Jennie was excited. Why? It’s because the building where her label will be situated has finally been renovated, and now she can put in furniture and other items. She thought of having a housewarming party at some point, but first, she wanted to share this with someone.
When she got to the building, the first thing she did was immediately FaceTime her girlfriend Lisa, who’s currently in Paris. “Hey Nini,” Lisa greeted her with a smile on her face. “Are you tired?” was Jennie’s question to Lisa since she’s been working non-stop. Lisa replied with a head shake. “Yes, but I’m fine now that I’ve seen you,” Lisa said with a grin as Jennie chuckled. They then caught up on what had happened, and Jennie realized the reason why she called. “Oh Lisa, I forgot that the building where OA will be held has finished renovations,” she said excitedly. “Wanna see it?” she then asked Lisa, who smiled. “Okay,” Lisa replied to Jennie with enthusiasm.
With that confirmation, Jennie immediately showed what the place looks like and pointed to a room. “This is where the team and I will be holding our meetings,” she said, then turned around to show other things before moving on to the big space. “So, what are you going to put there?” Lisa asked Jennie curiously. “Oh, we’re thinking of putting a couch here,” Jennie told Lisa, who nodded and pointed to a corner. “I’ll put a shelf there that’ll store cameras,” she then said to Lisa, who looked amused. “Oh, I want to show you another place,” Jennie then said as she walked in another direction.
Jennie then went to the other side of the building and showed it to Lisa. “This will be the backyard, and I’m thinking of putting in plants,” she told Lisa, who was impressed by how big the backyard was. “Wow, it’s just like ours,” she noted, and Jennie chuckled. “Yeah, I guess all backyards of Korean houses are designed like that,” she replied to Lisa. When she turned the camera to her, she saw Lisa looking at her with a proud smile. “I’m happy for you, Nini,” she told Jennie, who thanked her. “I miss you,” she ended up saying. “Miss you too! I’ll check out the place when I come back if my schedule allows it,” she told Jennie, who nodded with a smile on her face.
After a few minutes of conversation, Jennie turned off her phone and stared around the building with a proud smile. “I have a building for my own label now, and I am free to do whatever I want,” she thinks as she feels proud of herself while looking around. She notices Alison and Jaemin, who are also looking proud of her, and after that, they leave, as there is more work to be done in her schedule.
