-PLEASE GO OUT WITH ME!"
And there are those who uses these blessings to have the courage to court someone.
Two umamusume stands near the statue, one was having her head down, her hat almost slipping off as she use one hand to hold it in place, while the other holds out a bag of cookies and a letter. The other girl stood still, a little flustered and confused about the whole thing going on, but eventually opens her mouth
"Y-you like me, Rice Shower?"
Urara asked the girl in front of her. She isn't knowledgeable about romance or that sort of stuff since she's more focused on other things, like races and making everyone happy. She accepted the gift that Rice Shower gave as she looks at the ground, too bashful to lift her head.
"Yes! I know a sad, gloomy, pathetic girl like me is out of your league, but please give me a chance! I'll definitely make you happy!"
Rice Shower, who just lift up from her posture, looked at Urara with sparkles in her eyes. Rice Shower didn't know where the confidence comes from, the feeling of energy surging through her body is unusual, but at least the words that she wanted to say came out. Even without looking at Rice Shower, Urara knows that she's an honest person, although she couldn't look at her now. Hearing that, Urara is more flustered than she was the first time. She usually isn't like this.
"A, I wonder why you even like me? I mean, I kept losing even though I'm suppose to be a Tracen student and, ahaha, that sounds a little pathetic no?"
"No...Urara, Y-you're wrong! Just because you lose in races, it doesn't make you less of a formidable umamusume. Even if you lost, you can still have a smile on your face, I know it's hard for you to be positive all the time, but you always care about others feelings, I couldn't do that. I feel like I kept disappointing people with all the misfortune. But you-
You still wanted to be my friend.
You're way cooler than me, Urara.
Even if I won, even if I lost, it wouldn't mean a thing if you're not there."
There, all the things Rice Shower wanted to say were conveyed, loud and clear, no audio static. The decision lies in the one who received all of her message.
But as she looked back to meet Urara's eyes, she found the girl crying instead. Rice Shower panicked and started searching for her napkin but to ended up dropping it to the ground.
"A- I'm sorry!! Ugh I knew i shouldn't have said anything stupid!!"
Rice shower picked up her fallen napkin, but only to drop it back to the ground as her hand was gripped by Urara.
"I'm also happy!"
The three goddess statue's shadow looms over Rice Shower, she could see Urara's eyes sparkle, like a shooting star in the sky. It's captivating, and also beautiful.
"I'm happy to know about your feelings..."
Haru Urara smiled, not her usual smile that she usually show to other people, but it's a smile that only Rice Shower has ever witness. More dazzling, and it fits Urara more than a sad one.
"Please take care of me!'

The whole day, Rice Shower's vibe was different than her usual gloomy demeanor. Not in a bad way of course, though, Bourbon could suspect what happened that makes her like this. In fact, she's happy to know her best friend is happier today.
"Did she accepted you?"
Rice Shower looks at her bff and nods. She turned her head towards the window, looking down at Urara who was running like usual at the tracks. Even with her sport outfit, Urara looks dazzling. She still questions how someone like her could be accepted by someone so optimistic and kind. Truly feels like a blessing.
But Rice Shower also felt guilty. Now that they're together, wouldn't they become doomed with misfortune? Not only that, they have a date just two days after today.
What if everything went wrong with the date??
Negative thoughts are eating away her mind.
*bonk!
"Don't think about negative things."
Said Bourbon.

The D-day has finally arrived. She made sure that her outfit today is especially pretty with the assistance of her Roomate, Zenno Rob Roy and Bourbon. She's especially 30 minutes earlier so that she can prepare herself to face Urara.
'My heart is not ready...
What if i look weird??
What if the date got messed up!?
What if I'm too early and my misfortune decided to summon traffic!?
What if it rains!?!?'
All the weird thoughts are consuming Rice Shower
The location that she specifically choose is a grand theme park that she usually goes when she was a child. Not because it's popular and all, but rather, it's the only place she knows well.
'I'm so lame...I knew i should have find a better place. But I don't know any other place!! Ughhhhh'
"Oh, Rice Shower! I'm here! I can see you!"
A message appeared on her screen, the sender being her now official girlfriend. The simple thought that they're a couple still feels unbelievable, but it made her feel special.
'Wait, did she say she's here?'
She scans her surroundings and finally saw her girlfriend.
And she was captivated.
Urara's hair was undone with a few curls on the ends, added with a few hair accessories here and there which makes her look cute. She also wore a white dress that's a little above the knees. She looked angelic with the white dress, at least that's what Rice Shower thought.
While Rice shower only had her hair done in a low bun, and her dress is a mix of brown and white. Both of them looks good.
-a few hours earlier-
"Aaaaaa what should i do??"
The day of their date has arrived and she's already preparing herself for it. Unfortunately, her outfit that she was suppose to prepare got burned after ironing it.
She couldn't wear a ruined outfit, but she also doesn't have anything better to wear.
And she doesn't want to let Rice Shower down.
"Uuuuuu..."
As much as she hates being a burden to 'her' she really doesn't have a choice.
She dialed for King Halo.
"Kinggu!!!"
She shout at the call
"What seems to be the problem now...?"

