Uncovering Secrets
To Uncover The Past, We Must Walk In Truth
“Hmm,” the blond-haired teen hummed.
Elsewhere, not far from there, another blond-haired teen looked over as He approached. “Son, son, now is the time. Son, the time has come. Time to put a few mysteries to rest and make good on my promise to you and your family. Are you ready to leave Heaven soon?”
“Though I am happy here, yes, I am ready.”
“Good, now we will wait for someone to show up.”
“For whom?”
“You will see, namely something you desired to have while you were alive, but did not have.”
“Hmm?” He couldn’t really remember what he wanted when he was alive but never had. “Do I know this person?”
“No, but you will shortly. However, you do know his father.”
“Oh.” Then it hit the ghost teenager, what he never had but badly wanted, a friend.
No luck, oh well, he could keep trying and keep looking, for a little while yet. Curfew wasn’t for another 3 hours, but it was getting dark, so it was getting late enough for him, and it was time to start to head home soon. Or at least leave here, as Dustin wasn’t liking being outside this late at night, in a possibly bad side of town with the rumours of what had taken place. Going to the washroom to use the facilities and get some water, headed off to head back home, or to at least leave, and find someplace else to search, other than here. But Dustin stopped as he crossed the road.
He had seen the old house a few times when he was driven to work, and a few times the sleazeball he worked for even told him. ‘I bet the place is loaded with all kinds of good stuff.’ Too bad the creep, despite having the Aspiration to want to see them, wasn’t too fond of the ghosts, that were rumoured to haunt the old place. But Dustin knew the real reason or reasons, one of two, or both, or rather the third big reason, why he never ventured into the old place to see what goods were ripe for the picking. It was because despite having the correct Aspiration to want to see ghosts, but mostly it was because the police had been known to regularly keep tabs on the place, day, and night, as it was a historical old place. Teetering on being condemned to be unsafe. Nothing looked like it was falling apart, but it was certainly old enough to do so. It was also rumoured to be cursed. There had been rumors, although there was no such proof, it had taken place, let alone, who had done it, if it was true, or why. But rumors had it, or at least speculation, it was a murder, possibly of passion, and betrayal, that supposedly had taken place there. If those 2 reasons were not reason enough, the other big one was, Gordon King was a highly suspected criminal.
Dustin after coming back from using the restroom, before leaving for a ‘job,’ and rethinking his life choices and praying how to get out of them. He through Divine intervention had overheard something he never should have, from one of the bosses, who was warning Gordon, to ‘keep the kid close, do not let the new kid know where you have been, or what you have done, or you will be in a chair, you do not want to be sitting in.’ Dustin now knew Gordon had been in trouble with the law before, and he may be a wanted criminal, hence why he moved to Pleasantview to get away from his past. Because of the suspected rumours he was a criminal, — he overheard the discussion, of warning, of not getting cocky, or sloppy — as apparently, he was one or two petty violations away from being locked up, and having his misdeeds and back history looked thoroughly through, to see what else they might charge him with, and if he is wanted anywhere else. Trespassing in a nearly condemned historical old place, would be just the thing and excuse to lock him up, possibly for good! Hell, Gordon may indeed even windup facing the chair! Dustin chuckled, thinking if he did get Gordon to agree to break into the place, he might get off with a slap on the wrist, if he just spilled the beans, and the secrets he was privy to, that he would finally be free of this job he wasn’t allowed to quit, and maybe only fined with some community service, and that would hopefully be it.
What a mistake, it was, being tricked into that rotten criminal job he was stuck in. The only way he was going to get out of it, unless he could trick Gordon, into getting caught, was to flunk in school, fortunately with his still lingering unresolved depression due to still being in mourning, well, it wasn’t far off. His grades had slipped quite a lot, the only reason why he wasn’t a D- student already was because he was in an advanced class in one subject he was excelling at. Thus, this kept his other grades from slipping completely down the flusher. Since he was acing that one class, it kept him from flunking the rest of his classes, as some schools grade on a curve, and averaged out the rest of the classes. Also, knowing what had happened, gave him a bit of grace, that his grades would pick up sometime during the next semester and even the school counsellor told him because your head wasn’t in the right place; to concentrate on school, I will let them average your grades out. But there were a few classes he was just not good at. Bah, dumb, get help with the classes you are not strong in, or better yet find out why the kid isn’t doing so well, — which they were doing a bit of — but that was the furthest thing from his mind.
“Huh, so the old place is seemingly cursed, huh, because of a rumored murder, well, true or not, I know one thing that is true if a murder did, in fact, take place here. Cursed or not because of the murder or murders, I bet no one bothered to close the doors that were left wide open here, because of that. No wonder why bad things seem to happen here. Someone got knocked out because of that weeping willow tree’s branch fell off, someone broke a leg or an ankle tripping on a crack in the sidewalk, and that’s just the stuff I heard about, but I heard that there are all kinds of bad stuff, going on here, more than I just know about, weird spooky things. Huh, no wonder why the cops regularly patrol the place to keep tabs on the old place, and to keep stupid people out of here, for their safety.” Dustin shutters, not from the cold, but what he could sense here, it was not good at all.
He was always a sensitive child, and sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s nudging’s and promptings. Dustin at times was not always good at regarding it at certain times, like recently, when he was tricked into a criminal job. But Satan had taken full advantage of the sadness and depression, red Aspiration, which led to the vulnerability in his mind. Dustin still knew it, or was vagally aware of it, that something was off, he was being prompted to say, no, and to walk away, but the devil’s curiosity, got the better of him. So, he messed up and accidentally wound up working for a criminal, to find out what dad did for a living. He should have and could have just asked mom! This time, however, he was more sensitive and realized, thanks to two Sundays ago, he knew about doors and gateways.
