Lucy Chen was a police officer who opened her home for a 17 year old girl who was homeless and her parents were declared dead this was all after the young girl named Tamara Colins stole her car the one thing that kept running through out a series of rough patches of her life like disappointed parents,terrible relationships and friendships but now Lucy not only opened up the spare bedroom of her apartment which belonged to her late friend Jackson West, but also her heart even though these two had a 10 year each gap it didn't really show and over the first few weeks of Tamara moving in they adapted to a mother-daughter relationship pretty quickly.
Lucy loved having Tamara around she filled the apartment back up with joy and laughter even though nobody can replace Jackson it was still an improvement to see the rooms full of colour again and in a way Lucy got her spark back.Tamara decorated her room with loads of art work the teenager had made throughout her time at high school where she would stay until closing so she could avoid being on the streets all night that is how she improved her painting and drawing skills quickly.As for her older roommate she was so happy as well as excited to see all the powerful and quirky paintings placed on the walls of the once depressing,grey room after Jackson where it was full of grief and nightmares forming dark clouds over once happy memorises of the two.
Tamara had adapted to the whole mid-Wiltshire family pretty quickly,since day 1 of Lucy introducing Tamara everyone naturally formed their roles with Tamara without even noticing.Grey & Luna act like her grandparents taking her out for meals as well as spoiling her with money and clothes,Tim was like a father figure he would act over protective but also give into what ever Tamara wanted so easily,Angela was her aunt who constantly talking about Chenford and those to would text as well as send photos of the "couple" acting like a couple even her husband Wesley would do anything for Tamara as a lawyer but also trust fund ,Nyla was definitely the aunt to go to when she wants someone to murder and hide the body without anyone knowing,Nolan was like an uncle who was an easy push over but also helped with building and fixing things especially for her room these projects would be done at a drop of a hat, Smitty would always give her life advice however it was made clear by Tim not to follow it but Tamara loved the little conversations and of course Lucy was like a mother to her.Tamara was grateful she now has a whole family who would have her back in any scenario.
As Tamara got settled into her new life living in a decent apartment with access to food and water 24/7 without having to participate in swiping she even got into a good stable routine like waking up at 6:50am,she would have breakfast with Lucy if she had a day shift,get ready for school,complete all lessons at school,come home and do homework.For Tamara that was a decent day as her social life was not the best as she had a reputation at school for being the weird homeless girl however when on route to school on the 6th March 2025 the everyday routine would change slightly.
Tamara was walking through the same park as she did everyday to get to school but as she was walking a ball came into her direction.
"Heads!" someone yelled
Tamara didnt have time to react or even notice the stranger was yelling at her to move or duck, a purple and blue football hit Tamara on the head(yes I put football cant call it soccer)
A girl with tight curly hair came sprinting over,"oh god,I am so sorry,are you okay?"
still holding her right hand on her head Tamara looked over at the girl,"yeah I should be fine"
"you sure that was quite the hit to the head"
"dont worry about it"Tamara tried to shoo her off
"let me at least have a look dont want a smart and beautiful girl like you getting a concussion"
This random girl had now grabbed Tamara hand and removed it from her head,"Well shit you got a nice egg forming on your head"
"what a great start to the day"Tamara said sarcastically
"you should come and sit for a minute with us"the girl pointed towards a group of teenagers that appear to be around Tamara age"
"I appreciate the offer but I have school"
"dont worry about it my mate Logan who is sat over there his mum is principal of the school"
"How do you know what school I go to?"
The girl started to smirk,"I.....see you all the time but to....afraid to talk to you"
On the outside Tamara just nodded however internally she was freaking out,she didnt know what this weird feeling was it was warm and cozy.
"Are you joining us?"
"s-sure" Tamara was now stuttering and was instantly embarrassed
As they were walking across the grass,"oh by name is Eva"
"Tamara"
Eva led Tamara over to the group,there was about 5 guys there all with different styles of clothing from baggy to sports wear and two of the guys had arms around what clearly looked like their girlfriends.