Rice Shower and Haru Urara walked through the park together, scanning the rides before they made a decision. Although both are familiar with theme parks, they didn't know much about the rides since they're only focused on racing. It's their third year at school as renounced horse girls although both have a huge difference of a reputation. Rice Shower looks at the map while Urara fed her churros that they bought at a nearby vendor.
"What type of rides can you handle?"
Rice Shower asked Urara. Before riding anything on the theme park, it's best to know what type of things your friend can stomach, or else it wouldn't be an enjoyable day. Rice Shower knew this because she herself had a bad experience with the spinning cups when she was a child. She never wanted to relive that experience since it was also a core problem of her misfortune belief. In the end, Rice Shower can only look back as her panicked mother took her down from rides until they found a problem.
"I can handle any many rides, I think~ I've been in a few and nothing had went wrong before"
The gleeful Haru Urara thought about her days in theme parks and so far, nothing bad happen.
Well she also thought that now that her girlfriend attracts bad luck, she thought of the challenges and adventure they might get theirselves into.

So far, nothing bad happened. They first went out to try the spinning cups. No mechanical technician from the ride, that checks it. Then they went to the carousel, and nothing odd seems to ever happen. Then they ate and do a few games and rides here and there. Everything went smoothly. As the sun slowly dawns and the evening hits, they made their last trip to the rumored place where lovers usually go to...
The ferris wheel.
The two sat facing eachother while looking at the open window as the ferris wheel slowly starts spinning.
"Wahh, that was a lot of fun!"
Urara smiled really wide today. The whole day was exhausting but memorable. Memorable because it's with her girlfriend, and exhausting because they had to walk around that her stamina constantly deplet. But that doesn't make it less fun, infact she felt good about it.
"I agree. It's been so long since i felt so ecstatic."
State Rice Shower.
She had hung out with Meijiro McQueen, Goldship, and her trainer before to a very known amusement park the day before she defeated Bourbon. It was fun, and she also went there again after her third win. She had as much fun as today, but she felt special because it's with the one she loved.
While Haru Urara still looked outside to see the view from atop of the ferris wheel, Rice Shower seemed deep in thought.
"Hey, Haru-"
"Uwahh look Rice-chan! Fireworks!"
Urara pointed out at the distance,displays of fireworks were lighting up the sky, like a blooming flower. It looked both beautiful and very eye-catching.
Rice Shower and Urara were seeing the same sky. And the sky is as beautiful as it always is.
"So, what did you want to say? "
Hearing Haru Urara, Rice Shower was reminded that she was going to say something.
"Ah, uhm..." Rice shower rummages through her purse, in search for something.
"Found it." She extended her hands towards Urara and put the item around her neck. That item being a cute necklace with a shade of pink.
"Sorry, it looks a little shabby. Er- I was going to ask you to close your eyes as a surprise but...ahaha, I don't want you to stop looking at the fireworks! I'm a little embarrassed to give it to you, but I can't stop thinking about it. Oh, if you don't like it, then—"
Urara shook her head. She clutch the necklace Rice Shower gave her and smiled, it's her way of saying thank you, I love it.
"Ah, but i don't have...Rice-chan, can you close your eyes?"
Rice shower obeyed Urara and closed her eyes, although a little bit confused as to why.
Then she felt a sensation on her lips.
The feeling of another pair of lips were touching hers. It felt warm, or maybe supported by the factor of Rice Shower's body temperature rapidly rising. The feeling didn't stop for a solid 5 minutes until Urara decided to pull off.
Rice Shower was at a loss for words, literally.
She touched her lips, she could still feel the lingering feeling of Urara's lips.
She blushed at the thought, looked at Urara with surprise.
"Ehehe, sorry. We're at the top of the ferris wheel~"
Legend does say that when you kiss your partner at the top of the ferris wheel, your love will become eternal. Rice Shower doesn't believe in those things growing up.
But for today, she really hoped it happened.
"....one more.... "
"Eh?"
"C-can you...kiss me again..?"
Before she could ever finish her sentence, the ferris wheel shook, knocking them back to their seats.
"W-what was that!?"
Urara's face turned into horror.
"O-oh no! I think it's my misfortune again..."
Urara tried to cheer her up and try not to take the blame, until the announcement happen.
"Attention passengers, there seems to be some technical difficulties at this moment. Please stay inside your cart until the problem is resolved." The announcement ends.
"So in the end, the misfortune hits...sorry to ruin it Haru—"
But as she was about to finish her sentence, she felt a pair of lips touching hers again. The warm feeling returned, her mind went blank. She can feel Haru Urara's breath, her saliva mixing with hers, she can feel Urara's heartbeat, as much as Urara felt hers. None pulled away, as they enjoy basking in the warm embrace of the other, on the day inside the ferris wheel.
(They got out eventually and unforgettable experience for them both, i wrote this at 2 am)