“So, is he the one You mean, Jesus?”
“Yes, get ready.”
“Something is just wrong here, it’s ugh, awful, what the hell is…that’s it, Hell. Seems the devil is afoot around here, because of a spiritual foothold because that nasty bugger has an open doorway in and out from the hellhole he crawls out of. Well, no more, time to put a stop to all of that and rid it of this so-called curse if there really is one.” Praying silently to make sure he has his armour on, and then starts the verbal declarations. “Jesus! Jesus in Your blessed Holy Name, I order and declare the already defeated demons, the Devil, that Satan, the Accuser, the Adversary, and any unclean spirits, that have any sort of footing here, because of the murder or murders that have taken place here, if that is the case, or, whatever has caused this place to have open devil doorways. That the evil spirits now be all sent chained and bound in the mighty Name of Jesus, back down to Hell, where they all belong! Slam close and firmly shut and lock and bolt lock up any and all door or doors that were opened because of the murder or murders that have taken place here, or whatever evil thing that has taken place here, or for any and all ways that have opened up any sort of demonic doorways. I also ask that You forgive any person or people that are responsible for any sinful, despicable acts, that have opened up any bad demonic doors and doorways. I now plead Your precious Blood to cover over the murder or murders that have taken place here, and any other sort of wicked acts that have opened up any wicked doorways. Forgive and pardon everything, all of the wickedness that has been done here, cleanse the whole place out; inside, and out, every crack and crevice, absolutely everywhere Holy Spirit, so it can be done, to shut the demonic doors that need to be shutdown and firmly shut. My Father in Heaven, judge the ones that need to be judged, for You are the Great Judge of judges. So, judge the evil spirits guilty and condemned already back down to Hell, where they all belong. As for the living, if any, I ask only, Your will be done! Slam the demonic doorways all shut and lock them with Your powerful Blood that was shed for us on Calvary’s Cross!!” With that loud declaration, the spiritual foundations all shook hard with a powerful earthquake, that took place in the very real Spiritual Realm, as the ‘children’ of the enemy of our souls and the nasty minions were sent back to Hell, where they all belong! All doors, doorways, footholds, and gateways from Hell now closed and slammed shut and locked! Yes, the previously cursed place, received a blessing and opened a doorway in its place for a miracle to take place! Heck even Dustin felt it physically as he fell to his butt. He was slain in the spirit, over his wonderful powerful prayer! Abled to sit-up a bit slowly, remarking, with a giggle, “Whoa, that was one powerful prayer I said, if I felt that too. Can’t even begin to imagine what’s going on in the Spiritual Realm right now because of it. Other than those demons must be getting their sorry butts kicked in.”
“Whoa!” Falling flat on his back, the ghost teen was shaken, and was now shaking hard! He saw his cousin as she as well as Rainelle made a brief appearance. But upon finding out what just happened and why the sudden atmosphere change, both breathed a proverbial not literal sigh of relief and went back to rest. “Jesus, what just happened?!” Well one good look around he saw the Angels of God beating down the demons and quickly dispatched them back down to Hell where they belong, and the fiery doorways quickly vanished as they were firmly closed and sealed shut! He saw the Blood of his Savior covering everything over, and there was peace and rest now, finally! When he haunted his old home, him, and his cousin, as well as later on, Rainell, were so sullen and not at peace over what was done. Now the whole atmosphere was changed completely around here! “Whoa, wow, the evil spirits, and Satan they are finally leaving! Yes!!! Who closed all of Satan’s doorways and footholds he had here? Who did this wonderful thing? I must know, who is the one responsible for this blessing? Whoever it is, please, bless them, Jesus.”
“My son, him, prayed a very powerful prayer, which just shut the devil’s doorways and footholds, caused by the murders done to your family and the one committed separately to Rainelle. As well as any other misdeeds, I remember them no more, and they no longer have any power or a foothold here anymore.”
“Oh, bless him for what he has done here.”
“I already have and will indeed, and it will bless you as well, as well as the rest of your family.
Dustin looked around, making sure no police were around and had a good long look around, he spotted what looked like a gravestone, what he was looking for, namely his father’s gravestone or urn. For some unknown reason, Grim never left one. Now needing to know if it was his dad’s grave, tried the gate, and it opened. Maybe it wasn’t as old as he figured, or someone was keeping up with the maintenance of the house, to keep it structurally safe. “Okay, just here to check one thing and I’ll be on my way. Not here to cause any trouble. If anything, I probably fixed whatever was spiritually wrong here. There should be no more bad things happening anymore now, this place I can feel it, is cleansed and blessed.” Dustin not only felt safe and peace here, he also, spotted not just 1 but 3 graves here! Perhaps he was in luck, and he might have found his father’s grave here. But no, it wasn’t to be. “Dad, are you resting here? If so, who put your grave here and why? Phooey, it isn’t dad’s grave, not any one of them. Someone named Rainell, and Gvaudoin, that’s certainly a French name, and like all the other ones except for Rainell Neengia, their last name is also, Tricou. So, with about a 3-year gap, I guess that’s Gvaudoin’s older brother or possibly, her cousin Fricorith.” At that, the ghost teenager was floating over there in a beeline to Dustin.