"Everyone meet Tamara" Eva pauses,"Logan can you text your mum saying Tamara"Eva pauses again not knowing her last name
"Colins"
"That Tamara Colins will be late due to injury"
"sure" Logan grabbed his phone out of his jort pocket and started texting away
"Eva injuring a girl is not how you flirt" a small girl piped up
"shut up Sophie"
Tamara started to crack a smile,"are all you guys skipping?"
"nah we have free period so you can walk in with us"Eva responds while doing keepy uppies
It's been a while since Eva introduced Tamara and while some of the friend group are now playing football Tamara was sat next to Sophie on the floor
"can I ask a personal question?" Sophie asked
"s-sure"
"are you gay or bi or whatever"
Tamara had to think for a couple of seconds,"I-I dont know I mean nobody has asked me before,why?"
"because Eva has a thing for you and as one of her long time,closest friends I want to make sure that she is going for a girl that is into girls not like last time"
Tamara blushed slightly,"Eva likes me"
"oh yeah she has it down bad every time she sees you in school its like she zones out and watches you, theres times where she will describe you whilst complimenting you but shes always been to embarrassed or worried you dont date women"
"Well I can say never dated women however if a certain someone makes the first move I wouldn't decline"
Sophie smiles,"I will let her know"
Tamara turned her head towards the penalty shoot out that had formed in front of them,Eva was clearly the goalkeeper of the group as she claps her hands together to make a loud noise due to the bright,yellow Nike goalie gloves.Logan was first up and as he was trying to play mind games with Eva Tamara couldn't help but noticed her big thigh muscles as she was debating what way to dive.When she saved the penalty she landed on the floor with the ball placed tightly in her hands automatically flexing her biceps,Tamara thoughts definitely went crazy as her imagination went wild she was taken out of her thoughts by a phone call from Lucy.
"I need to take this"
Tamara walked away from the group accepting the call
"Tamara is everything okay the school emailed me an absent form and the excuse was labelled injury"Lucy had a very worried tone
"Lucy I am all good just got hit on the head"
"did you get in a fight or someone bullied you?"
"what!no seriously girl calm down I got hit with a ball"
"a ball?Tam where are you?"
"at the park but dont worry I will be going into school soon just need to sort this egg on my head first"
"well as long as you are okay"
"Lucy I am fine just go back to arresting people or whatever"
Tamara walked back to the group and everyone was backing up ready to walk to school
"Is everything okay?" Eva asked putting her gloves back in her bag
"yeah just a very worried roommate"
"ah Logan didnt go into much detail"
"something like that"

The rest of Tamara's day at school was smooth she still was unsure about the whole friends thing so she spent her lunch time in the library as always however on her way out of the building heading home she manged to get Eva's snap.Once Tamara got home Lucy was making dinner.
"Tamara are you okay,hows your head?" Lucy was very much panicking and placed the knife on the cutting board before running over to the young girl and looking for potential injuries
"I told you I am fine"
Lucy ran her fingers over the lump,"that needs some ice sweetheart"
"I am fine my head is not going to fall off"
"dont get cocky with me"Lucy dashed to the freezer and turned back round to see Tamara smiling at her phone,"whos got you smiling miss"
Tamara desperately wanted to tell Lucy about Eva,her gorgeous smile that show her dimples,the tight black curly hair that bounced when she ran,her funny personality and of course the muscles that her clothes wrap tight around, clearly goes to the gym but she was worried about Lucy's reaction.
"Tamara!" Lucy shouts
Tamara snapped back into reality
"are you okay?" the older roommate asks
"yeah" Tamara placed the ice on her head before heading towards the couch
Tamara continued to think about Eva in the back of her mind

Over the last few weeks Tamara has been hanging out with Eva and even talking constantly over messages or even face time,Lucy hasn't said anything but can tell something is up die to the difference in Tamara with her relationship with school its like she is starting to love going and comes back looking confident but Lucy knows not to push Tamara into answering any questions in order to gain trust she is gonna have to wait for her.
