Chapter Text
"Furina, are you sure we should be...buying this much clothing?"
Furina stopped, standing back up and turning to face Lucine. "Well, of course!" She pouted, putting her hands firmly on her hips. "It's summertime, and a new season means a new wardrobe to complement it!"
Lucine sighed, looking down at the bundles of clothes she had in her arms. "Sure, but...don't you think this is a bit...much?" She asked, looking back at Furina, who had already gone back to sifting through the clothing racks.
"Ugh, Lucine!" Furina whined, turning to look at her sister again. "You've been stuck in your fountain for about 500 years, never taking the time to buy clothes, or do any of that shit! Let me treat you!"
Lucine sighed again, before nodding. "I...I guess I'll let you buy me new clothes," she conceded, adjusting her hold on the clothing bundles. "But, we are not doing this all the time! My closet would absolutely explode..."
Furina laughed at the comment, but nodded. "Yes, I know how you like to keep things...simple. But, it's good to have at least some variety, is it not?" She questioned, looking at Lucine from over her shoulder.
"Yeah...I suppose..."
"See? Aren't you glad you have me, your dear sister, to help you out with this sort of thing?"
"Yeah, but you didn't have to put it like that. You're making it sound like I'm being guilt tripped or something."
After a bit of back-and-forth between the two, Furina finally stood up from the racks and guided Lucine to the check-out.

"Well, I'd say we've had quite the trip today, haven't we?" Furina asked, smiling sweetly. She crossed her arms, looking over at her sister.
Lucine nodded, sorting out the bags in her arms. "Mhm...quite the trip, indeed," she confirmed, returning a nervous smile. "But, um, are you absolutely sure that I need all of this?"
Furina groaned, grabbing Lucine's arm and dragging her out of the store. Once outside, she took a deep breath and looked back at Lucine. "Lucine, you have been in that goddamn fountain for about 500 years! 500! And it is about time that you be treated to a new wardrobe!" Furina explained dramatically, placing the back of her hand to her forehead. "Why must you be so difficult with me? I'm only trying to help you!"
Lucine pursed her lips, giving her sister a confused look. "Look, I know I've never been shopping for...basically anything before, but that doesn't mean we'd have to...I dunno, buy all of this, y'know?" She reasoned, before smiling slightly. "But, it is a good chance for us to hang out again, since the last time we hung out was in the Fortress of Meropide while the Archons literally saved Teyvat from destruction, right?"
Furina pondered for a moment, processing Lucine's words. She sighed again, before crossing her arms. "Yeah, I suppose you're right," she confessed, looking off to the side. "But, what you do need is to come get desserts with me!" She put her arm around Lucine's shoulders, grinning excitedly.
Lucine laughed quietly, before following Furina. Although the two haven't had much time to spend with each other due to everything that happened, they now have a lot more time and energy to spend with each other now that the dust has settled, and they intend to keep it that way...
