Bureau guests

Summary:

The bureau lives its own life, but sometimes guests come to them, both new and those with whom they are already well acquainted.

Notes:

These two chapters are for the seventh birthday. I also consider it necessary to say that they were written before I decided to take part in the BB, and learned the topics for each day. But why two? I just couldn't choose, I like each of them differently. And despite all this, I hope you enjoy reading.

Chapter 1: Free day

Chapter Text

Prompt7

Free day

How much do you think the average person meets something amazing, something that cannot be explained by logic? That's right, the answer is zero and one percent, and yet there are special people, but there are also ordinary travelers who wandered into a world to which they do not belong.

Those who visit him assure that they were kind of in wonderland and you can't blame them for that, it's not every day you'll see creatures that can move and talk like he's one of them. It's a pity that you won't share with anyone, because society will consider you crazy, but there is one small loophole here, these are children. Children can become sponges that absorb these stories and convey.

Something I started talking just now we will go to one small house in an alley, carefully hidden from human eyes, but not insured against penetration, this was the only minus that its residents could not cope with.

Now it was evening, one wigurka cat, as if a man was stuck in his inanimate form. It was a white cat with blue eyes. The hue of her dress was not to say blue and not green, I don't know who this master is, but he did a great job and her look was complemented by a hat, gloves and an umbrella that should protect from the sun.

Perhaps for her it would be another, unremarkable evening, passing after midnight, because there are not so many visitors, they usually do not come to them at such a time.

Even without waking up, she felt a slight breeze in their space, which rustles as the leaves of their lemon tree grow near their home.

Soon a big white cat appeared, his name is Muta, he is one of the employees of the bureau, as well as in some way a guide for their guests, if they did not know how to find us, and as the new guest usually led, well, not to say that not ordinary, but people are rare here, and today such a rarity happened.

The guest, of course, demanded that the one who owns the bureau, and can help him resolve issues and return him to normal life, and between the lines he says his problem, and deciding that it is worth greeting with his signature gesture. Or rather, using the light of the moon, and her magic, she flooded all the shelter with light, made it seem as if the stars were falling from the sky, from which the young man staggered, fearing that one of the stars would fall into him.

And naturally Muta grumbled not enough, because he did not like all these light shows. Here for a while, I am forced to shut up and allow the character to enter into a dialogue, but I cannot guarantee the absence of interference.

The double doors opened, and the cat elegantly, like an aristocrat, approached her guest - "Good evening! Welcome to the bureau, you are now in a world somewhat different from yours, there are creations that have found a soul, like me and he" -shell looked at the pillar on which sat the already luminous statue of a crow, which gradually turned into a living crow.

"Is he?" the youth asked, impolitely pointing his finger at the statue.

"His name is Toto, he is a statue of a hunchback, which has been here since the time this place was created" - explained the cat

"We have a guest again, as curious" said the raven.

"And to those who brought him, Muta turned out to be again" - the cat turned her attention to the big cat, and the raven did the same.

"What? I don't like it either, they often take me away from business lately "

"Affairs? Do you mean begging like a homeless person? "

"But, I don't eat carrion, grilled chicken wings"

"I see your fat doesn't help your intelligence one bit, that it's not able to tell a chicken from a crow" - now Toto has flown low enough to "accidentally" touch it with his claws.

Toto's actions, provoked Mutu, - "Landed, and fight honestly without tricks"

"Then it'll be like I'll give you a head start."

The cat watching turned to the young man - "it's likely to take time, so he'll go inside and solve your case"

Of course, the young man's case was a little problematic, but it was resolved very quickly and just before dawn the bureau members returned home.

Muta went to the world of people to bypass his possessions, Toto took his place on the pillar and turned into a statue, in this matter he spent a lot of effort, and he needs rest. and the cat went inside, where a faint light was on, illuminating only the room itself, letting you know that there was someone in it. And the truth is that inside the buffet there was a cat like her, only a redhead in a gray suit, and in a red yellow.

"How did your investigation go?" 'he asked.

"Much better than first thought," she said wearily, "I'll do a detailed report later."

"Then maybe a cup of tea, it will help you inspire strength," the baron suggested.

But Louise shook her head: "Another time. I'm tired, and you know perfectly well my attitude to everything related to the sun "

'Of course I don't mind doing it another time'

'Have a nice day'

"And you have pleasant dreams"

Louise allowed herself to nod and go to a part of the lodge that their clients don't know about.

The Baron drank tea, which today did not work out a bit, and was glad that Louise refused, and did not have to offer this terrible attempt, although she had been accustomed to it for many years.

He put on a jacket, hat and, not forgetting about the cane, took his place on the table, waiting for a client to come to them. And on the wall is a portrait from the portrait of the baron, replaced by a portrait of Louise. And so they continued their business, helping those in need in turns, but sometimes they could be seen together.