3 weeks after the ball incident Eva got up the courage to ask Tamara out this was after the 3rd date,after the pizza they walked down to the seafront and thats when she asked her and of course Tamara said yes without any hesitation.Since then the football community at school all joked around about Tamara being Evas WAG and to play the part even further the centre forward of the team Megan got a replica goalie shirt with Evas last name printed on the back,Tamara didnt even care she wore it to every match and cheered Eva on which made the team fall in love with her even more for the first time ever she finally had a friend group.
Today Eva had practice after school and Lucy had a late shift which meant the apartment was free,her and Eva havent done anything further than making out but today Tamara was desperate she was ovulating every little thing Eva did turned her on and it was bad especially how its not even 1st period yet.
"tonight the night"Tamara said as she tapped her thighs with two of her fingers
"oh" Eva smirked
"Lucy is at work and the apartment is free"
"well I have practice until 4"
"and I will be there"
"you sure its okay if you want to go home I mean no other players partners watches practice"
"I am no other partner"
Eva smiled and went in for a kiss which Tamara gladly leaned into it wasnt rushed it was slow and loving
"we really need to get to class" Eva said
"I mean its not like we learn anything"Tamara said finally walking down the hall
They passed the janitors closet,"quicker in the janitors closet",Eva looked at Tamara as she started to smile
"you have time" Eva asked
"no but a girl can fantasise"
Eva rolled her eyes as they made it to Tamaras first class,"see you after,dont fantasise too much"
Practice was over,Eva was walking off the pitch towards Tamara who was sat in the dug outs
"ready to head to yours?" Eva said while trying to down her sports drink
Tamara got up and through her arms around Eva feeling her define back muscles through her goalie shirt
"dont change",Tamara whispered in her ear
Eva broke the hug,"you sure I am all sweaty"
"thats what makes it worse"
Eva smirked a little while grabbing Tamara's hand and taking her to the car
Once at the apartment dinner was the least of their worries and decided to cuddle on the bed watching outer banks,once that was all done Tamara straddled Eva and thats when she could feel the hands of her girlfriend gliding up her spine.The girls were making out and didn't even hear Lucy come through the apartment door after finishing the shift from hell noticing the place didn't smell like dinner nor dirty dishes Lucy was now concerned if Tamara was eating during her ate shifts.Lucy walked down the hallway towards the young girls room and could her noises very distinctive she stopped in her tracks to think I mean technically she is 17 this isnt illegal and to be honest its completely normal however Lucy was protective when it came to Tamara.She wasnt going to storm in there however she didnt really know what to do so she thought to act normal like what she always does when she comes home.
"Tamara,I am home" Lucy stated not very loud but not very quiet
About 5 minutes later Tamara and some other girl that looked like she could be 17 stepped out,"sorry about the delay she was just leaving" Tamara gesturing towards Eva
"thanks for the revision"Eva winked and turned to smile at Lucy before leaving
When the door closed Lucy giggled
"what is so funny" Tamara asked
"you, trying to hide what you were doing with that girl in your room"
"we were studying"
"For art?" Lucy gesturing towards the hickeys all over Tamara's neck which she tried to cover with having her hood up on her jacket
Tamara gulped looking down at the floor like shes just been caught doing drugs
"Tamara I am not mad about you exploring your sexuality,if thats what you are worried about"
"Sorry"
"honey you have nothing to be sorry for"
"I kept this secret from you after you opened your home"
"it doesnt matter if you told me right as you moved in or in 10 years I still love you"
"well in that case that was Eva shes....my girlfriend"
Lucy started to smile,"well she looks nice however I wished I could have met her not necking it on with my daughter"
Tamara went bright red,"oh my god"
